First things first, follow me to see more content like this😘💖. Let’s talk about Billie. Billie, “The New Body Brand”, is a company that offers a razor subscription, among other things. You can pick from a few different colors such as dream pop (the one i have), coral, cool blue, blush, and periwinkle. The subscription is $9, that is super cheap compared to other razors. So what comes in the box? You get your razor, two five blade razor refills, and a magnetic shower holder. In my opinion, that’s a lot for $9 and they always have free shipping🥳. You can also choose wether you want the refills (4 refill blades) delivered every month, every two months or every three months (which I did because I only really shave once a week). Now let’s get into my experience. So I’m not going to lie, I saw some bad reviews about this razor but I had already gotten it so I was like “just try it”. THIS RAZOR IS MY HOLY GRAIL✨. Let me tell you, I will not go back to Gillette razors. Let’s talk pros and cons🥰. Pros✅ smooth shave😍 (no tugging) no razor bumps😍 doesn’t slip out of my hands blades are super sharp (nice close shave)😍 magnetic shower holder😍 the color is so cute 😍 Cons🤢 the charcoal shave soap does get goopy🤢 blades are a little too close (hairs my get stuck)🤢 blades are a little annoying to put on🤢 I highly suggest this razor. I feel so smooth after I think it’s a steal and you can also add other things to your subscription (shave cream, makeup wipes, dry shampoo and lip balm). But if you just want the razor it’s $9 how ever often you want the refills to be delivered and again free shipping 🥳. It doesn’t get any better than Billiebillie - Billie Razor
Sensitive Skin Body Care
Usually if you have sensitive skin, it doesn’t just affect your face. Eczema, hives, and dry itchy skin can strike anywhere. These are my tried and true body products to keep my reactive skin hydrated and calm (plus a new buy!)~ 💟Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Body Scrub Just used this tonight for the first time- smells fantastic (I got lavender + coconut milk) and gives a gentle but thorough scrub. My skin feels soo smooth! My body definitely needed this. So far no irritation but will keep this updated 🙏🏼 🧼Dove - Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar This bad boy eliminates a plastic bottle in my shower and is super easy to travel with. Not only does it not exacerbate eczema, but it actually helps to hydrate it! It’s also perfect for shaving as the lather is so creamy. 🪒billie - Billie Razor So many tout this as more effective than drugstore razors, but I honestly don’t find the results that different from my old Venus Embrace. That being said, the shave from my Venus Embrace was sharp as hell and Billie is about half the price, comes with a shower magnet, and the shave bar is hypoallergenic- so it’s a no brainer swap for me. 🧴Eucerin - Skin Calming Lotion for Dry, Itchy Skin This is a nice fragrance free, lightweight lotion with serious soothing power from colloidal oatmeal. I love that it’s not super thick because it lasts me longer and is a breeze to apply. Gently rubbing this into eczema or sunburns provides almost instant relief! PS~ nothing here is over $15! And the lotion is the only thing over $10!
billie vs gillette venus 🪒 razor comparison!
shaving - one of those necessary evils. i have very sensitive skin (literally thin skin!) that cuts and scars easily. i also have fairly fine hair on the legs and armpits, so i don’t shave that often. but when i do, i want to make sure that i’m getting a smooth shave that’s close but not too close. all in all, both billie - Billie Razor and Venus Gillette - Venus Mint Handle are both solid products. i have used a venus razor for years and have found it to be effective. a few weeks ago i got a bad cut from shaving and decided to try something different. i did have to make a good effort to remember to change my blades, since dull blades are often the culprit for nicks and cuts. that’s one reason why i like the billie system - it’s a razor subscription service, so the razor cartridges are auto-shipped to you on a schedule of your choosing. the billie razor has more blades that are thinner than the venus razor (see the pic), and billie is slightly wider. i got a smooth shave from both, but i felt that the billie shave was just a hair (😉) gentler. side by side, i do think that the billie razor is slightly better manufactured. it has more weight to it, and i prefer the magnetic shower holder to the plastic molded unit provided by gillette. they are pretty comparable in terms of price - both starter packages include 1 razor handle and 2 cartridges, and you’ll pay $9 for billie (on their website) vs $13 for venus (at target). for the refills, 4 billie razors are $9, and 4 venus refills are $10 for the standard offering and $18 for the sensitive offering (at target). if you like the simplicity of a subscription refill and are looking for a more aesthetically fun product, go with billie. if you like the ease of being able to pick up cartridge refills at most drugstores and big box retailers, go with venus.
are these viral razors worth it? 🪒
for my whole life since i started shaving ive been struggling with ingrown hairs and irritated skin. i just used whatever my mom bought, and i figured that could be the problem. i used some techniques i found online, like using shave cream, finishing with cold water, and using an anti acne treatment to help. it did help a little, but i fiund my skin was still breaking out where i shaved. i saw these viral razors that clamied to fix all that. they have five blades that are nicely spaced out, and the razors are infused with charcol shave soap. i had REALLY high hopes for this razor, i even bought the shave cream too! unfortunately, i am disappointed. first of all, they do give u a really close shave, so illl give them that. the shave cream is pretty nice too. i didnt get any cuts even with a brand new fresh blade, so that was good. unfortunately, this razor gave me the WORST razor burn ever and made my skin very irrtated. i had tons of ingrown hairs and acne because of it. so, i would say although this razors may be good for normal skin, for someone who has sensitive skin or shaves in delicate places, these razors simply do not work. have you ever tried them, what do you think? billie - Billie Razor
How I remove body hair
billie - Billie Razor My currently go to removal of body hair routine lands on my Billie Razor. My favorite things about the razor include the soothing and moisturizing strips on top of and below the razor blades, they leave the skin feeling soft and definitely not as dry after shaving. I also love the shower holder for the razor, it’s very convenient to just stick it up in its holder after using instead of leaving it on the side of the tub or in the soap dish I use this razor to shave my legs, armpits, and bikini area as well. My body hair tends to be on the lighter side color wise and not very thick. This razor easily removes the hair, leavin minimal to no razor bumps. The only time I really notice razor bumps is if I possibly went too long between switching the blades and the razor is dull. I’ve tried at home wax kits over a decade ago and it was TERRIBLE, I’m sure things have some a ways since then but I’m still wary of giving it another go. I’ve also tried salon waxing and while it is nice it’s just not in my budget to have done regularly. I can usually get a month out of each razor too, but I don’t shave daily so for someone who shaves a lot more than I do it might not last them a long time Overall this is easily my favorite razor, even compared to dollar shave club which I’ve tried as well. I definitely plan on continuing to purchase refills for my Billie!
I’ll never buy razors from the store again 🙌🏼
I know this isn’t a typical skin care product or makeup or hair product, but these are too good not to share with you guys. I stumbled across Billie razors about a year ago I would say? It’s a razor subscription service that has saved me sooo much money on the typical razors I used to buy. Side note, I am a Laser Technician and have been getting certain areas treated at my job so I’m hoping to ditch the razor completely ONE DAY😂 but I wanted to share these with you guys who maybe aren’t on the Laser Hair Removal wave yet, and are looking for a better razor. My old razor sucked and I found myself spending so much money on them each month. With Billie, you can get the razor shipped to you and your first one comes with 3 razor head replacements. Then, they ship you just the razor head replacements with 4 refill blades in each pack and you can customize it to I believe once a month, once every two months, or once every 3 months! Depending how long each one lasts you. They also have an amazing shaving cream that I’ve been repurchasing as well and really helps with razor bumps. Also, not to mention, their colors are so cute to choose from! What’s not to love about a cute razor that actually works and gives you a good clean shave? Definitely give this a try if you’re looking for a new razor and want to save money 🤍 #billie #razor #shaving #CherieCreator
