Tatcha Serum Stick 💜🔮
Tatcha Serum Stick 💜🔮
This product claims to be a concentrated solid serum of 80% squalene (an ingredient I love! Great for hydration!) and Japanese lemon balm to target signs of aging and dryness. They say it smooths dry, fine lines which is why I have been using it under my eyes. I have really bad lines under my eyes that concealer seems to creep into no matter what I do. At first I was going straight in with the product which I find deposits too much product (it’s also way too large for the eye area. I almost wish they had a smaller version for this). I was finding throughout the day my concealer and foundation was gathering weirdly in places I applied the serum. Eventually I ended up swiping my finger across the product and applying it where I wanted and I’ve noticed it goes on a lot better. I wouldn’t say it’s been a miracle but my concealer has looked a little nicer lately. That being said I’m not the ideal person for this product and I do know this. I have oily skin. This product is targeted towards those with dry skin or those with dry patches. I feel like those who have dry skin will love this! It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and glides on easily. They claim it locks in moisture over time to alleviate dryness. I also have a weird dry patch on my neck from which I’m assuming is my eczema and I’ve been using it on that and it feels a little better. It feels moist on the skin so I can’t feel the dry patch anymore even though I know it’s still there. That being said I’ll probably continue to use this product under my eyes until it’s gone but I don’t think I’d purchase the product (which is $48). If you have dry skin I would recommend trying this out! I think the squalane in it will be amazing to smooth out dry patches on the skin. But that being said I don’t have that often enough for this to be useful to me. I’ve also experienced zero break outs or clogged pores with this product which is a plus. I think it’s a good product, just not for me. This is more for people who need a pure boost of hydration.
