Extra gentle, and oil-free. Contains no drying alcohol. * Fragrance-free 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Glycerin (humectant) Petrolatum (occlusive) Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Soybean Sterols (emollients) 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬: hydration for sensitive skin —————————- One of my favorites💜 I have used this lotion for years. Occasionally I will try another moisturizer but then always go back to this. Works wonderful as a gentle everyday moisturizer and in calming down the skin when irritated by other products. The lotion is light, creamy and has no scent overall which I enjoy. It is very easy to blend and easily absorbed by skin. I love to use it in conjunction with the Neutrogena water gel (Hi Dr. Dray fans!😁) Both products are great for oily skin, doesn’t leave a greasy film and doesn’t feel too occlusive. It’s also very budget friendly, only retails around $10 for 4fl oz. and also available anywhere! Would highly recommend! Solid product overall. —————————- 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *some users reported having experienced burning/irritation while using this product. Please do a patch test before putting in the face☺️ *has parabens

My Skincare Routine
I’ll go into detail about each one in separate posts, but this is everything I use as a collective. The only thing that isn’t pictured are my cleansers, I use Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser for the days I exfoliating or need something more gentle. I love how light the scent is, and how easy it is on my skin, but if you need something more acne fighting, I would suggest something stronger since this product is all about cleaning. I’m still learning what type of cleanser is for what type of skin, but it’s a gel consistency and has a nice smooth and thick texture, so I believe it’d be great for oily/combo skin types. I also use a turmeric brightening cleanser but can’t remember the name and I’m away from home. 😊

Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub - my go to daily cleanser ST. Ives - BLACKHEAD CLEARING GREEN TEA SCRUB - I have enlarged pores and this product helps with smoothing and minimizing my pores. I use it 3-4 times per week & it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - I use this product daily to assist with minimizing my pores. Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture - I love this moisturizer. I use oil free as to not affect my last extensions. It goes on really smooth and leaves no residue. MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea - My go to daily facial spray. Some people don’t like it, but I live for it. I removed the toner from my daily routine as my skin is usually drier in the winter months. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄❤️

Current skin care routine
This is my current skin care, I work in cosmetics so I feel like I have a decent knowledge 🤷🏼♀️ Step 1: - I start off by removing my makeup with my BIODERMA - SensibioGel Moussant This removes every trace of makeup without leaving my face dehydrated or irritating my eyes. (I also like that I don’t have to vigorously scrub my eyes to take off my mascara) Step 2: - Next I use VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum This serum has SAVED my dryness! I’ve been addicted since the moment my boss gave me one for my gratis gift. I’ve gone through probably three bottles at this point...it’s my ride or die product ❤️ Step 3: - This is where my skin care varies; at nighttime I use the Vichy Lifeactiv Collagen Specialist[FourStars] I read that by the age of 20 you start losing collagen in your skin so I thought I’d get a head start on my skins collagen levels 🤷🏼♀️ Daytime, I use the Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture (I have the one with SPF 15) it’s not greasy or thick on the skin. Absorbs pretty quickly. Step 4: - I’ve been addicted to theTHE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream I love that it’s very inexpensive and you only need a tiny dot for both under eyes. Step 5: - Lately for acne control I’ve been using this acne treatment face oil from U.F.O that I got in an Ipsy bag. SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Acne Treatment Face Oil It seems to be clearing up acne but I HATE the smell of it so I can’t put too much on my face without wanting to gag...😬 Step 6: - I finish it all off with my DIY thermal spray. It’s basically just water with some Vitamin E oil. I used to use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Thermal Spring Water Face Mist but I figured I could make my own since I was finishing the cans very quickly.

Amazing moisturizer for sensitive skin!
Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture the product: I love this moisturizer for sensitive skin. The product is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, has no alcohol, and is fragrance free!! It’s targeted specifically at moisturizing sensitive skin, which is amazing because it’s so difficult to find products that won’t break you out when you have sensitive skin! It’s super lightweight and sinks into your skin seamlessly. In the winter, I do a few more pumps just to get a little more hydration! overall opinion: I first started using this two years ago after a big breakout. I was using baby lotion at the time and was really worried this moisturizer would break me out like their makeup wipes did. To my surprise, it didn’t and I’ve stuck with this moisturizer ever since. I love how gentle it is on my skin and how moisturizing it is. I do need a little more during the winter, but that’s as expected. It’s drugstore price also makes purchasing this not as painful haha! This product is totally worth it’s price tag. The pump makes application of the product so easy and quick! I definitely recommend this to my fellow sensitive skin guys and gals!

Newbie to skincare, suggestions please!!!
I was very lucky that as a teenager I had very little acne, mostly due to having skin on the drier side. As an adult I have had several periods of bad hormonal acne. Each time I treated it differently, one time with frequent facials, one time with dermatologist prescriptions (my favorite was the Sumadan wash which is sulfur-based) , but the cure in the end was always fixing the hormones. Most recently, I had been essentially acne-free for around three years. I would get a pimple here and there, especially around my period, but nothing that required an actual skincare routine. I used a gentle cleanser (Usually Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser ) or just water, and a simple oil free moisturizer (Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture ). The few pimples I got I would treat with MyChelle dermaceuticals - Clear Skin Spot Treatment In the winter I would add oil on and I also liked this thicker moisturizer Eucerin - Q10 Active Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream So fast forward to 2020. The pandemic causing stress, throwing my hormones out of whack, eating differently than I used to, and of course MASKNE. I’ve had a hard time getting it under control because I keep over treating it, and burning or dehydrating my skin. I also have some dark spots from the new acne, and am noticing my first wrinkles. (I also have hair and scalp problems but maybe I will save that for a different post). I have combo/dry skin depending on the season, and I have very sensitive skin ALL THE TIME. I’ve also gotten allergy tested and am allergic to fragrance and a few other chemicals used in foaming cleansers. One of my two tests said I was also allergic to tea tree oil, so I try to avoid that as much as possible as well. I have just started trying some samples of new products that I have seen on Cherie, but I haven’t taken the plunge yet to buy full sizes because I am just not sure what I need. Serums? Actives? What are those? Looking for suggestions! PS: my skin looks oily in this picture because i had just put on my nighttime oil, also this week the acne has cleared up mostly except two large pimples on my neck that you can’t see in the analysis.
