I wanted to share with you my thoughts on this I' m From Honey Mask, which quickly has became my fave 🍯💛 I used it a few times now and I think I can already say something, what I like about it. As you see the texture is quite thick and caramel-like but it spreads on the skin very easily and unlike the raw honey, stays in place all the time and doesn't slide down. It smells a bit like a honey but not exactly, hard to tell - but for me it's quite pleasant 😊 . . But straight to the point - the results! I leave this on my face for about 45 min up to an hour and after washing off the skin is so smooth that I can't stop touching it 😆 This is the first wash off mask for me that gave me noticeable moistrue after one use. It leaves some kind of film on the skin so not sure if everyone would like it - I gently wipe my face with a cotton pad + toner, this way the skin stays moistruized but I don't feel any film on top of it 😊 This mask didn't clog my pores or break me out, instead it calmed my redness and soothed the skin. I'm curious how it will work in a long term, but for now I like it very much 💛 I will definitely try other masks from this brand! Now I have my eyes on the rice one 🍚
I’m from - Honey Mask 4.5/5 💮 Claims to moisturize and nourish - Moisturize: Yes! / Nourish: Yes Texture - Thick and sticky Scent - 2/5, smells waxy Parabens - No I recently bought this wash-off mask by I’m From. This was the first product I’ve tried from them and I really love it. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much. I also think that it’s because I’ve realized honey is a super great ingredient for my skin, so there might not be chocking results for everyone but my skin was GLOWING. I’ve only seen this kind of results on my own natural matcha-honey diy mask, which is a good sign! It left my skin really conditioned and plump, soft to the touch. You can leave this mask on for up to an hour and it does not harden or drip down your face, it doesn’t really budge which is really nice! I’m not such a fan of the fragrance and even the stickiness of it, but that’s just me. Obviously a honey mask is going to be really sticky. And I don’t like the warm sensation some of the thick masks give, but hey, again, that’s just me and it’s obvious that it’s going to build up heat since it’s a thick layer of goo on top of your skin. But the results are really what matters here and they’re amazing. Overall, it’s a super mask for my skin type.
Wash-off masks are super fun, especially those that do not dry with time or drip. imfrom Honey mask is my absolute favorite and when I saw their new launch I could not wait to get my hands on it. I'm from is one of my favorite kbeauty brands, they are cruelty-free and every product in their line focuses on one key ingredient. Recommended for irritated and troubled skin, this calming soothing mask has Mugwort as the star ingredient. Mugwort is called 'tea tree' in Korea for its soothing and cleansing action and has been used in Asian medicine for centuries. It is antibacterial, antifungal and wound healing. This mask has a thick gel-like texture (swipe for a texture shot) and you see plant pieces in it, I believe these are ground up Mugwort leaves. It has a natural herbal scent to it one that is not overpowering. The mask gives a cooling sensation to your skin once applied. They recommend applying a thicker layer over acne or irritated areas that need extra attention. It does not drip or dry and stays there as your skin soaks up all the goodness from the mask. Apart from 2.1% of Mugwort, this mask also contains healing and soothing botanical extracts like Centella Asiatica, Licorice root, Japanese knotweed, Chamomile, Rosemary and more. Added hydration is delivered with Glycerin and Panthenol. I preferred using it as an in-shower mask to protect my skin from getting drier. This was my go-to for the last few months and I loved how calm and bright my skin looked. This is an old photo, I've emptied the jar now and while I love the results I do not enjoy the experience. The ground leaves in the mask bother me, they do not feel abrasive and I feel they do nothing so I wish the texture was smooth instead. If you can look past this and focus on the results alone, do not hesitate to pick this up but like me if the overall experience matters to you then the texture could be a problem. There are so many masks available in the market so I rather buy a mask that gets 10/10 then settle with a 9/10.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
