Tangle free hair with minimum breakage!!
So your hair is all knotty... before you go crazy with your hair brush, watch this video! 1. Soak your hair in leave-in conditioner. You don’t need a ton but this really helps. My favorite always is the OUAI - OUAI Leave-In Conditioner 2. Start by combing your hair using a wide-tooth comb. You want to work from the ends upwards. Be gentle! Quick short strokes 3. Once you are able to section your hair. Switch to a Wet brush - Wet Original Brush 4. Spray each section with detangler. I can’t get enough of amika: - The Wizard Detangling Primer 5. Same thing as before. Brush from the ends up. Quick fast strokes. 6. Once the tangles are gone, finish off with hair oil gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil Be gentle, be patient! Breakage is causes hair to be shorter and thinner. Let’s avoid that!

Gisou Hair Oil
I have had my eye on the gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil for a long time, the packaging along with its claims to "rebuild and repair your hair with the power of Mirsalehi honey" drew me to want this oil despite its hefty price tag, but let me tell you, I think it's worth the money. For a long time I believed that a hair oil is something that you should save on. After all, it just goes on the ends of your hair to provide some extra hydration right? I was wrong. This oil comes in a thick consistency which transforms into a lightweight oil when you rub it in your hands and throughly your hair. When my hair is damp, I start on my ends and work up to the middle of my hair stands, staying away from the roots. This oil is very concentrated, so you only need a little bit of it to cover most of your hair, but I found that when I put it too close to my roots my hair starts to look oily, despite feeling very soft and dry. On the website, Gisou lists a bunch of ways you can use this product, including mixing it with a hair mask or using it as an overnight treatment, but I haven't gotten around to trying out either of those yet. From years of swim team and constantly straightening my hair for a while, I struggle with dry and weak hair that often breaks off, as well as split ends. After using this oil, my hair feels so soft and hydrated!! Even now when I am on vacation and using the hotel shampoo and conditioner and not using many of my usual hair products, I feel like this oil really makes my hair very soft, shiny, and manageable in the humidity that I'm currently in. The only reason I took off one star is for the price, and since I just started taking hair oils seriously I beleive that there may be another oil out there that might have similar results with a smaller price tag, but for now I can confidently recommend this hair oil!! I have the small size right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if I bought the larger size when I run out, which probably won't be for a while since a little bit goes a long way.

best & blah hair products @ Sephora 🌟
BEST & BLAH 👉🏻 Sephora Edition 😌🙌🏼 We all know the holy grail products we can find at Sephora. For me, I flock to the shelves for Ouai, a haircare line quite popular in the IG community 💡Before trying out their line, I was always skeptical of the value in their products. Come on, is this really worth it? I was an avid fan of it's a 10 haircare - Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product , my holy grail for my wavy, thick hair (which, is extremely damaged!) I could always count on that single product after washing my hair to smooth my hair and aid in softening my ends. Eventually, I had to try out Ouai haircare. After bleaching my hair to its absolute end, I knew I needed to find quality products when it came to styling my hair. My hair had always been picky with the products it uses, especially when it came to styling products. Sticky, thick and too drying formulas turn me off. So, when needing to find my “best and blah,” I knew I had to put Ouai in the hot seat. 1. OUAI - OUAI Wave Spray This one left my hair tacky, even with a minimal amount of product sprayed on. My waves weren’t much defined as they would be without this product. This one is $12 (small bottle) at Sephora. Worth it? No, not in my opinion. A better alternative is NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - Beach Babe Soft Waves Spray . 2. OUAI - OUAI Volume Spray Hmmm.. perhaps my hair is thick enough to have volume already. Nevertheless, I was not a huge fan of this volume spray. I used it before blowing my hair out and all it did for me was add more product onto my hair, no volume. Worth it? No 😭 I tried my best to like this product but I can’t bring myself to pay $26. 3. OUAI - Dry Shampoo Foam A NEW DRY SHAMPOO FAVORITE! I love this formula (mousse-like) and the smell. It leaves a refreshing and cooling feeling on my scalp. Worth it? YES. I’ll definitely be buying this again, worth the $28! 4. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil This is a great hair oil, don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the packaging, the consistency and the result of my hair after smoothing this into it; HOWEVER, $46 doesn’t sit right with me for a hair oil so is it worth it? Not for me. 5. eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer I enjoyed the smell and lightweight spray of the nozzle, offering a lighter application of the product. But, too much and your hair gets STICKY. Beware of the amount you use. If used right, it’s worth your time. Worth it? $12 for a great heat protectant is worth it to me! 6. gisou - Propolis Infused Polishing Primer Ehhhh, I couldn’t find the value in this for me. I heard a lot of people talk about their hair feeling smoother after styling once using this; however, I personally couldn’t notice a difference. I loved the creamy texture but I can’t purchase it again. Worth it? $34 isn’t worth it for me 😭

How to Fix Hair Static ❄️
I have thin, straight hair so when winter comes and I need my little hat, my hair goes wild! But why? ❄️ What is hair static? ❄️ Hair static is when your hair gains an electric charge. This can happen from friction and a change in humidity. This makes the hair pieces separate from each other and of course adds challenges for styling. Generally this happens more in the winter due to the low humidity. Here are some tips to prevent this! ✨Use a hair oil My favorite one is my Gisou. It is lightweight and made with honey so it is very hydrating and helps me with flyaways and general hair frizz even when it is summertime. This doesn’t leave hair heavy or sticky and I feel like this always makes my hair look and feel better. Not to mention it smells amazing! This comes in a mini and full size and is now available at Sephora. Also it’s so luxurious and the glass packaging is gorgeous. This has three sizes now, the mini is $25 and 0.7 oz so that’s probably a good place to start but I purchased the 1.7 oz for $46 and LOVE it. I will be purchasing the full size too. ✨You can buy anti-frizz sheets This is a new discovery for me and I haven’t tried them yet but rather than dryer sheets which are not meant for your hair, these sheets have things like coconut oil in them and are meant to be used on flyaways and the hair line to help with static. These can be found on Amazon! ✨Use hydrating hair products This could be your shampoo, conditioner and even the occasional hair mask but these will also help a lot with static. You’re going to want to avoid any drying products as well. I personally love Olaplex products because they repair hair from the inside out and smell so good 🍓 This is 8.5 oz and $28. They also have a cute holiday set out for $60 which has the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and bond smoother. Also, when styling your hair, make sure to use a heat-protector which will lock in the moisture! gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner #CheriePartner

Miracle in a bottle! Thanks Gisou Team!
#gifted Did you know Gisou in Persian means “women’s hair”? PRODUCT: @gisou Gisou is a honey-based haircare line found by @negin_mirsalehi who’s products are enriched with ingredients derived from her and her family’s bee garden (beekeeping has been in her family for SIX generations!). Gisou believes honey is a magical elixir due to its amazing benefits: 🍯 Honey is a natural humectant, which means it attracts AND retains moisture and therefore balances the natural moisture in your hair. 🍯Honey has a blend of minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. The most important minerals found are calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. 🍯Honey contains antioxidants, which is great for slowing down ageing. Antioxidants help eliminate free radicals in the body AND supply nutrients for new tissue growth. 🍯Honey is anti-bacterial (helps with acne) and anti-inflammatory (helps soothe skin) MY THOUGHTS: I was SO excited when Gisou reached out to me to try their highly popular honey infused hair oil because I’ve had my eye on it for quite some time! I hadn’t purchased it yet because I have thin, fine hair that gets oily quickly if I apply any hair serums or oils. With that being said, this oil COMPLETELY took me by surprise when I tried it because it didn’t make my hair oily at all! It has the most lightweight and silky texture I’ve ever felt and it adds the perfect shine to your hair without making it look oily. I use this oil every time I wash my hair now and I’m absolutely loving the results! My hair feels smoother, healthier, and shinier. The scent of this oil is like no other in my opinion. I’ve literally never smelled anything better in my life, it smells so dreamy! It’s hard to explain with words but it’s a lightweight, somewhat sweet yet fresh and floral scent (That’s literally the best I could do in terms of describing the scent lol). SIDE NOTE: All Gisou products are cruelty-free. Thank you SO much #gisouteam for my lovely gift!
