IL MAKIAGE — worth the hype?! Day 3
IL MAKIAGE — worth the hype?! Day 3
Picture 1: No foundation... Just so y’all can compare and contrast, ya feelssss? Picture 2: Layer 1! Medium coverage. Still stand by this. Very easy to blend... very breathable... and now that I reeeeally look at it, kiiiinda lighter than my skin lol! Also, note that this didn’t cover my breakout on my chin very well (same as yesterday’s post). Picture 3: Layer 2! Full coverage. Feels like absolutely nothing is on my face, if I’m being completely honest. BUT I’m not in love with how my face looks. This foundation is super matte (and I’m more into a natural finish with medium coverage), and after I put this 2nd layer on, I started noticing a very powdery look around my nose and on my chin. Kinda like I have dry patches and it’s clinging to my dry patches except I don’t have dry patches, soooo.... what’s that about, yo? 🤔 In conclusion, I think I’m done with this trial. I’m honestly not down to spend that amount of money on something I only sort of like. However, if super matte, lightweight, blendable, buildable, and breathable is your jam, go for it, girl!! The matte is just too matte for me... so I’m sending her back to her home. Toodles, IL MAKIAGE! It’s been reeeeeeeal. ✌🏼 Xoxo Xenia Oh! And I forgot to mention in the other posts: I used a sponge to blend my foundation out, in case anyone wanted to know. 😊 Products used on my face: 💁🏼‍♀️ Primer e.l.f. - Puff Puff Primer 💁🏼‍♀️ Foundation IL MAKIAGE - WOKE UP LIKE THIS 💁🏼‍♀️ Brows ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara

NYX - Vivid Brights Eyeliner The nyx vivid brights eyeliners are no go for me, not sure if it’s because im using it wrong or what but they always crease and break apart. Let me know if this happens to you too! e.l.f. - 18 Hit Wonders Eyeshadow Palette I LOVED these beautiful colors are so bright, very blendable and just great overall, they do have a big of fallout but i could care less about any fall out tarte - Maracuja Creaseless Undereye Concealer VERY thick product, unfortunately i got a shade too light but still work very good, does not crease just make sure you set it quick after blending laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow This product is OK, it does last all day the only downside is it is very drying and if you want a glowy look i wouldnt recomend. #vans #nyx #abh #lauramercier

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brand Spotlight
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brand Spotlight
💕Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) and I have always had a love love relationship! I’ve rarely came across products that I dislike by them, they are usually good quality for me! I decided to spotlight the brow products specifically during this post, to decide which I like & don’t like! This was one of the first prestige brands I ever purchased from, so I could have some popping brows! 💕Each product does something different, there are some similar but overall they do different things to work together! There are pencils, pomades, powders & gels! I personally prefer the pencil & gel pomade since they last soo long & don’t move anywhere! The color pay off is very nice & pigmented as well but easily blendable. 💕What are the claims? •Brow definer; it is a triangle tipped retractable pencil to outline & fill in brows. •Brow wiz; an ultra slim retractable pencil for precise detail & creating hair like strokes. •Dip brow pomade; a smudge proof, waterproof pomade formula that performs as an all in one brow product. •Brow powder; a two shade brow powder compact that creates a natural brow. •Clear brow gel; a clear brow gel for all hair colors, that sets, defines & holds brows in place all day. •Highlighting duo end pencil; a double ended matte & shimmer highlighting pencil •Dipbrow Gel; a highly pigmented, water proof, long lasting formula that sets & stays for hours. 💕My personal faves are the dipbrow gel & brow wiz! I feel like my brows come out so nice & sculpted & stay all day. They are both super easy to use & I like the slimness of each. 💕My least favorites are the highlight product & brow definer, I feel like my brows aren’t sharp enough & arent slim enough when I use these so I don’t tend to go towards them! The dip brow & clear gel & powder is all okay! I wasn’t disappointed but wasn’t in love. 💕My final thoughts? I would recommend this brand to anyone & everyone looking to try some new brow products! I love the range of different items they have, they have to have something for everyone! The shade range is nice & all products come in a wide range of colors. The products are all priced between $18-24 so I think they’re worth it! One product usually lasts me several months at a time. Which will you try?!😊 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Eyebrow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo #ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel[products]#[ThreeStars] ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Highlighting Duo Pencil

Brows! I love brows and it has
Brows! I love brows and it has taken me a bit of trial and error to get what works for me. So carrying with gameofglows I have picked out my favourite brow products. glossier Boybrow, great all rounder not too dark and just adds the right amount of natural definition. hourglass Arc Brow Volumizing Gel. Adds great column to brows. Applicator has long and short bristles. anastasiabeverlyhills Dip Brow with the no. 12 brush. My favourite brow promade. It takes the smallest amount and it stays pretty waterproof. I line and do stokes with the pomade and the spoolie at the end helps shape and lighten the pomade. revitalash This eyebrow serum is amazing! I over plucked and lost a lot of eyebrow hair with pregnancy. I was about to micoblade my eyebrows but got recommended this before I I went down that route. It took about 6 weeks to really notice any difference but once it did start stimulating growth it grew quite a lot. I tried a cheaper product and I regret it as my brows now don’t look as good.

Concealer’s For My Full Makeup Routine
Hey guys! Here is a little look at a full face routine that I do when I have the time. I love this look! When I do wear makeup I usually do this. Here is my list of products that I used for this look BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector L.A. Girl - La.Girl HD Pro.Conceal -Fawn L.A. Girl - La.Girl HD Pro.Conceal -Reddish MAC - Mineralize Concealer -NW45 BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion CC Palette -Medium Deep Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation -Tiramisu BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion Soft Focus Finishing Powder -Milk Chocolate Finish BLK/OPL - True Skin Perfecting Stick Foundation 15 -Ebony Brown REVOLUTION - MAKEUP REVOLUTION Loose Baking Powder -Banana Deep BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion Contour Palette -Dark to Deep BLACK RADIANCE - Color Perfect Highlighter Palettes -Sunkissed Glow SEPHORA COLLECTION - Colorful Wink-It Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner - Waterproof ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade -Ebony JORDANA - Classic Lipliner Classic -Coco Loco JULEP - So Plush Ultra Hydrating Lip Gloss -Polished I ran out of my NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray !!!! As you can see I used bullet points to emphasize the concealers I used and yeah, lol it’s four of them. I know to some it may seem like a lot but I honestly feel like I need it! Especially where my hyperpigmentation is and my under eye darkness. I’m working on my skincare routine to start from root and I’ve seen progress but it’s taking time. Tbh, these mask and being incredibly stressed have done quite a number on my skin. The BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion CC Palette is used when I am looking for the finest detail on my face and I want an even complexion everywhere. I am usually doing a full coverage routine if I use this palette. My red tinted concealer from L.A. Girl is great for my dark marks and under the eye as well as going on top of my damn mustache (threading appointment soon, believe me). I use the other L.A. Girl concealer and my MAC concealer for highlighting. I love using them both for the pretty, light and lifted effect it gives for my eyes. I’m still working on application but I definitely see a difference when I use both. Absolutely any tips and suggestions and feedback are incredibly appreciated. Thank you!

Eyebrow Mistakes I’ve Made
Eyebrow Mistakes I’ve Made
I used to try to recreate the Instagram brow because that was really popular when I started to get into makeup. It made my brows look so dark and boxy. It looked so unnatural and didn’t look well with my brows or makeup look. I used to use the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown because my hair was ombré then, so my hair was darker than it is now, so it doesn’t look as good now. But it was $20 so don’t want to waste it, just trying to use it up now. It’s very pigmented, lasts all day, doesn’t smudge, lasts forever because you need so little product. I’ve found it’s hard to make this look natural. I also purchased the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brush 12 Dual-Ended Firm Angled Brush at the same time as the brow pomade and it works great! The spoolie is the perfect amount of grip to brush the hairs into place, but isn’t scratchy. The brush part is great for using any brow product and has a great amount of control. I’ve found running the spoolie through my brow again helps blend the pomade in better and look more natural, but it’s still pretty harsh for my liking. . I’ve recently been into trying to find a more natural brow and have brought out my ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Dark Brown. It is pigmented for a powder product, it’s easy to go light though and to build up the pigment to the desired intensity. It fades naturally throughout the day and looks very natural. The lighter shade (middle swatch) is for the beginning of the brow and the darker shade is for the tail of the brow (swatch on the right). This creates an ombré effect that gives a more natural look! This is a great deal because you need only a little amount of product, but I think you could get the same effect with using eyeshadows. . #CheriePartner
