Gothic Queen 👑 🖤 🎃 Morticia Addams Who? 😜☠️
Halloween is just around the corner and thought I’d share this easy Halloween look I did today 👀 This Halloween look is relatively easy. All you need is a black wig, a black top/dress, a smokey eyeshadow palette and a black lipstick. 🖤FACE •Goths don’t seem to like the sun so choose a foundation that is 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone. I used KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Foundation in shade 52 medium neutral •Avoid bronzers and opt out for a light blush. •Set everything with a finishing powder. I used KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Finishing Powder 🖤EYES • ALWAYS prime the eyes. I am loving KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Shake Primer High-Impact Invisible Eyeshadow Primerlately • I used twig from ABH Sultry palette as a transition shade then I applied slate on the crease. I dipped in to noir to deepen the crease. For bright inner corners, I applied cyborg. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Sultry Eye Shadow Palette •I cut my crease with tarte - Shape Tape Concealer •I applied diva from the Jaclyn Hill palette all over the lid MORPHE - Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette •I used soul from the Illuminati x Isa palette on top of the diva shade •Tightline with black eyeliner and smoke it out for that goth look •I used KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Linerfor a mini wing •For intense lashes, I used house of lashes in temptress wispy 🖤LIPS •I used KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Everlasting Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipstickin wizard. 💕 Favorite Eyeshadow Palette 💕
My skin type is oily with the occasional breakout and dry spot. My eyelids are typically oily, but with the use of eyeshadow primer, I don’t have an issue with creasing until about 8-10 hours of wearing my makeup. This product is intended to change the color of the eyelids and make your eyes pop. The third and fourth picture are of my makeup freshly applied. The fifth picture is of my makeup after 10 hours after wear! There is hardly any creasing and the colors are still vibrant! I bought this eyeshadow palette as soon as it was released fall 2018! I love the color scheme, the bright sparkles and neutral mattes are the type of products that really call me 😍 ABH eyeshadow quality is like no other, her shades are so smooth and highly pigmented, especially this palette. These shades hardly need any product for the eye look to turn out bright and eye catching! There are so many stunning combinations you can make with this, plus the pop of pink is fun! The quality of these shadows is like no other, they’re so soft and easy to work with and intensely pigmented and blend great, plus stay all day! Those are all the reasons I love this product and it’s my fav eyeshadow palette ❤️ They shades can be a little powdery, but nothing out of the ordinary! I would def recommend this eyeshadow palette, or any of her others ones if you prefer those color stories better (except Prism, I’ve heard you either really love it or hate it). This eyeshadow palette is definitely worth the extra $$ (it’s a great brand!) and the little amount of time it takes to get the formula and look you want! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Sultry Eye Shadow Palette Price: $45 for the eyeshadow palette (but was limited edition so no longer available, unless you buy on EBay, etc.) Rating: 5/5

Anastasia - a professionals dream!
As a professional makeup artists I love Anastasia’s products! When they first started launching palettes a lot of people criticized the formulas saying they were hard to work with. I absolutely love her formula son the other hand, they’re powdered and pigmented and definitely need a lot of skill to use correctly. I find them to be amazing for so many different looks my favorites are the Sultry and Nirvana palettes because I love the diverse colors they have! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Sultry Eye Shadow Palette Now I don’t think they actually make this highlighter anymore because it’s from when they first launched as a brand, I have it in the shade “so Hollywood” and it’s absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect gold color for my skin tone and let me tell you it’s blinding!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
