What Else You Need to KnowBarrier-replenishing ingredients niacinamide, sodium PCA, plant squalane, ceramides, omega fatty acids, and antioxidants rehydrate hungover, parched skin, making it soft and supple and improving visible signs of damage and uneven texture and tone. Vitamin F beads deliver extra emollience and soothing hydration. This mask is free of essential oils, silicones, fragrance, PEGs, and irritants. Drunk Elephant is committed to using only ingredients that either directly benefit the health of the skin or support the integrity of their formulations. The brand focuses on healthy pH levels, formulations the skin recognizes, small molecular structure that’s easily absorbed, and effective active ingredients that also support the skin’s acid mantle. All of their products are designed to be mixed together—what Drunk Elephant calls making a smoothie. (This is true for all of their products except their sunscreen, Umbra, which sits on top of the skin, protecting it from UV damage.) The result is skin that is reset to its happiest, healthiest state. Drunk Elephant is a supporter of IEF (International Elephant Foundation) and is cruelty-free.

My Favourite Hydration/Moisture Products
Hydration and moisture are so, so important! I had the most oily skin for years and it never occurred to me to use a cream- so when I found my oil production subsiding a bit after introducing a hydration serum and moisturizer, I was amazed. Excess oil production can be the skin trying to moisturize itself via sebum. Here are my rec’s: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster contains such a variety of humectants that I consider it a hydrating serum. Hydrating while also balancing oil production, this is amazing for every skin type. stratia - Liquid Gold is packed with emollients and some humectants, making it a good serum for dry skin and the perfect moisturizer for oily skin. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum helps to reduce oil production but primarily gives skin the hydration it craves. This is a good serum for all skin types but lacks the emollients to be a moisturizer. DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask is the perfect cream to use after an acid if your skin is sensitive. It’d be a great moisturizer (thanks to squalane) for oily skin and is a nice add-on for dry skin. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream worked for my skin when I was an oil slick and it saves my flaky face when my eczema goes Sahara desert. This fluffy moisturizer is perfect for all skin types, though dry skin in the winter may need to add an oil. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is a hydrating serum that is just what dehydrated and/or oily skin needs- however I’d caution users that hyaluronic acid can be drying if you live in an arid environment. It also doesn’t have the most elegant texture, so give it an extra minute to soak in! PAULA'S CHOICE - Probiotic Nutrient Moisturizer moisturizes without shine, managing to be rich yet soaking in very quickly. It may be a bit too light for dry skin in the PM but oily/combo skin will love it. PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum If you have sensitive, combination, and/or dry skin, buy this. It contains emollients, humectants, and is perfect for soothing skin. Oily skin will also likely enjoy this serum for its surprising lightness, but in my experience it is too light to be used as a moisturizer.

F-BALM Electrolyte Waterfacial! 🐘 @drunkelephant newest product made just in time for thirsty winter skin! Moisturizing & hydrating mask has the texture of a soft lotion and can be used in your routine as a last step or mixed with any of their other products! 🐘 Made up of tiny beads that implode on application! - 2 fatty acids - niacinamide - squalane - ceramides (5 varieties) maintains skin barrier - anti-oxidants - sodium pca (holds & maintains hydration level) - prickly pear 🐘F, is in reference to two essential fatty acids: linolenic and lenoleic acid. ‘Vitamin F’ is great for nourishing, hydrating, moisturizing, and repairing! This is an intensive repair mask for severely dry, parched skin. Results: this morning my skin felt extremely hydrated, soothed, & plump! This mask is a powerhouse! I had even toned skin as well! I layered it on top of a toner & serum! I used 3-4 pumps to cover face & neck and woke up with plump dewy skin!! She is definitely a winner and as a fan I already knew it would be a good one 🤗POWERHOUSE!! P.S I am a HUGE fan of D.E because of their ingredients & formulas. My fall skincare routine! 🍁🍂✨
Summer’s over and here comes fall! Drier and cooler weather means my skin will get more dehydrated and I’ll need a different skincare to keep it healthy. During this time I like to use brightening serums to get rid of my small dark spots that have appeared during summer/being out in the sun all the time. My face definitely feels the cool air and I need more moisturizer to keep it soft and not dry. I love starting off with my kiehls ultra facial cleanser. This never fails. It never strips my skin, it removes all the makeup I’ve been wearing and if I’m bare faced it doesn’t remove my natural oils. It’s a liquidy gel consistency and has a small cleansing scent. This is one I always recommend to people. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser I follow with the Sunday Riley ceo vitamin c brightening serum. I started with a sample I received in my Sephora order and fell in love with it. On my forehead I had a small sun spot and over time this helped fade it out. I was incredibly impressed! This didn’t dry out my skin, it actually gave my skin moisture. The texture is more of a liquidy moisturizer. It has a faint citrus 🍊 smell that I love. It also didn’t cause a reaction on my sensitive skin! SUNDAY RILEY - CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum After I apply moisturizer on. This elf holy hydration cream is one that I’ve been loving a lot this year. It’s one I keep rebuying, this is my third purchase! Super soft and lightweight. This kinda melts into your skin a bit. This feels amazing on my really oily forehead and dry cheeks. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream Next is eye cream. I’m currently using the glamglow bright eyes illuminating anti-fatigue eye cream. This is an ok product. I got this in a Ipsy bag. It’s a little thick, which most eye creams are, and it feels nice. It moisturizes my under eyes really well but I don’t see the “anti-fatigue” affect. Nothing wrong with this product but I’ve seen similar or better results with more affordable ones. I wouldn’t repurchase this. Tip✨ use eye cream to apply on your upper lip. That skin is also fairly prone to wrinkles as well so might as well use the cream to help prevent. GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream On days that my skin is extra dry or I want some radiance I use the drunk elephant f-balm electrolyte water facial cream/mask. I try to prevent my skin getting too dehydrated by using this every other day. This is a lightweight product but omg this has incredibly hydrated my face a lot. It has small little beads that melt on skin contact. This doesn’t have a smell which is great. DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask Don’t forget about lips! I’m currently finishing up my fresh sugar lemon 🍋 lip balm. It hydrate my lips nicely. It’s not one of those sticky balms, it glides on and doesn’t dry out fast. fresh - Sugar Lemon Hydrating Lip Balm

🚓🚓🚓911? Drunk Elephant is the Saver🚔
Sometimes my skin is dull or dry after long-working hours or staying up too late. What should I do if I have a date or interview? I am so glad I found the F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masque Hydratant from Drunk Elephant DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masksince it can save my skin back. From the instruction of the product, it is used as an overnight mask but I find it useful as an instant hydrating product. It contains antioxidants and omega fatty acids and they work together to rehydrate parched skin, making it soft, smooth, and supple. More importantly, it improves the appearance of skin texture and tone. It also contains vitamin F, which delivers further hydration and emollience to the skin. You will feel your face rebooted after applying it. What if your face is puffy because you drink too much water at night? You can add several drops of caffeine (I recommend the caffeine essence from Ordinary) into this masque and apply a 10-minutes lymphatic massage. First, applying gentle pressure beneath your ears with your index and middle finger in the soft indentation behind your jawbone and loop back in a J motion. Then, moving to the middle of your neck and chin, and repeating the same motion. Next, move to your eyes, move from your sides of the nose to your eye sockets, and end the motion to the spot where your cheekbones meet the outer corner of your eye. After this, massage the side of your face, which moves the excess liquid through your lymphatic vessels. Lastly, rub 5 times at your brows and move your fingers to your forehead, then massage in the center. This massage not only helps you to reduce puffiness, dark circles under the eye, but also lessen the frequency of breakouts. Applying with the masque from Drunk Elephant, you no longer need to worry you will wear a puffy face to have a date! The price of it is $83, totally worth it!

Drunk Elephant: Worth The Hype?
🐘 If you’ve ever so much as googled skincare you’ve likely heard of Drunk Elephant. People have been losing their minds over this brand for years now and every product they release seems to be accompanied by a plethora of raving reviews and cute instagram pictures. But are they worth it. 🐘 My experience with DE has been about 50/50. Some of the products have been AMAZING and some have been disappointing and for the DE price tag I do expect it to be at least within the range of amazing. So here’s one win and one lose for me from Drunk Elephant. 🐘 WIN: C Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream..oh my god am I picky about eye cream and my god did this live up to the hype for me. This makes my under eyes INCREDIBLY soft and noticeably firmas, plumps, and brightens. This eye cream retails for $64 and contains 5 types of vitamin c, 8 types of peptides, and antioxidant rich cucumber. I have dark circles and sunken looking under eyes and this is one of the only eye creams that has ever made a difference for me. It’s a rich creamy texture and I strongly recommend. 🐘 LOSE: F Balm Electolyte Waterfacial Mask...I was so bummed out about this. F Balm is a hydrating mask containing fatty acid rich Vitamin F, soothing Niacinamide, and 4 hydrating electrolytes. I loved the ingredients but this did nothing for me. This retails for $52 and is a lightweight cream texture...however it’s so light it just kind of vanishes when I put it on my face...it doesn’t even really make my skin feel soft it just kind of...disappears and I feel like I need a moisturizer afterwards. Definitely not worth it for me.

Do I Need a Skincare Fridge?
In short. No. BUT!! It’s a nice luxury. I was fortunate enough to receive a cute lil skincare fridge in PR around a year ago and yes I have used it the whole time. I like to store my gel products, mists, vitamin c, sheet masks, Rose quartz roller and eye creams in there. Especially for a hydrating mask like DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask or GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask it just feels so soothing and kills inflammation when you have it cooled (same as an eye cream like DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum ). A cool mist like the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist feels so soothing and ultra refreshing in the fridge too. One reason why I might say it’s close to a necessity, would be that it prolongs the shelf life and prevents early oxidation of pure vitamin c serums that contain l Ascorbic acid like OSEA - Brightening Serum or DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum . But at the end of the day, if you are properly storing your skincare out of the sun and heat, it will stay in its best form. The fridge is just a luxury if you’re a hardcore skincare fanatic or have chronic puffiness and need your products cooled ❤️
