As I am unpacking some of my stuff from boxes, I am happy to be reunited with these jurlique beauties too. The mist has become my nr. 1 mist in terms of scent, experience, application. Has surpassed my Beauty Elixir, although that is a favourite too. The serum is very lightweight, like a quench of water to my skin. Absorbs beautifully, no stickiness. Due to the refurb dust, cleaning products, etc. I feel like my skin is producing more oil, although is not as dry. I also had a few breakouts (dust), therefore I am focusing on more water-based formulations or thin in consistency.

One of my new favorite brands that I want to tell you all about is JURLIQUE! ……………………………………………………… ▫️2019 Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense Deluxe Edition-I already love this hydrating & refreshing rose-scented mist so much! If you love rose-scented products like me, this mist will become a staple in your routine too! ▫️Softening Rose Body Cream-I actually finished this cream last night because I loved it that much! It smells SO good, is very moisturizing & leaves my skin velvety soft rich! I thought I ordered two replacement bottles of it from SkinStore, but I accidentally ordered the lotion instead-hopefully I’ll like the lotion too! Definitely need a restock of this cream ASAP! ▫️Herbal Recovery Signature Serum-I will be trying this serum soon! It claims to “deliver advanced environmental protection & improves appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, loss of firmness & brightens skin’s complexion”. ▫️Herbal Recovery Signature Cream-I will also start incorporating this cream into my routine whenever I start using the serum. It’s intended to replenish, smooth & protect skin

Second installment of retinol diaries! I kept usage to 2x/week since that was working well, and I wanted to reincorporate acids without overtaxing my skin. Switched to drunkelephant a-passioni*, which I really like so far, though I still mix it with an HA serum. I did skip a week or so when I was sick, so I had a tiny bit of purging when resumed, but otherwise it was fine. Here are some of the products I used: ▪️for chemical exfoliating, I reintroduced DE framboos serum or katesomerville liquid exfolikate* (only one per night), or just some pixi glow tonic to be gentle, on non-retinol nights (combining the two will be my next test). Conversely, I'd skip all treatments (save a hydrating serum) at least once a week to give my skin a rest ▪️ then I tried a resurfacing mask, once every 2-3 weeks, either peachandlily reboot mask or DE babyfacial*, spaced out a day or two from retinol, and my moisture barrier has felt fine! ▪️ continued with lots of hydration, especially in layers like adsorb moist essence*, jurlique herbal recovery serum*, paulaschoice peptide booster*, and olivarrier squalane oil* ▪️ same for cleansing- focused on gentle/nourishing ones like glossier milky jelly cleanser and elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm* ▪️ I also resumed using a vitamin c serum in the mornings, 4-5x/week, recently DE c-firma*, and it's yet to cause any irritation ▪️ SPF all day, every day! The superscreen* by supergoop is great for days with minimal sun exposure (since you have to reapply a lot), or the coola sun silk drops since it wears well under makeup ▪️ after retinol but before moisturizer, I'd supplement with iope cica cream* when needed, great for soothing and hydration

Currently loving: the Herbal Recovery Line from jurlique!! Seriously look at how gorgeous the glass bottles look, I'm always handling them so carefully for fear of my clumsy hands dropping them (they're the most luxurious products I own for sure ) But beautiful packaging aside, I'm honestly really surprised these anti-aging products* (mist + serum) have been working so well on my skin!! I usually don't reach that often for anti-aging (as I should lol) but I really feel that they not only have helped keep my skin super soft and smooth, but also minimized my acne somehow too! I miss using them when I rotate them out of my routine (for testing purposes) especially the serum because it's so great at hydrating, soothing and calming my skin. . The Herbal Recovery Signature Serum has a lovely herbal rose/lavender scent that's not overpowering at all, and has this super lightweight but still hydrating property that I absolutely LOVE! I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm obsessed with these type of super fast absorbing serums that are at the same time perfectly hydrating for my acne-prone, combination skin. Similar to my HG Jkosmmune serum, it leaves a protective film that I can feel on the surface, maintaining hydration and preventing moisture loss. Maybe this effective hydration and water/oil balance is what keep my skin from breaking out and healing faster when it does! Features pure and organic Red Clover Flower to "enhance the role of hyaluronic acid." I can also feel a slight tightening effect on the skin whenever I use the serum which I feel it's great for an anti-aging product. . The Herbal Recovery Signature Mist has the same beautiful scent and hydrates the skin while soothing, refreshing, and revitalizing it. The mist is very fine and what I love about it is that it's not too watery like a lot of mists I've tried, it actually moisturizes! Features organic nasturtium to help even skin tone as well as a botanical blend of Japanese cedar bud, Yarrow, Viola Tricolor and Citrus Unishu peel extracts (not sure what all these are but sound lux ) So overall I am really loving both of these but especially the serum!

I am taking you through my empties, I have been saving these for quite some time, so here is my voting system: . For this post, all products are good, but some work better for my skin than others. I will kick off with the products in the 1st pic: . 💖 dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery Broad Spectrum SPF 50* - my fav SPF to date. Beautiful formula, for colder months layers really well with other products, fabulous under makeup, no breakouts, nor irritation, contains many antioxidants and anti-ageing ingredients. Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend. . ☺️ jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Serum* - a very hydrating serum, watery-like texture, made of botanical ingredients to lift and firm the skin. I would say it gives luminosity and it’s definitely a skin replenisher. Can pill at times, this can be avoided when layered with a moisturiser only. . ☺️ alumiermd Brightening Eye Cream* - a medical grade eye cream that contains stellar ingredients such as Matrixyl Synthe’ 6 (a superstar ingredient for my face, brilliant for elasticity), mushroom extract and peptides. It’s a nourishing product, that gives a beautiful radiance on the eye area, however, I feel this works better for those whom suffer with dark circles (I used this exclusively for 2.5 months), my eye area looked nice, but I have tried other eye creams performed slightly better for me. I do know people that suffer with dark circles and were very impressed with this eye cream. . 💖mgc.derma CBD Active Firming Clay Mask*, a fantastic clay mask, unlike any others I have tried, leaves my skin very luminous and nourished, however this is very pricey, and not something I could easily replace (the only con).
