Your Lipstick is not just “Lip” stick
Under normal condition, if we’re out, we’ll carry a lipstick and maybe a finishing powder to refine the makeup. However, in this hot summer days with masks on the face, blush is also needed refining, let alone eye makeups. The fact is that eyeshadow palette and blush is usually taking up space. Have you ever tried to use your lipstick to replace blush or eyeshadow? I love using my CHANEL - ROUGE ALLURE VELVET Luminous Matte Lip Colour#627 to do this. Chanel 627 is the limited edition of this spring term, I’m lucky to get one from the offline shop before it gets popular. The sales recommended strongly this color to me. It cost me $40, but really wow me. The color is beautiful, special and gorgeous. The texture is smooth. I love the formulation and the matte finish it gives me. It will not give me the dry feeling. It’s also very long-lasting and I love the slight scent. I think it suits all skin tones. 627 could also become my blush and eyeshadow. You can see the pics I attached, just smear 3 points of 627 with your fingertips onto your cheek, then slightly spread it over. Just a little lipstick could give you the slightly-drunk feeling! In addition, it matches your lip color. If your cheeks are oily and the blush is easy to drop, you could try it. I love “red” eyeshadow so 627 is also perfect to be a matte eyeshadow. After using the base color, smear 1 point onto the corner of eyes with your fingertip, and spread it. The color could make eyes look deep and big. The most important thing is that, the cheek and eyes’ finish look of 627 is very natural, my bf never doubts that I use the wrong makeup products. Do you have stuff that could server as other makeup products besides its original use?

My Pink Parade
Spring has sprung but due to the present situation (lockdown) we can hardly spend time basking in the parks. Nevertheless, this is the perfect time to workout and to dedicate on good skin rituals. I can talk about this for hours on end but today let me just tell you 3 of my favourite pink-hued lipstick for spring/summer. Rouge Allure Velvet- Chanel. 43 This is one of my favorites because as the name suggests, it is extremely velvety and glides easily on any skin type. Lips have the most delicate skin and must be taken good care of. This particular hue of pink is very chic and can be worn with any attire. It has great smell and is very lustrous. I also feel this shade can complement any skin tone. One has to know, though, it is not as MATTE as the rest in this list. CHANEL - ROUGE ALLURE VELVET Luminous Matte Lip Colour Matte Candy Yum-Yum- MAC MAC definitely has the most frequent celebrity collaboration. Well, Candy Yum-Yum is a very peculiar pink and not for all I believe. It is a very vibrant bright hue of pink and can be sometimes difficult to match up with. Nevertheless, this is one of my favorites as how I like to wear it is by BLENDING. Yes! Blending lipsticks to make it more ombre or toned down is an art I learnt from Korean beauty bloggers. Koreans have, at the moment, the best skincare products and the dewy soft looking makeup is a must try. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick Istanbul- NYX This particular shade is the first NYX lippy I got from Sephora few years back and it has been in my must have collection ever since. It is also another lip liquid that glides gently and lustrously on your lips. The pink MATTE hue is of the softest touch amongst all of the above. It can also stay longer than the rest of them. NYX - Soft Matte Metallic Lip Cream

COCO 🥜 CHANEL BEAUTY ON TOP
Years ago, I wrote my college entrance essay about Coco Chanel. I saw her as a big inspiration for challenging timeless looks and a pioneer for empowering women in regards to fashion. After graduation, my mom surprised me with a trip to Europe. Needless to say I bought a few things during my shopping spree with her. Chanel’s famous natural finish loose powder, Chanel N°5 and a beautiful pink lipstick. 💄 There’s always a place in my heart for a cute shade of pink. It’s an elegant pink that gives you an extravagant brightened look. The texture of the lipstick is smooth and the finish is matte. Pigmentation is strong but seems to last longer when applied with a lip brush than when you just use the lipstick itself. It lasts about 4 hours without any food or drink. 🍔 🍷 The lipstick is $38 which is pretty expensive for just lipstick but it’s still a luxury buy under $50. I haven’t been able to find a cheaper dupe for it yet. With the money you’re spending on this lippy, it’s justified for the compliments you’ll be receiving on a lovely set of pink lips! 👄

Lip Stash: Lipsticks
As a lover of lip products, it makes me sad that face masks have rendered my collection useless. So, I figured I’d show off my stash here :) Part two is ~lipsticks~ 💄MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick Shade: Kinda Sexy A great matte peach nude color that is SO summery with a clear gloss on top. Smells like vanilla, 10/10. 💄CHANEL - ROUGE ALLURE VELVET Luminous Matte Lip Colour Shade: No. 5 My newest addition and a replacement of my Fenty lip paint in Uncensored. A beautiful neutral (a bit blue toned) red lipstick. Not as in-your-face as my Fenty which IMO makes it more wearable. 💄NARS - Audacious Lipstick Shade: Liv I *love* this deep plum color. It’s so edgy but also somehow super wearable. I break it out on as many occasions as possible! My dad one time said “you don’t need to make your lips so dark..” to which I responded, “of course I don’t need to. I WANT to!”
MAC vs. Chanel: Berry Lips
I seriously love dark, wine-stained, berry shaded lipsticks! I picked up these two shades to add to my collection, and you can probably tell from the pictures which one gets WAY more attention from me. Let’s start with Chanel’s Rouge Allure 108, I picked this shade cause it looked fairly dark and pigmented in the tube; unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver as much color as I had anticipated. Nevertheless, it’s a great, easy to wear lipstick, and I am quite fond of it. It glides on effortlessly, isn’t drying and has decent staying power. This shade is highly wearable and great for a casual look. I haven’t got much use out of it cause I tend only to wear lipstick when I want a little more va va voom. MAC’s Cremesheen in the shade Hang Up is excellent if you’re going for a vampy look. This lipstick doesn’t feel super smooth on application, it definitely feels heavier on the lips compared to the Chanel tube. But what I love about it is that the color really pays off! This shade is all I want in a dark, berry-esque lipstick. It offers full coverage with one application, and if I want a little more intensity, I can layer it. That being said, it doesn’t play well with eating and drinking, it transfers easily and does require re-application throughout the night, which I don’t mind but can be a downside for others. I’ve also found it to be on the drying side, so I would highly recommend a decent lip balm underneath. To sum it up, for the looks, I’m all about my MAC lipstick, for the feel, Chanel is the clear winner!
