SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask A thick, creamy mask that infuses great hydration into the skin. This mask can be used in a variety of ways: as a wash off mask, a sleeping mask, a spot treatment, an under eye cream, a moisturizer, or a primer. My favorite way to use this mask is as a wash off. The thickness of the cream makes me, as an oily skinned girl, a bit nervous to use as a moisturizer because I worry it might clog my pores. But, as a wash off mask, it really does hydrate well and I can definitely layer it with other products well. BIODERMA - Sensibio Mask This mask is ultra-gentle. It has a simple formula that’s fragrance free and works well with all skin types. The consistency of this mask is perfect for my skin. It’s not too heavy, so I find it to be really hydrating without feeling like it’s suffocating my skin. This mask is part of a Bioderma line specifically formulated for sensitive skin, so it’s especially amazing when my skin feels irritated. It is a wash-off mask. VERDICT The jet-lag mask is a cult favorite and superstar product. It really hydrates the skin. Bioderma does the same, with gentler ingredients and at a much lower price point. When compared to Jet Lag, the Sensibio mask has a much lighter consistency, but still infuses the same amount of moisture. I find that after using both, my skin feels soft and plump. However, sometimes when I use Jet Lag, my skin gets irritated and I get little red bumps within a few hours (only sometimes, but it’s something to keep in mind). This has never happened to me with the Sensibio mask. Based not only on results and efficacy, but also on price comparisons, I have to say that I prefer the Bioderma Sensibio mask over the Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask.

Dry/Dehydrated Skin Routine
Sometimes when I use too many clay masks or skip my skincare routine a few times (hey, life happens) my skin can get super dehydrated. In those instances, I like to use a simple, but effective routine to infuse hydration into my skin. This can be used at any time, and I do it whenever I need to (if my skin is super dry, I’ll even do this a few days in a row). Step 1 – Cleanse fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I always start with a cleanser, and the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is my favorite. It is very gentle, and effective. It has a light cucumber scent, which doesn’t bother me at all, I quite like it. I find that when my skin is dry, it tends to overproduce oils, so I like to cleanse it well, but I also want to make sure my cleanser isn’t stripping my skin. Step 2 – Hydrating Mist YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha I have a lot of face mists that I filter between, but this YTTP Adaptogen Mist is my current favorite/go-to. This one is very hydrating and soothing and gives an extra layer of hydration before I go in for my hydrating mask. Because hydrating masks usually form an occlusive later over your skin, using a mist before will give an extra boost of hydration. Step 3 – Hydrating/Soothing Mask BIODERMA - Sensibio Mask If my skin is feeling both stressed and dehydrated, I like to go for this Bioderma Mask as it is so soothing and also makes my skin feel plump. This has a super simple formulation that is fragrance free with very hydrating ingredients, so it always does the trick for my skin!

Nothing’s healing your dry skin? The answer.👇👇
Can’t heal your dry skin and don’t want to spend a fortune? 🤔 Clinique Moisture Surge or Moisture Surge Intense? I tried them both and here are my thoughts for you❤️ Awaiting your feedback and questions✍🏽🌺 CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator I feel you. I really do. I’ve been there and learnt it after trying endless products with top reviews. 🤯🤯 I get you. You don’t want to spend a fortune on a product that’s not guaranteed to work for you and your skin looks dull, damaged and super dehydrated. The answer? After consulting a dermatologist, I’ve been told that I have a rare type of eczema that accentuates during winter and when I’m stressed, resulting in white flakes and redness. I was referred to Bioderma and Uriage. URIAGE - Roséliane Anti-Redness Cream SPF30 BIODERMA - Sensibio Mask . They first seemed to work until my skin grew resistant to them. Same old problem again...😔 And it wasn’t until one of my business trips that I met a cream that would soon become my BFF. 🥁 🥁 ladies and gents.... CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator saved my life!!!! I apply it in the morning and at night after washing my face and putting my eye cream (another post will follow) and my face becomes super soft, dull free, full of life and it lasts for the whole day. The best part of it? I’ve been applying it for almost 2 years now and my skin still loves it😍😍 texture, not too strong smell and lingering effect💃🏻💃🏻 The best part is that its price is reasonable for its effects and it lasts for a fair amount of time. Plus, once your skin is alive once again, you can use it less and replace it with other creams once per day or for the whole summer, like 🌺l’oreal hyaluron expert🌺 or the The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' and save more money🎁💫 Now to CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator , I bought it this summer as I couldn’t find the CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator , and I realized it doesn’t stick long to your skin and you will need to apply a generous quantity compared to CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator . For those out there that don’t suffer from a dry skin, this one will work for you. Plus, don’t risk using a hydrator that’s too strong for your skin type as you might change its texture and make it get used to strong products. Don’t forget that skins are too greedy and always ends up asking for more😉 🌺🌺🌺🌺 Love, M❤️
