Huge pores and oil slick T-zone?
Hylamide - Pore Flush I found this product browsing the Deciem website and if I’m being honest I needed to spend more to get free shipping 😂 so I settled on this. There are some really amazing reviews on the website for this so I’ve been pretty excited about it getting here. Hylamide is basically the “step-up” brand from The Ordinary and it’s also really reasonably priced. I love the bright and simple packaging. This pore flush is described as a plant and marine based mist formula to help visibly reduce pore size and sebum overactivity. Includes Buchu and bridewort in a base of natural marine polymers. Booster Pore Flush helps reduce visible sebum accumulation within pores which can cause pores to appear enlarged. This product forms a natural, non-clogging marine-derived film to tighten pores immediately and visibly reduce sebum even further through a different pathway than that offered by other technologies within the formula. This product is : 🚫water free 🚫alcohol free🚫oil free🚫silicone free🚫nut free🚫gluten free VEGAN 🌱 and cruelty free 🐰 Directions: Spray on face am and pm on a clean dry face before other skincare treatments. I use in place of a toner. This product has me doing a happy dance 💃🏻 The second picture shows my face after using this AMAZING pore flush. I’m one of the lucky ones who have gigantic pores and I have never found anything that makes them look smaller until now. I can tell a huge difference and along with that it controls my oily T-zone better than any product I have ever tried and let me tell you..... I have tried A LOT!!! After misting on my face, I take a cotton pad and pat around a bit to make sure the entire area is covered. One thing I need to mention, the scent of this spray is..... interesting 😂 Upon spraying it smells a little bit like chamomile and a tiny bit citrusy. After it sits on my face for a few minutes however, I seem to get a faint whiff of 🐱 pee. I know that’s super weird and I actually saw others talk about this in reviews and I just overlooked it. It definitely does remind me of that. But it’s nowhere near a dealbreaker and the smell goes away super quickly. This controls my oil production almost all day. Even under make up. This is a skincare SUPERSTAR in my eyes!! And at $11.00 for 120 ml. This will be a staple in my routine and will purchase again!! ❤️Pros—- Absorbs quickly Visibly shrinks my pores almost immediately Makes my T-zone matte for hours which helps tremendously under makeup. Love the price 😭Cons—- The smell but it goes away quickly Shipping from Deciem takes a while If you have gigantic pores and an oily T- zone like myself, I seriously cannot recommend this product enough. At this price what do you have to lose? Have you ever tried this product? I would love to know your thoughts as well! ❤️
Flush The Sebum Outta Those Pores! 🤩
Hylamide - Pore Flush The Ordinary’s sister company, Hylamide also has great products. One revolutionizing item for me is their Pore Flush Booster. This baby promises to visibly regulate sebum and minimize pores. Add to 🛒 cart. My overproduction of sebum has a lot of upkeep and even before I owned this product, I was already purchasing so many things to alleviate that. Within 2 days though my pores would fill up again. Now after finding pore flush, I finally found the missing item that fights excess sebum. It’s a permanent part of my skincare routine, I apply it AM and PM on a clean and dry face only in target areas that only overproduce sebum on my nose and cheeks. HOW DOES IT KEEP SEBUM AT BAY? 1. Bridewort bioderivatives An ingredient that acts as a solubilizer of congestion in pores to literally flush them out. 2. Buchu bioderivatives Helps reduce sebum accumulation which can cause the appearance of enlarged pores. 3. Natural Marine polymers Forms a natural and non-clogging film to tighten pores immediately and further reduce sebum. BONUS FEATURES: It’s also free of: oil, alcohol, silicone, nuts, gluten, cruelty and is vegan 🙊 I highly recommend this product! It made a huge impact on my sebum output. 🔥
Pores pores and more pores
In the series of pictures above, you can see all the usual questions and answers about pores. Pores are the bane of my existence and it’s so difficult to treat them so they look better and smaller. I was born with gigantic pores apparently which it was really hard to find out that they are genetic. You can treat them though! You just have to find the right products that work with your face. It’s time we do what we can and then decide to love our pores and understand that size REALLY DOES NOT MATTER! ❤️ Things you can do: Stay out of the sun and ALWAYS wear a good spf Stop smoking 🚬 (inhaling nicotine on the regular dries out your skin, shrinking the blood vessels that deliver oxygen and nourishment. This deprives your skin of important nutrients and speeds the aging process.) Look for products with charcoal and clay, which draw out impurities, or other pore-minimizing serums and face masks. Exfoliate Exfoliate Exfoliate. This doesn’t mean everyday but if you want to minimize your pores, this is a step you don’t want to skip! Use a daily toner with AHAS and BHAS The drier your skin, the bigger they look so keep your skin hydrated. Use non-comedogenic products that won’t clog pores. Try niacinamide My pore holy grail is Hylamide - Pore Flush I use this as my toner and it SERIOUSLY work!! See my previous review on this! What is your favorite pore product? 💭
Part 2 Oily Skin
10 do's and don’ts from dermatologists💦 DO wash your face every morning, evening, and after exercise. While washing, resist the temptation to scrub your skin, even to remove makeup. Scrubbing irritates your skin, which can make it look worse. DO choose skin care products that are labeled “oil free” and “noncomedogenic.” This means that products that have these labels — including cleansers, moisturizers and makeup — won’t clog your pores or cause acne. DO use a gentle, foaming face wash. Many people believe that they need to use a strong face wash for oily skin in order to dry out their skin. However, using a face wash that is too harsh can irritate your skin and trigger increased oil production. Instead, look for a mild, gentle face wash. DON’T use oil-based or alcohol-based cleansers. These can irritate your skin. DO apply moisturizer daily. Although you have oily skin, it is still important to apply moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Try a gel moisturizer instead of a heavy cream based one. DO choose oil-free, water-based makeup. DON’T sleep in your makeup. Always remove all makeup before going to sleep. DO use blotting papers and DON’T touch your face throughout the day. Although it’s tempting to touch your face, doing so can spread dirt, oil and bacteria from your hands to your face. Only touch your face when you’re cleansing, moisturizing or applying sunscreen or makeup, and make sure your hands are clean first. Highly recommend products for oily skin. Hylamide - Pore Flush I personally use this and it’s amazing!! Check out my review for details 💦 TATCHA - The Water Gel This is a great gel moisturizer. OLE HENRIKSEN - Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser I’ve used this before and absolutely love this cleanser! For oily skin with breakouts: THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay is a cult favorite and I’ve used a lot! Great for oily skin. Mamonde - Rose Water Gel Cream is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used for my oily skin. Hope these tips help! Do you want to see a specific skin struggle in part 3? ❤️

Help-I don’t know what to do!
Please help! I need some advice, I have used the same couple products for over a year- CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Witch Hazel Toner, and Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer I would break out from time to time (due to hormones and touching my face at work, I think) so I recently introduced some new products into my routine. I started using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for acne The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%for a few dark spots I have on my hairline and Hylamide - Pore Flush for blackheads on my nose. I have noticed my skin has only gotten worse. I have a few little pimples on my nose and around my eyebrows and has developed some cystic acne on my chin. Should I stop using the new products or continue using them and see if they help? I have been using the new products for about two and half weeks now.

Morning Routine for Glowing Skin
🌸⚡️🌸DISCLAIMER: my skin is currently red from waxing it yesterday🌸⚡️🌸 🌸⚡️🌸This is also my face without any product on to show how well it makes your face naturally glow! 🌸The Ordinary is the main brand I use and let me tell you they are so amazing!! If you haven’t tried anything from them, I highly suggest you do! 🌸Products I use in order! 🌸Squalene Cleanser: ⚡️I really like this cleanser because it leaves your face extremely soft! It definitely doesn’t remove all makeup when I use it at night, but it does a good job. If you have extreme acne though, you will have to pair this with another cleanser. 🌸Hylamide (ordinary): Pore Flush ⚡️This is a spray that literally CLEANS your pores out. I spray this on and rub my hands. When I take my hands off my face they are covered in blackheads. I highly recommend this! 🌸Niacinamide 10% and Zinc: ⚡️I thought this wasn’t making a difference in my skin until I started only using it once a day. I always use it twice a day now as I feel like it keeps my pores and bumps from acting up. 🌸Azelaic Acid: ⚡️Let me tell you all, this is the BEST PRODUCT EVER for red skin. My cheeks used to be extremely red and this cream literally cancels out the redness completely. This is my favorite product. 🌸Milani Prep and Brighten Rose Oil: ⚡️This oil is a bit greasy so be careful with it. I usually mix it in with my moisturizer to combat that, but otherwise it provides such a pretty glow on your face. 🌸Moisturizing Factors: ⚡️This moisturizer is THE BEST moisturizer I have ever used. Not only does it moisture my face, but it calms it and helps prevent acne. This moisturizer is literally amazing. Any questions just ask! Thanks for reading 💖
