GRWM FOR BED! DRY SKIN ROUTINE.
. . Welcome to my bathroom ladies and gents! This is my most successful night time skin care routine yet! At this time of the year I see a huge increase of dryness in my skin. Plain and simple, IT SUCKS. I’ve finally found a perfect routine for my skin! My routine consists mainly of layered hydration and products to help even out my skin tone and texture. Check out some of the products below. seiso JBEAUTY - Fuwafuwa Foaming Cleanser $38 for 200mL 6.7 fl oz - the best cleanser for dry skin! I use this am and pm! + HOLLY GRAIL!! Omg!! + foaming cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin! + made with special ceramides to really help boost hydration. + one pump only! Little goes a long way. + foam turns into a silky cream texture. + baby soft skin! + I expected this to only help with my dry skin, but it’s also helped my acne! *this was gifted to me, but I would honestly invest in purchasing this on my own. AVERR Aglow - Luminous Complexion Toner $45 for 4oz - use am and pm. + keeps my acne away and brightens my skin. + not drying at all! + gotta shake it before using, mix it up! + black color and even shows up black on cotton round. + has made a big difference in my skin with skin tone and acne. + doesn’t sting, burn, or cause itchiness. - pricey for such a small bottle. - I end up using too much since it’s just a regular bottle top and just pours out. seiso JBEAUTY - Pure Ceramide Concentrate $155 for 27ml - this is the key product to balancing my dry skin. + repairs the skin barrier and replaces Ceramide loss. + apply onto damp/wet skin. + I use the tiniest bit in my palms and pat it into my skin. + feels like and looks like water until applied onto the face and it feels like a cream like moisturizer after it starts to sink in. + IMMEDIATE HYDRATION. *this was gifted to me, but I would honestly invest in purchasing this on my own. Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir $16 1 fl oz - my favorite vitamin c serum! + noticeably brightened my skin! + light almost bubbly like texture more in the watery side. + I apply this at night only and continue to see it working to fade my acne scars. + super hydrating + since it is a serum and oil mix the vitamin c lasts longer. + will repurchase this! seiso JBEAUTY - Ceramide Moisture Milk $95 for 50 mL 1.7 oz - love this for layered hydration! + soft and silky texture. Smooths right over skin. + one little pump will do! + added hydration for my dry skin. + reduces inflammation and replenishes hydration. + overall really calming and luxurious feel. *this was gifted to me, but I would honestly invest in purchasing this on my own. Stay on the lookout for my AM routine soon! I have more reviews for products I did not list on my profile. What’s your PM routine like?

Will definitely be a repurchase in 2020! This fourth ray vitamin c serum is such a unique texture. It’s an oil suspension which makes it hydrating instead of tacky on application. Fourth ray has great formulations for one of the most reasonable price points I’ve found at 15. I would compare them to the ordinary in this regard. This and their remedy niacinimde serum are my two favorites! This should be good for any skin type and doesn’t irritate my skin at all the way some vitamin c serums can. MYTH BUSTED! MIX THESE INGREDIENTS OR NOT?
You know what zodiac sign you’re compatible with, but do you know what skincare ingredients in your routine are compatible? Vitamin c + Niacinamide To mix or to not? Hmm YES! Layer these bad boys up in your routine. (Obviously don’t go overboard, but yes apply these both) The beloved and most sought out for serums have an iffy relationship. You can mix these ingredients together, but there is some things out there that state you shouldn’t or that you should do so in caution. Here’s why! Let’s break it down and get to the point. * Vitamin C protects the skin from free radicals and works towards brightening dark spots, scars, and the overall skin tone. This is best used in the morning to protect from free radicals as we go through our day. ALWAYS wear SPF with Vitamin C! Vitamin C will increase sun sensitivity, so please further your protection with SPF. * Niacinamide is an anti-inflammatory that brightens and promotes a more even skin tone, improves skin elasticity and texture! It’s a Holly Grail tbh. On top of all of that it’s also great to fight free radicals damage and pollution. Using Vitamin C + Niacinamide together? Niacinamide is “said” to cancel out all of the good properties of Vitamin C! BUT there are plenty of studies that show there is NO HARM in using these together. These two serums together can be a powerhouse combo We love these ingredients and need to use them in our skin care! You still can! How to use vitamin c and Niacinamide in your routine: use one ingredient in the AM and one in the PM. Try applying Vitamin C in the am (with spf!) and Niacinamide at night. This way you’ll still get both ingredient’s FULL benefits, but without irritation for reactive or sensitive skin. space them out. You need to let each serum absorb into your skin and allow some time in between applying them and they should not be layered right on top of each other. * this is only if you really feel the need to apply both of them* The results: using these can help uneven skin tone, skin elasticity, texture, and dullness of the skin. So if you plan on using these ingredients together, check out my two favorite below and featured in my photo. Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir This version of vitamin c is a mix of a serum and a face oil, so you’ll have to shake it up to mix the two together. + this is light in consistency and absorbs nicely into the skin. + not tacky or sticky. + smells great + ACTUALLY WORKS. My favorite one yet! + lasts longer than most vitamin C serums (shelf life) + $16 GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum This GM serum is among the best and very affordable. + light weight and absorbs well into the skin + has a sticky texture, but is gone after it absorbs into the skin. + smooths our texture and brightens skin. + 10% Niacinamide + layers well with other serums and skincare. + $6

Radiate Vitamin C Serum
I’m a huge fan of vitamin C I believe it should be apart of everybody’s daily skincare routine! You can use a vitamin c serum in the morning to protect the skin or at night to repair the skin. If you use any vitamin C serum you have to wear spf, vitamin C is light sensitive and the spf will help the vitamin C from oxidizing from the skin. What are the benefits of vitamin C? Vitamin chelps brighten the skin, reduce redness, it promotes collagen production, and protects against free radical damage and pollution. There are so many options of vitamin C serums and so many different price points too. You just have to find one that works for you.

Fourth Ray Serums!
If you’ve seen some of my other reviews you may already, I enjoy fragrances in products. I think they can make me want to use a product before I can see results. However, if you are not a fan of fragrances these are not the serums for you. I have been using these for about a month and have seen some pretty good results so far. I apply all three at once, one dropper full of Rainfall, and two drops of Avocado & Aloe and Radiant. Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum This is my least favorite of the three, I feel like a basic hyaluronic acid serum does not have to be that expensive. Instead I recommend the Ordinary’s 2% hyaluronic serum + B6 as it is almost a third of the price and adds B5. I love the scent of this serum but it’s a bit much for such a basic formula. It does a good job of bringing moisture to my skin but is a bit tackier than the Ordinary serum I recommended above. I generally feel like I have to use a lot (too much) of this serum to cover my entire face each time. I just don’t think this serum is worth it especially considering its price and ingredients. Fourth Ray - Avocado + Aloe Double Shot Face Serum I would like to say that this serum does not smell like avocados or aloe, which is great because I do not particularly enjoy the smell of either. The scent instead is fresh, more generally plant like, but pleasant all together. This is jam pack with phytonutrients which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. This serum feels nice on my skin and leaves it nice and nourished. Biggest con of this serum is that the bottle gets super oily and can leave a mark on fabric or paper depending where you store it. Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir This is by far my favorite serum of the three. I have seen a lot of improvement in the brightness of my skin since I started using it. I have seen acne scars fade and developing acne scars going away before sticking It smells like oranges and definitely has to be shaken well to be used properly. I like the formula as it is not too oily and feels like a serum still. Top ingredients are natural sources of vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and turmeric (all of which have skin tone balancing benefits. Biggest con of this serum is that the bottle gets super oily and can leave a mark on fabric or paper depending where you store it. I think for 0.5oz of each of these, $15 was definitely worth it. Give them a try and let me know what you think of them!
