Editor's NotesErno Laszlo's refreshing 'Hydra-Therapy Boost' oil-serum is packed with powerful actives that noticeably nourish skin, help accelerate cell renewal and protect from future damage. Papyrus Vegetable Sap and Sea Fennel help retain and rebuild the natural moisture barrier, while Shea Butter restores, firms and smooths your complexion.
Time for a review of the ernolaszlonyc hydra-therapy line 💦 💧Hydra-Therapy Foaming Cleanse: this is a gel-to-foam cleanser that removes makeup (ya girl loves that) while keeping it hydrated. Its key ingredients are shea butter (contains nourishing fatty acids), blend of rice&pomegranate (hydrating and free radical defying), and marula oil (restores moisture). I enjoy this cleanser so much but don’t immediately reach for it because of one weird thing: it ALWAYS gets in my eyes. I’m not sure if this is user error because I’ve used countless other cleansers the same way, but when I go to rub this along my lash line (eyes CLOSED) it never fails to get in and irritate my eyes! 😩 besides that one weird thing, this removes makeup like a charm and leaves my skin not too dry after cleansing. I wouldn’t say it’s hydrating enough to go w/o moisturizer after, but it’s definitely less stripping than other cleansers! 💧Hydra-Therapy Boost Serum: Homegirl (me) loves a good hydrating booster. I usually opt for the vichy mineral 89, but lately this one has been taking its place! I like the light, delicate scent and watery texture. Key ingredients here are papyrus vegetable sap (WHICH is said to be a complete hydration system- attracting, retaining, and protecting moisture!), sea fennel (moisture barrier), and babassu seed oil (hydrating emollient- reduces water loss from skin). 💧Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask: I pack this bad boi on when I need an extra layer of hydration! The texture is SO interesting- it reminds me of jello! No matter how deep of a scoop I make in the jar, the next day the surface is completely smooth again. It glides on like a gel and helps my skin retain moisture all night.

6 Skincare Tips from a Celebrity EstheticianIt’s been eight weeks since COVID-19 has caused us to shelter in place with the goal of putting an end to the novel coronavirus. While social distancing is playing an essential role in our health, the same can’t be said for our beauty routines. For beauty buffs, the lockdown has meant an abrupt halt to our routine visits to our facialists, dermatologists, and everything in between. What’s more, staying indoors has limited our exposure to vitamin D (which our skin needs to thrive), heeded unhealthy eating habits (which can wrack havoc on our skin), and turned us all into our very own (albeit mildly inexperienced) esthetician. To ensure our skin and well-being is taken care of during such a confusing time, we tapped into celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau. Below, she’s sharing six self-care tips to practice as you social distance.May 20
