Pixibeauty... They are so generous. These GLOW ESSENTIALS have me jumping for joy! The GLOW COLLECTION has my skin ready! My skin will definitely be glowing! Step 1 CLEANSE - The Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel Step 2 TONE - Glow Tonic Step 3 TREAT - Glow Tonic Serum Step 4 HYDRATE - pHenomenal Gel Step 5 MOISTURIZE - On-the-Glow
PIXI TONIC Glow Tonic: This is the cornerstone of Pixi Skincare! It is gentle enough to use nightly and often leaves my skin with a nice tingle. It does not replace exfoliating serums such as Honeymoon Glow or TLC Framboos. But this is a nice supplement when you want to touch up your glow. Retinol Tonic: This is a great entry product to the world of retinol. The soothing jasmine flower gives this product a natural, pleasant scent. I like to use this tonic as a touch up when my skin needs a break from a heavy exfoliation or other powerhouse retinols. . Even though they are pictured together— don’t use them together! Ouch!
Overhyped - Pixi Glow Tonic
I saw so many raving reviews about this toner, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately for me, I saw no difference in my skin at all :( Even after continued use, I notice no difference. Nothing is wrong with it, it just doesn’t do anything noticeable for my skin. But I’ll also say that my skin is fairly durable (?) so I don’t tend to see changes from most things! It may be great for skin that is more receptive! I’m giving it 3/5 stars since it still hydrates my skin and seems to work as good as any regular toner. I’ll finish it, but won’t be repurchasing.
Pixi Glow Tonic Toner 🍊🍊
pixi - Glow Tonic Great Toner for dry skin! ✨The purpose of this product is to minimize your pores, hydrate, moisturize, exfoliate, brightens and smooths the face. just put it on a cotton ball or pad and apply to your face ! 🛑 the product is not harsh, Good on dry skin like mine because it doesn’t get oily or dry after applying. 💎 its liquid and smells good and it’s color is orange 🍊 🗝My experience with this toner has been good just one miss, i do have sensitive skin, and it is meant for all skin types but it irritated me a little bit, it has cleaned my face and felt refreshed but the irritation was small but just didn’t wish I had any at all, it’s mostly around my checks and nose. I decided to try this because many people talked about it and I’ve had about 4 months with it or So. Do I like it?: 👍🏼 yes it’s good , like I said it does it’s job so I saw the results just wished I didn’t have to go through the irritation although It’s small so nothing major ! Do I recommend this product?: 👍🏼 i do if only your skin isn’t sensitive , only dry face? It’s your go to! Oily? Go to! But sensitive, it will irritar a little but if you are very very cautious with your face and irritates so much even with the smallest, then NO Is the product worth it? 👍🏼 yes, I felt my face refreshed, nourished and smooth! For 15? Yes it was worth it !
A comparison of glycolic toners • Pixi is a classic and I find it a bit more moisturising compared to the other two. I would give it at 7/10 • Alpha H is a bit harsher but I find it really good for congested skin and notice an overnight difference but it is a bit drying. I would give it a 6.5/10 • The Ordinary toner is my favourite. I find it works really well even for my sensitive skin. It’s harsh but doesn’t cause my skin to be sensitised. I would give it an 8.5/10
products from pixi known as the glow kit. ⠀ Products: ⠀⠀ 1. Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel⠀ 2. Glow Tonic (Toner with 5% Glycolic Acid)⠀ 3. Glow Tonic Serum⠀ 4. pHenomenal Gel ⠀ 5. On-The-Glow Stick⠀ ⠀ I do have to say though, that when I first opened it I was shocked as to how much glycolic there was in the package. Glycolic is something that needs to be used with care. I personally also don’t use products with glycolic acid in them (mainly cause it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun) BUT if you are a huge glycolic acid fan. I think this set belongs to you! 💖 Here’s why: this is something that impressed me highly 😊 The cleanser and the toner and serum all have glycolic in them. But what impresses me is that the cream is the neutralizer. So they thought about everything you’ll use this acid in this glow kit. ⠀ ⠀ Why is it important to neutralize after using glycolic acid? Because it’s important to bring our skins pH back to normal as glycolic acid has a very low pH so its important to use something that is alkaline to bring back our normal skin pH. With that said an optimal and normal skin pH is around 5.5 (so still slightly acidic) ⠀
