Drugstore Products That Work
Johnson's - Shea & Cocoa Butter Oil Gel *skin is dry and is prone to eczema I’m getting a real flashback to summer! This is one of my favourite oil gels to use in the summer for shiny and smooth skin. And it’s only like $8 at Shoppers Drug Mart! A DEAL! In the summer, when I use self tanner I love to use this every other day in order to keep my tanned skin soft and glowing. This works best when you’re not applying self tanner on the same day, but when you’re fresh out of the shower and still have that tanning glow. I loooooove using this after I’m all clean and freshly shaven. It leaves my skin sooooo soft and smooth and gives it a subtle shine that’s perfect for when you’re wearing shorts or tank tops in the summer. It also smells great and the Shea and cocoa butter are super moisturizing and half the reason I bought this in the first place. My only hesitancy towards this is that is an oil. Naturally that means it’s a little greasy to apply, and can be a little sticky until it’s absorbed fully. Additionally, I found that it did cause some acne in the chest area but found that could be prevented with good exfoliation in between uses. I only like to use this in the summer because it’s refreshing and just feels a little lighter than a cream body lotion like I need to use in the winter. I definitely recommend trying it as I will definitely repurchase!
