Your Skin But Better In A Bottle!
Here’s a little background on my skin. She’s a high maintenance b*tch that likes to suck my bank account dry. Boujee on a budget it? 75% of the time for her that’s not the case. I hate her for it. I can’t stand that my skin looks so PERFECT when I applied Pat McGraths skin fetish foundation because this little bottle cost me $68 plus tax!😵 It looks so amazing that I bought two bottles: shade 5 a light neutral undertone for when I’m fair in the winter and shade 14 a medium neutral undertone when I’m the most sun kisssd in the summer. With these two bottles I’m also able to customize my shade when I’m in between shades during the year. Now to be honest I don’t wear makeup everyday. 90% of the time I’m bare faced. I usually put in makeup if I’m going somewhere special such as an event, on a date, feeling creative or when I need to remind myself that I’m still that b*tch. So I’m actually okay with spending a little more on a nice foundation because I know it’ll last me a long time and if it’s worth it. So the question is..is it worth it? For me YES! I bought her toward the end of summer 2019 and it has served me well through the changing NYC weather and my ever adjusting skin. Whether my skin was really dry or slightly oily the foundation sat on my skin perfectly throughout the day. It’s a nice medium coverage foundation that can be built up or sheered out depending on the look you’re going for. 1/2 to 3/4 or a pump is enough for me to get a sheer/light natural coverage where it looks like my skin just the imperfections have been discreetly masked. To get full glam coverage I can get away with one and a half pumps then not even a beauty mark in my face will peak through! In my profile picture was the first time I used the foundation and I really sheered it out because it was a hot summer day. That day I got a little oily in my t zone but the foundation lasted all day. I don’t really blot or powder because I like the dewy look on myself but also I don’t because I’m lazy and I forget and most of the time at the end of the day I genuinely don’t care haha! In my last picture that I added in this post was when I was feeling creative and really used a heavy hand to apply the foundation. In that post I DID NOT PHOTOSHOP OR BLUR MY SKIN!!!! All I did was adjust the lighting in light room and added a filter to make the three images to blend better. But I couldn’t believe how airbrushed my face came out. The proof is in the pudding. I think it shows how far you can go with this foundation.

Doja Cat Bestfriend inspired makeup look
Y’all I tried recording this but um I’m new to the whole makeup tutorial party and i just don’t got it down yet 😭 I listed the products that I used it’s basically same products for my face as always. Side note: umm i actually hate that Sephora palette but I made it work 💀. Trust me it’s really just a shitty palette but that’s the only eyeshadow palette I own that has a lot of colors. Ok bye 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
e.l.f.-Hydrating Camo Concealer
This foundation is everything and more! It has light to medium coverage. I have dry skin and it does not cling to my dry patches. It’s long lasting and has a skin like finish. It’s just a beautiful formula! Worth every penny! I will save it for special occasions though. 🙈

My go-to foundation 💭
Have you ever found a foundation that feels and looks like silk for your face? I’ve been using Pat McGrath Skin Fetish foundation for over a year now and I really love the finish it gives. It’s very buildable and I usually go for a more sheer finish but you can build it up to about medium coverage. The consistency is thin which allows you to build more and more and it sinks into the skin rather than sitting on top. I haven’t experienced accentuated texture or pores and my skin appears glass-like and is smooth to the touch. Retails for $68 - 1.18 fl oz PAT McGRATH LABS - Sublime Perfection Foundation

My Favorite Spooky Season Eye Look
🔮 Spooky Season is my favorite time of year and I love wearing some spooky makeup. I don’t really have the face to pull off really elaborate or dark makeup so I go with something a little more minimalist. 🔮 This look takes me about 5 minutes to create and packs a little bit of a punch without being too dramatic. 🔮 I start with a neutral brown in the crease and the outer corner of my lid as well as on the lower lash line. I like to use Freckle from the Natasha Denona Biba Palette, but any neutral brown will do. This also looks good with a warm brown or an orange. 🔮 Next I use an eyeliner pen to do a wing. This goes to plan about 50% of the time. 🔮 Next I use a pencil brush to apply a green shimmer to my inner corner and along the lash line. The particular one is Jeffree Star Supreme Frost in Money Honey, but Jeffree Star is a flaming racist so don’t support him. Makeup Forever, KVD Beauty, and Natasha Denona all make great green shimmers and green highlights. 🔮 Then just add some mascara and you’re done!

Best Skin-Finish Foundation for Combination Skin
Finding a skin-finish foundation for combination/oily skin can be frustrating! They all seem either get too oily throughout the day or are waaaaay too matte. So what would the perfect skin-finish foundation be? It would... have a satin, skin-like finish medium, buildable coverage feel lightweight on the skin longwearing And I found the foundation that checks all those boxes, the PAT McGRATH LABS - Sublime Perfection Foundation . The formula is hydrating and a beautiful skin-finish, but it doesn't leave me looking oily! It doesn't feel like your wearing any foundation because it's so lightweight, it blends into the skin like a dream and the coverage is a medium buildable coverage! It's a dream come true. The shade range is equally distributed and covers all shades! I wear this foundation year round and it works no matter if it's 100° or 56°. I think this foundation takes on the primer that you use, which makes it extremely versatile! If you need extra hydration then use a hydrating primer, if your looking to keep oils at bay then a mattifying primer will do that without completely removing the glow from the foundation. With all those positive points I know you're wondering where the "but" is...well it costs $68. It's not the most expensive foundation at Sephora, but it is in the top 10 most expensive. It is 1.18 oz which is a little more than standard in most foundations, but it is a high end foundation so you are paying a bit for the name! Despite the price I will repurchase this foundation, it's looks beautiful on the skin and feels good too! #CheriePartner
