Pixi Beauty 🧚🏻 Fave or Meh?
Pixi Beauty has been a brand on my radar for a couple of years now. From being in Target to their cute mint green packaging I can see the appeal to a lot of people. I am very fortunate to be on their PR list (which is how I got the above) but that doesn’t mean everything automatically gets a good review form me. For the most part, from an esthetician point of view, the brand’s skincare is a pass for me. I think my problem with me and Pixi is the amount of heavy fragrance they include. Fragrance is just an unnecessary addictive in products that give you no benefits. It actually has the potential to increase sensitivity in your skin. I try my best to avoid it in products or make a conscious effort to use those formulated under 1% (which I’m guilty of not always adhering to because it can be difficult to find). I find that most products by them (and I’ve tried almost everything in the range) are more fluff than results. I will say though my favorite skincare product by them is the pixi - DetoxifEYE . If you want to give anything a try by the brand I would recommend this. For $24 you get 30 pairs of eye patches. These are my favorite to wear under make up as they act like a shield from fall out while they are hydrating the under eyes. I don’t feel like these slip and slide around so I can easily pop them on and go about my day. They have a very cooling effect to the under eye to help depuff. Ive used the pixi - T-Zone Peel Off Mask and pixi - Glow Mud Mask to multi mask before and hated it. These did absolutely nothing for my skin. Not to mention how bad in general peel off masks are for the skin and the Glow Mud Mask is so heavily fragranced it’s not even funny. I saw no results and they’ve been sitting in my drawer ever since. Most their skincare I would avoid (though they do have a few things I do like from an esthetician point of view). They have a few gems hidden in their make up as well but I find most of it over priced for the quality. You can find better quality in the drugstore for a cheaper price which is why I’d rate it a meh.
Pixi eye masks 💚
These eye masks claim to firm, de-puff gently and reduce dark circles. They are recommended for normal skin types but say they’re gentle enough for the sensitive eye area. The texture is a hydrogel patch with a serum type liquid to absorb. Overall, I really enjoy these. They do instantly depuff my under eye area and I keep them in my skincare fridge for extra cooling. They wear well under makeup and are very hydrating. The only reason this gets 4/5 stars is because I haven’t seen a huge difference with dark circles (not much helps with mine though) and occasionally there’s a little pilling, but I would definitely recommend these and think they’re definitely worth it! They’re a pretty affordable eye mask option at $24 for 60 (30 pairs). It also comes with a nice little spoon that fits in the packaging (which we love) since they’re kind of hard to get out. Be careful if you decide to purchase, there is a fortifEYE option as well. pixi - DetoxifEYE

One of my favorite eye patches
pixi - DetoxifEYE Pixi claims these eye patches will instantly reduce under-eye puffiness & dark circles while moisturizing & soothing skin. Target concerns include dark circles, fine lines/wrinkles and dryness. These has a gel like texture that cools upon application. Essence is instantly absorbed into skin. But extra essence may run on face. $24 for 30 pairs. Buy them now! I absolutely love how these work for my undereyes! I have dry sensitive eyes prone to eczema and wanted more hydration to embrace the cold; so I tried this. After 15 mins of use, my skin looks smoother, more hydrated & more awake! Looks & feels like babies bottom! For less than a dollar a day, I can get skin like this?! Sign me up! I totally recommend these because these work! I’ve tried other eye patches and they did nothing comparable to these. Plus they are so pretty to look at too! Totally worth 5 stars and I highly recommend it!
pixi - DetoxifEYE Product Claim: Instantly reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles while moisturizing and soothing your skin (from pixibeauty.com ) Key Ingredients: caffeine, cucumber and gold Texture: gel eye patches Price: $24 – 30 pairs My Experience: Being a college student eye patches are just a crucial necessity sometimes and this one from Pixi Beauty is awesome. These gel eyepatches are super hydrating and help a ton with reducing puffiness! These don’t slide down my face either which is a problem with many eye patches I have tried. These eye patches feel super refreshing when stored in a cold temperature environment. Would I recommend?! YES! These are super effective and also reasonably priced.
Hydration for My Undereyes
pixi - DetoxifEYE This hydrogel undereyes patches is intended to depuff and rehydrate area under the eyes. It is infused with cucumber to soothe and refresh, as well as caffeine and hyaluronic acid to depuff and reduce the appearance of dark circles. There are 60 patches (30 pairs + spatula) in a jar. My overall experience with this product has been great. I have been using it for the past 2 weeks whenever I feel like undereye cream is not enough for me. I decided to try this one out because it is the least expensive option out of all on my list. I like the product, it’s so cooling upon placing on the undereyes, I keep the jar in the fridge to give an extra boost of cooling sensation. Although I don’t really see it doing any extraordinary effect to my dark circles, what I like the most from this product is the experience I got. I like to use this on the nighttime, after my skincare routine and leave it for about 20 mins before taking it off. I would recommend this product to people who loves hydration for under the eyes, and not so much for people who are looking to brighten dark circles / depuff because unfortunately I don’t see that much of a difference on that part for me. This product is worth the price for me, because the price is not too expensive either despite not doing everything it claims to do. I still very enjoy this product and will repurchase once I ran out of it. Would love to see Pixi keeps improving this product to give more visible results in the future.
