GlossiYAY - 3 worth it products!
I’m branching out y’all! I have tried more glossier products in the last couple of weeks and I am pleasantly surprised. . Glossier. - Brow Flick 4/5 stars! The brow flick is a big hit or miss. This is my second time buying it because my first brow flick had to be part of a bad batch. It bled everywhere when applied and simply did not live up or perform to the standards and claims glossier had. BUT I gave it another chance and it works perfect. + comes in 3 colors. I typically use medium brown brow products, but picked up the shade BLACK based on other reviews. + easy to get the hang of. Use light strokes and focus on the very end of the tip for best thin strokes. + brush tip - be very light handed. A lot of product dispenses. - shake before using!! - if you get a faulty brow flick.. RETURN IT. Contact customer service to get a new one. Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter 4/5 stars because I wasn’t expecting it to be so tacky/sticky that my hair would stick to it. + 3 shades to compliment all skin tones. + shows up like a beautiful shine, no shimmer or glitter. + center is a balm. Outside is the color highlight. + easy packaging! + can swipe right into skin or use a finger to apply. - balm in the center can get very sticky if you apply too much! My hair was sticking to my face. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color I mean it’s the HOLY GRAIL LIQUID BLUSH. + easy to work with + buildable pigmentation + little goes a long way + apply with fingers, brush, or sponge + range of shades for all styles and skin tones - cheap packaging - a lot can squeeze out of the tube if you aren’t gentle.
Glossier always caught my heart with the minimalist packaging! Today I want to show you this Glossier Haloscope in Quartz that the hype probably has died down a bit but it's still the star of my glossy 'no makeup' makeup look! This highlighter comes in three shades, but Quartz is the one for me. It’s a champagne color, but the tone is completely neutral so it never sits too blue or pink on the skin. It comes in the form of a twist-up stick which is new for me. Most highlighters I’ve used are either in liquid or powder form. The packaging makes it easier to apply onto the face straight from the stick. The concept is like a lipstick: color as an outer ring with a core of balm inside. The outer ring will give you the shimmery glow while the clear core balm adds a nice transparent gloss top coat. The shimmer itself is made with actual rose quartz crystals! While the balm has coconut and castor seed oil to give a boost of Vitamin E. It's also enriched with sweet almond oil that's rich in fatty acids. I love how it’s hypoallergenic, paraben free, fragrance free, and not tested on animals! That definitely earns points in my book. Rather than apply it directly, I prefer to blend it over my fingers to warm up the product and then press it into my skin with my fingertips which gives me the ability to work it into my base without disrupting whatever I’ve already applied. It gives the most subtle, skin-like, glimmering highlight that melts into the skin without leaving a ton of unwanted glitter particles. Nothing too cray. It has some tackiness, so it didn’t dry down and always stay in place. If I wear full coverage foundation and full face of powder to set my makeup, I don't prefer this since it's too sheer and didn't do much to give an intense blinding glow. But for extra dewiness, you could also use this first and layer a powder highlighter afterwards. Just a word of caution to my girls with clogged-prone, oily skin… use sparingly so you don’t appear overly oily throughout the day. I think the clear balm is the reason why it might be too heavy for my skin type, so I don't use this everyday to prevent clogged pores.
Glossier.-Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter
Excited about NY, going to prep my skin up tonight 🥰, not 100% sure what mask I will use. So I have had glossier for a couple of weeks now, so have had a good play with the products. First off the packaging is spot on! My opinions on the products. 🔸Cloud paint: Really like these! Really pigmented and apply really well and last a while, even on my slightly oily summer face. The one I have been reaching for is “dusk” which is a brownish nude, and is so perfect for everyday. I apply with my fingers then buff out with an eco tools stripping brush. 🔸Balm Dotcom: These are pretty good and I like them but I wouldn’t say they are must have, I have a variety of balms that work just as well. 🔸Boybrow: love this! I have been growing my brows out and using a brow serum to help with the growth as I over plucked in my 20s and also lost some hair when I was pregnant. This brow gel gives my brows volume and gives me actual boy brows, I could be competing with my husband right now! 🔸Lashslick: Nice mascara for everyday natural look. 🔸Haloscope: In colour quartz. Very Dewy highlighter. I like it but have to be careful when I use it, it can “move” my foundation if I am not careful and if my face is oily it can make it look oilier. So quite like the products, and for the price point they are good! They are perfect for a natural look, and that is their selling point. My favourite is the cloud paints, very pigmented and easy to blend and don’t settle into pores.
YA WANNA GLOW FOR THE GODS?! 💋💫
LET’S TALK TUESDAYS TOPIC: HIGHLIGHTERS! I love a good highlighter. It can take your face from 2D to 3D in seconds! It gives any skin that model, kissed by the sun glow. I can never get enough of highlighter and the more my highlighter looks like a fresh out of the fryer glazed Krispy Kreme donut the better. There are many kinds of highlighters but the main ones that I use are creme, liquid and powder. But highlighters are not just reserved for the face hoh no mama. It can be used on your arms, décolletage, and legs thanks to products as shown above like SOL BODY - Shimmering Dry Oil and SOL BODY - SOL Glow Oil These applied on your arms, décolletage and legs make you glowy and sun kissed. 💋 I love to use these products when I’m feeling myself and showing off what my mama gave me. When the sun hits, you will look GORG! My highlighter face routine is not for those who want a natural glow. Oh hell no mama. Mine is for those who want to blind the Area 51 aliens in the sky. I like to layer my highlighter products and finish with a setting spray that has shimmer as well because I can’t have enough of glow. I like to save the best for last in my makeup routine and for me it’s highlight. It’s like the cherry on top of my makeup routine sundae. I first start with spraying my face with MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray Pearlescent Finish to get my face a little wet. Then I start with a liquid highlighter and my go to is of course the Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid . I’ve already reviewed this highlighter so please go check out my post on this. Then I go in and layer with the Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter and pat down this product on top of the future dew. Then using a MORPHE - R36 Pointed Highlight Brush with benefit - Cookie Powder Highlighter as my 3rd layer which has been my go to highlight as of late. The glow from this combo is not for the faint of heart. It is blinding! And that’s my ted talk on highlighters babe. If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading! If you liked my post, please go ahead and hit that 👏🏼 cheer! I’ve got other posts so please go check them out and give them 👏🏼 too! If you like what you see and want to get my latest posts, hit the follow mama! Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OVER 600 followers over the last week. It’s been a crazy week and getting this week’s rising star and cheerleader is INSANE! My brain can’t comprehend it at all but honestly your support keeps me going. NATURAL BEAUTY?! No, it’s Glossier. 💋💫
First ever full face look using *𝖺𝗅𝗆𝗈𝗌𝗍* one brand and today’s brand is .... GLOSSIER!! Glossier, “Beauty inspired by real life.” Well if my real life involves having perfect skin, then Glossier would always be my go to brand whenever I do my makeup. But because Glossier’s vibe is very au natural and sheer your imperfections may peek out when using their products. So on days when I don’t feel like putting on a full beat but don’t want to look dead, Glossier is my go to. Today, I’ll be doing a 6 hr wear test on my Glossier au natural face and giving y’all hour by hour check in’s. 95% of the products are glossier but since they don’t have a bronzer or contour, I’m going to cheat a little. Im not going to be touching up my face because 1, I want to put glossier to the test and 2, they don’t have a traveling powder compact. I’m not going walk around with loose powder in my bag. I’ll update this post once my complete review is done. Below is a full product breakdown: Face: Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint + Stretch Concealer Duo Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duoin beam and dusk Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter Eyes: Glossier. - Lidstar Duoin moon and lily Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Colorin dusk Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara Lips: Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duoin beam Application: I rarely used a brush for this look. I mainly used my fingers. It was like finger painting but on my face. I used a brush when I used the powder. I used the cloud paints on my cheeks, dusk on my eyes as a crease shade and beam on my lips. Review: okay. It’s been 6 hours and I’m ready to take this off. Overall I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this look stayed on. Above has a vid of the look after 6 hours. Obviously there is some separation in areas of where I wore my glasses but the forehead, cheek, and highlight area look pretty good after 6 hours. I must say the Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder is really great! The eye look has wear but the lilac color is still showing up. I give this product a Glossier. - Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow just because i had some application difficulties. If you made it this far, woo! You are amazing. I really appreciate you taking the time out to read my post and hitting that cheer button. I’m so grateful for the love that y’all have been giving me. This app has made my 2020. ❤️ Xoxo 💋 #CheriePartner
Glossier.-Cloud Paint Duo
My favorite top 5 highlighters in the summer
Hi, beauties happy Tuesday🥳 I’m a huge fan of highlighters, here are some favorites in my ”glow” collection share to you 🤗 TOM FORD - Sheer Highlighting Duo This palette has two colors are medium gold and rosy copper with warm tone , and it can be used for dry or wet applications when used dry you won't be disappointed. It gives a skin subtle glowing finish, the texture is smooth, soft, easy to work with and blend out on the face. When used damp is more opaque coverage, I like to use it on the eyelid for some eye looks. DIOR - BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette Color: 002 this palette I think it will be my favorite highlight #1, I only use it as a highlight generally I like to mix two shades together to create a custom highlight shade for all skin tone, they're quite pigmented and very intense with a metallic shine makes a skin really glowy. PAT McGRATH LABS - Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo It’s a two end stick with highlighter and a transparent reflective balm, I prefer use my finger to apply and blend the highlighter on cheekbone, also apply balm on the eyelids for the no makeup makeup look, this highlighter is very subtle and is perfect for everyday use. Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter I like to use a big duo fibre stippling brush like MAC 187 or another brand but same shape's brushes to apply it to the shoulder and collarbone blending out quickly and add fenty bomb on the top all over it looks bomb on the skin and you're just glowing all day long . Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick This multi-use highlighter stick used for cheeks, eyes, lips, and body, happy with the formula it contains avocado oil to hydrating the skin make the look lasting longer, I like to use it on a wet and dewy makeup look. FENTY BEAUTY - Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil This sliver shimmer sparkle/glitter can use it single or layered with blush adding shiny, glittery finish, But I prefer to apply it on the neck and body especially looks good for the summer time.
