Protect your skin from sun damage☀️🌝
Protect your skin from sun damage☀️🌝
The most crucial step in our everyday morning routine is sunscreen. It should be worn daily to protect our skin from harmful UV rays and help slow down signs of aging. It doesn’t have to cost you a fortune. In fact, I think the best ones out there are from the drugstore. Most sunscreens I have tried are all below $35. In this post, let me share my thoughts on some of them. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣Eucerin - Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30 combination, spf 30 | A staple product. One of my top favorites. This is a moisturizer + sunscreen. I especially like using this alone on hotter days. It’s very moisturizing. Skin may look a lil shiny after applying but fades as it settles. May leave white streaks if not blended properly. It is lightweight so it’s perfect for oily skin. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣sun bum - Face Lotion SPF 50 chemical spf 50 | this sunscreen is oil-free and water-resistant. Very lightweight and I think has the thinnest consistency among all sunscreens I have tried. Sinks in beautifully and leaves no white cast. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣DIFFERIN - Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 chemical spf 30 | affordable moisturizer + sunscreen. Good for oily skin. It moisturizes well but dries down matte. It doesn’t leave white cast. You get 118ml of product for its price $10.49 which I think is a great deal. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣CeraVe - InVisibleZinc Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 30 mineral spf 30 | Overall a good sunscreen. Has ceramides and niacinamide to provide additional benefits. If you don’t mind a lil white cast, this would still work well for you. It is non-comedogenic, oil-free so would work well with oily skin. It may pill slightly throughout the day. Does not work well for very dry skin or with dry patches. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin chemical spf 30 | compared to the InvisibleZinc, this would work better for most skin types. It dries down to a matte finish while still being moisturizing enough. It also is very lightweight - as the name implies. It comes in a 50ml pump bottle which is not much. If you’re applying enough sunscreen daily, you’easily go through it in 2-3 weeks. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 combination spf 30 | good sunscreen but my least favorite of all Cerave sunscreens. It feels heavy on my oily skin and leaves me feeling a lil sticky. This is great for dry skin but may leave white cast - especially if not blended well. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣CLINIQUE - Pep-Start Daily UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 50 mineral spf 50 | this has been my most favorite lately. It is a tinted sunscreen and I think would work well even for darker skin tone. Formula feels weightless and blends so easily. Honestly, you could barely feel it. It’s perfect for no-makeup days. It is oil-free and non-comedogenic. It comes in a small bottle of 30ml for $20, which is the only catch. But overall, awesome sunscreen. I highly recommend. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Smoothing Primer Serum SPF30 chemical spf 30 | Wonderful primer + sunscreen. I have to say I liked this better than I expected. I initially underestimated it but I eventually found myself reaching for it on days I have to wear foundation. This gives a flawless finish and even works well with powder foundation. Gives you extra sun protection plus makes your makeup last longer. It retails for $30 but I think it’s worth the price. The 30ml tube lasts a long time. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣elta md SKINCARE - UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 mineral spf 41 | has to be one of my top favorite mineral sunscreens. It comes in a tinted formula so slightly helps hide imperfections. It’s oil-free, great for post-procedure, and never irritated my sensitized skin. This is a lil heavier compared to the Clinique one but definitely still light enough for oily skin. Great for all skin types and dermatologists’ no. 1 brand recommendation, you can never go wrong with this sunscreen. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣elta md SKINCARE - UV Shield Full-Body Sunscreen Broad-Spectrum SPF 45 combination spf 45 | sheer, oil-free facial sunscreen. This goes on smoothly and sinks in quickly. Works well under makeup and does not leave a greasy residue. Oil-free and safe for sensitive skin. This may leave a slight white cast for deeper skin tone. ⁣ ⁣ I have also previously used korean sunscreens from Neogen, Cosrx and Purito.⁣ The NEOGENLAB - Day-Light Protection Sun Screen SPF 50 PA+++ has heavy fragrance so overall not a fan of it. ⁣ The PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ has a great consistency but left me with red irritated skin. ⁣ The COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ worked better but the PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block is one I really loved.

Today I’m comparing 3 sunscree
Today I’m comparing 3 sunscreen lotions made in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea - all SPF 50. 🇯🇵 Biore UV Perfect Face Milk (PA++++): This has a mix of physical (Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide) and chemical (Tinosorb, Octinoxate) filters. I really love the matte, slip feeling of this sunscreen, as it acts like a primer and absorbs excess sebum. This is the sunscreen I reach for the most because it plays so well with makeup, but it does leave the worst white cast of the 3, so I don’t wear it on bare-faced days. 🇼🇸loveisderma UV Shield (PA+++): Distributed by the same manufacturers as EltaMD but made in Taiwan, Loveisderma’s sunscreen is like a less greasy version of the La Roche Posay Antihelios Sunscreen. It has a slight tan tint which means it leaves no white cast nor sheen (though the tint is a bit too cool-toned for my own complexion). UV Shield also has a mix of physical-chemical filters with Zinc Oxide being the 4th ingredient on its list, along with brightening ingredients like niacinamide. I like that I can use this alone or under makeup, though it lacks the primer-esque qualities of the Biore one. 🇰🇷cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream (PA+++): This is mainly a chemical sunscreen (Octinoxate, Tinosorb) with a mineral filter (Titanium Dioxide) lower on the list. This also has aloe leaf extract as a humectant. This is the creamiest of the 3 sunscreens and will work the best if you have dry skin, as it moisturizes well, but leaves a slight sheen. This does not have a noticeable white cast, but the fragrance will stay on your face for a while.

Hello Hello everyone as yous all know I have transferred over to Korean skincare, 5 weeks in today and this bumps that also get dry out. If you know what this is please let me know. I have less product usage too. Please see down below my step by step now and if you have any recommendations of usage. I have chosen 5 to 4 star because I love the product. By the way I'm dry sensitive skin. COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser - day and night COSRX - One Step Moisture Up Pad - change it up only using at night COSRX - 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid - day and night (done research and it's good for dry sensitive skin to use) COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence - day and night COSRX - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule - started using again last night but like I have said to my review that when I use this it seems to make my dry bumps spots itchy or it is just me. COSRX - Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream 80ml day and night (started using last night) COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask every night last step COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ of course day use If you have a better recommendation and better way for me to use this product and if your also dry sensitive too like myself please let me know. I'm going to keep using this step and see what happen with my bumps dry spots that seem won't go and it's been 2 weeks now 😔 Thank you Kindly, JPEREZ 💛

How I finally beat my cystic acne
How I finally beat my cystic acne
Before I go into my product recs, let me just say: NO PRODUCT WILL BE YOUR MAGIC CYSTIC ACNE CURE. Sooo many things went into my journey. Finally realizing I was allergic to dairy, getting an IUD, getting sleep, etc. These products are the ones that helped me take control of when the breakouts DID happen. Please put your physical and mental health first, and remember to love yourself AND your acne. Everyone gets them! PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator This should be everyone’s HG exfoliator. The aloe vera makes this hydrating and perfect for skin thats always too dry or too oily. Salicylic acid is also the only chemical exfoliant that can penetrate the skin enough to actually help cysts. COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ CosRX is a lifesaver for me. I want to try every product of theirs! This one is my HG sunscreen, though. It’s a hybrid sunscreen that’s rich enough to be a moisturizer AND silky enough to be a makeup primer. It’s perfect for those days when your skin needs a moisturizer, but you don’t want to layer up your products, or you just want a low maintenance day routine. #e.l.f. - Happy Hydration Cream[products]# I am so obsessed with this skincare line. Gel moisturizers NEVER keep my skin hydrated for long, so I always reach for ones with a light oil in it. Hemp has quickly become my favorite, and this moisturizer is my HG for year-round hydration. COSRX - Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream 80ml Perfect to put on dry patches at night! Make sure you use a moisturizer though - it only locks in moisture! COSRX - Centella Blemish Cream Great to put on a blemish to take down the redness and irritation. ONLY use as a spot treatment at night, though. It’s more difficult to blend in than a mineral sunscreen and way too thick to put all over the face. HONORABLE MENTIONS: - Double cleansing with an oil cleanser first. Your skin will thank you. - Sunday Riley Saturn Mask: good spot treatment for whiteheads and small zits - Hydrocolloid acne patches: I don’t get picky about the brand, but I use these on whiteheads and over popped acne. Just make sure to dry/disinfect it first before putting one of these guys on, otherwise you trap all of the gross stuff in there. Overall, patience was how I beat my acne. I graduated, I moved and decided to take time off of working. I adopted yoga and a better sleep routine. I cut out dairy and limited myself to one coffee a day. I made my own easy and healthy meals. And above all, I limited my skincare to a consistent and easy routine with essentials that were no-frills. I used an exfoliator twice a week and found nourishing serums and treatments that didn’t attack my skin, but gave it some extra help. YMMV in everything I said above, but I hope I helped at least a bit!

Comparing the cosrx Aloe Sooth
Comparing the cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream ($13) and purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun ($14 ): ☀️ Key Ingredients: Sun Soothing Cream has aloe, but Centella Green Level has a lot of additional perks. It obviously has Centella asiatica to soothe, but it also contains niacinamide for brightening, hyaluronic acid for moisturizing, and the anti-inflammatory adenosine. Cosrx’s contains fragrance (which does smell like a light, pleasant mist), while Purito uses lavender essential oil. ☀️ Experience: Cosrx’s is SPF50/PA+++ and Purito’s is SPF50/PA++++. (PA ratings were developed in Japan to score UVA protection.) Neither leave a white cast and both have a similar dewy consistency - not matte, but not greasy. While Cosrx’s fragrance dissipates, Purito’s lavender scent sticks around for a while. ☀️ VERDICT: Both are fine products. I’m torn because both have their pros and cons. If you want the additional skin benefits, go Purito. If you dislike lingering floral fragrances, go Cosrx.

As you all know that I have change over and trying out korean skincare products. 4 weeks and a fews day into it and all this dumps has come up around my side mouth area. I know in the photo it looks like dry spots but it actually not, my skin is smooth to touch but can slightly feel the dumps. First 2 weeks of korean skincare of what I was using and then I change it up a bit to see any changes. All we can do is keep trying and keep using the products to see proper results. So YES! I am pushing through 😁 Here is my step by step of my first 2 weeks of products use. Morning routine COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser - This I love ( I don’t think this is causing me any breakouts or dryness so far so good) COSRX - One Step Moisture Up Pad - This is amazing it’s my hydrating toner ( I don’t think this is causing me any problems) COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence - I love this product add extra hydration to my skin especially I’m dry skin (I don’t think this is causing me any problem) COSRX - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule - I liked this product at the start but then I have stopped using after feeling itchy every time of use (please see my review about this product) where I have the dumps that’s where I felt itchy. COSRX - Cosrx Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream I’m not sure about this one, I didn’t see any changes, I’m sure there’s probably a better one than this one ( just my experience with this eye cream, hubby also felt like its doing nothing for him as well. Planning of getting a new eyecream. COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream This felt good on my skin, it did help a little bit with my hydration but not fully fully good as I was still getting that dark spots plus with all the hydrating products I’m already using underneath this face cream. This cream is also leaving me with that film kinda look patch on my face 🤷🏻‍♀️ if that even makes sense. My cousin have read and watch a lot of reviews about (snails) and it have cause some people milia and dumps like my skin so then I think this is one of the product that’s causing me the dumps so yes i have stopped using it, seen I have stopped using it my dumps have settled down and again no itchiness or dark spots. Yeh i know! What! Yes I’m still trying to work it out too, I’ll probably try use it again when the dumps goes or my skin settles. COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ Just love this (i have review) I can’t fit any more as I have reach my limit of typing 😂 evening all the same just add COSRX - AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid i use every third night and COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask Kindly JPerez💛
