My Quarantine Skin Transformation
The first picture was taken March 20 and the second was just yesterday. I’m honestly shook to be honest. My skin was scaley and dry. I had no routine. I had lost all of my skincare stuff and was washing my face with water and would use rosehip oil to moisturize. Then I used the MARIO BADESCU - Peptide Renewal Serumand my skin WENT CRAZY. Bumps EVERYWHERE. Skin going insane. My skin has never looked like this. Then I finally got some money to buy some skincare stuff and this is what I’ve got: Oil Cleanser : KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil- I don’t know if this is working yet. It takes off makeup. I’m terrified of oil on my face but it’s not done bad yet. I did break out a little bit after I started using it but it could be purging. I use this every night and morning for 60 seconds on dry skin. Foaming Cleanser: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin- I like this. It’s not drying I feel clean and my face feels good after wards. I use this right after oil cleansing. Toner: THAYERS - Witch Hazel AstringentI use this one in Aloe. OK SO I KNOWWW THAT PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS. But it really changed my face. Before using it, my face was really bumpy even thought I was cleaning and moisturizing and exfoliating but this really soothed my skin and made everything go on better. I use this around my neck area too because it’s dark. Exfloliator: Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin PerfectorThis helped my skin like get rid of bumps and dryness but it also makes my skin red which I don’t like. But for now Im using it. I would recommend this to start off your exfoliating journey. MOISTURIZER: Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face CreamI like this. It saved my dry skin it really hydrates and it’s not annoying. When you use it after the solution it does burn a bit. Just a warning but i really like this. SPF: Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily SunscreenAnother glossier product. This isn’t sponsored I just did a big order. This is nice it’s a gel consistency which i genuinely love. And it’s been helping my dark spots according to cherie hehe ANYWAYS my skin is doing a LOT better but there are still problems with it. I have pimples. LOTS of blackheads. large pores. Hopefully with time I can correct those. Anyways till next time 😜

Sunscreen - Glossier Invisible Shield
Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen Glossier Invisible Shield is a good chemical sunscreen option. As implied by the name, this sunscreen goes on invisibly and doesn't leave any white cast. It manages to do this because it's a mix of chemical, not physical or mineral, sunscreens. It contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, and Octisalate suspended in a gel formula. Invisible Shield loses a star because it's just SPF 35. Most dermatologists recommend you wear SPF 40 or above, and given that this is a chemical filter, I'm not sure why Glossier couldn't get the SPF number higher to offer longer protection. How does this perform and what's the texture like? Check out the texture shots. You'll see its a clear gel with a decent amount of body, that rubs in to be well, invisible. I liked the way this feels on my face - like nothing's there. It's not mattifying but it doesn't make you at all oily. It's a great balance between the two and Glossier definitely made this a cosmetically elegant formulation. It does have a drop of orange peel for fragrance, and unlike my favorite Japanese sunscreen, Biore Aqua Rich SPF 50, Invisible Shield doesn't contain any drying alcohol, making this suitable for all skin types including dry skin. Now moving on to the price, at $25 for 1 oz / 30ml this is an expensive sunscreen. Supergoop and competitors charge around $32 for a 1.7 oz tube, which is at least 50% bigger than Invisible Shield. I wish this came in a larger bottle or was a bit cheaper. The plastic tube is travel friendly. I rate this 4/5 stars. It's a great product, but it could be better if it was priced more fairly and had additional SPF. If you find most sunscreens are greasy or leave a white cast, then certainly try this out.

getting off makeup and clear skin with rosacea!
okay... so I know I've posted this before, and Cherie is (devastatingly) closing down, but I thought I'd share one last post. This really works. one is a prescription and there are a couple items missing, so I'll add them to the pictures. Here is the order they say to put on skincare (as depicted) 1) makeup remover/wash (I use Queen Helene cold cream that I SWEAR by, sometimes BURT’S BEES - BURT‘S BEES Sensitive Facial Cleanser ) 2) Facewash/second face wash (I use DERMA•E - Sensitive Skin Cleanser and Joeseph anti Acne soap 10% sulfur) 3) Toner (I use THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner ) 4) Serums (I use a few... my prescription Amzeeq, mostly The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% , and DERMA•E - Blue Light Shield Concentrated Serum ) 5) Spot Treatments (Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment , tea tree oil when needed) 6) Eye Cream (not pictured - DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream ) 7) Moisturizer (2 different kinds depending on how dry I am- pictured: Alba Botanica Aloe Green tea moisturizer, not pictured: skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream ) 8) Retinol: Now, because I have rosacea, I use a retinol alternative. The best one for sensitive skin I found is The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion use at night only) 9) Face Oil: HEAR ME OUT: If you have oily skin, it's not the WORST thing to use an oil. As a matter of fact, it may work well. BEST ONE BY FAR IS ROSEHIP OIL. I can't tell you how amazing it is The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil , and JOSIE MARAN - Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment during the day) wear sunscreen during the day, and put it in place of retinol. I use Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen it's a great light moisturizer, too. And at night in the winter if it's super dry, I'll put petroleum jelly around the corners of my eyes and lips. The results don't lie, Cherie babes (: comment below I'd you know of a better eye cream.

Cleansing Routine to Manage Acne
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. Finding a routine to manage my acne took almost eight years. My trouble spots are my cheeks, forehead and above my top lip. I’m pretty strict with my routine, because my skin is not fond of change. AM ROUTINE I like to keep my morning routine simple and light because too many products stress out my skin, feel heavy, cause breakouts and I end up sweating them off. I cleanse with CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser . I love this cleanser because it uses clean ingredients that don’t over dry my face and it smells great! The only reason I knock off a star is because fragrance is included in the ingredients, which can irritate some folks. My face is pretty sensitive and I haven’t had any issues. To moisturize, I pat CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid on my face and neck (never forget your neck!). It works like magic! It dries clear, feels light and doesn’t leave you oily. I can literally feel the moisturizer eating up the excess oil on my skin. I love it. I definitely recommend this product for people with oily skin. Afterwards, I always always always SPF my face and neck. I’ve been using Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen and I love it’s consistency. It’s super light and leaves that dewey glow that everyone loves. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. If anyone has any dupe recommendations — let me know! PM ROUTINE I go HAM during my night routine to treat any trouble spots and damage. At night, I cleanse with DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% . The benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria and keeps my breakouts to a minimum. I follow it with DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel . This is the secret ingredient! If you try any of the products in this post, this is the one. It has really minimized my breakouts. Before using the treatment gel, there was never a day a didn’t have at least one bump. Afterwards, I use Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum to add some extra moisture to my skin overnight. I top it off with the moisturizer I use from my AM routine. ONCE A WEEK AM ROUTINE: 1-2x a week. I use Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector to exfoliate. Especially after shaving. This is my favorite after shave. It’s a great chemical exfoliator that leaves your skin glowing. Use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. PM ROUTINE: For extra support and as a spot treatment, I mix two drops of TRADER JOE'S - Spa 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil into a small cup of water. I use a cotton pad and pat the mixture on my trouble spots. It minimizes the redness and irritation overnight! I don’t have perfect skin, but I’m so much happier with the state it’s in. My skin is glowing and clear. I finally feel confident showing my face to the world.

skin transformation diaries: intro and 1 week!
I've decided to undergo a little skin care transformation. Pictures are from the 1 week I've used these products so far! I am going to continue this routine and post more entries as I go on. The products I use are: 1. Spacewash by Starface a. Applied with Meejee 2. Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner (spray form) 3. The Ordinary's Niacinamide a. Applied with Jade Roller 4. (Under eyes) The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution a. Applied with Jade Roller 5. (AM ONLY) Glossier Invisible Shield 35 SPF 6. Moisture on Mars by Starface Sometimes I like to use the Starface pimple patches⭐️ Reviews: 1. Spacewash by Starface- 11/10! Hands down the best face wash I've ever used. It foams really nicely especially paired with my Meejee, and leaves my skin feeling so clean. 2. Meejee- 10/10! Exceeded my expectations 10 fold. Really nothing I could think of improving in this product. It's super gentle on my sensitive skin, it feels really nice and really gets the job done cleansing my skin. 3. Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner- 6/10. I've been using this product for 3 years and I really do think it works but as many people will tell you, it does burn a little bit. 4. The Ordinary Niacinamide- 8/10. I haven't developed much of an opinion on this product yet but I think it's definitely helped to minimize the textures in my skin. Although I didn't take any pictures of this, around my jaw on my cheeks is very textured and I've noticed some serious improvement! 5. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution- ??/10. I haven't been paying attention to if this works or not😬😬Sorry! I will be taking more of that in the future. 6. Jade Roller by ina beauty- 11/10! I was looking for a cheap roller to get and I found this one on Amazon for $7. Read some reviews and my expectations weren't very high but I was blown away but the quality of this thing. I absolutely love using it especially because it's nice and cold even though I keep it in a room temp drawer in my bathroom! Feels very nice. 7. Glossier Invisible Shield- 7/10. I doubt there will be a physical change caused by this product because it's a protective measure, and a necessary one in Texas! The only reason I've taken some points off is because it makes my skin feel kind of greasy, although it goes away after given proper time to absorb, and sometimes i notice what appears to be dead skin coming off of my face but I think it's something from the sunscreen. I'm not sure though. 8. Moisture on Mars by Starface- 200000/10!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have "normal" skin, and moisturizers make it oily but a moisturizer is necessary. When I found this product I think God sent it from Heaven himself. I adore this product. It makes my skin so glowy and doesn't feel heavy or cause any breakouts due to unnecessary oil. LOVE.The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% STARFACE - Space Wash meejee - Meejee The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Mist Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen

Dewey glowy sunscreen ☀️
I was never a sunscreen wearer. I know, it’s terrible. I never wore sunscreen and then I decided enough was enough. I put in some research and decided to try glossier (mainly because I was already buying other things). To say I’m a sunscreen convert is an understatement. I put this on even when I’m not planning on going outside because #quarantine. Things I love: it’s very light. I put it on top of my moisturizer but it doesn’t feel like there’s anything extra on my face. I hate the feeling of thick products in the morning. Secondly, it makes my skin look so glowy. During this time when I’m not really leaving my apartment, I’m not wearing a lot of makeup and this sunscreen makes my skin look really dewey. This past weekend, I put makeup on top of my sunscreen and it looked 🔥. Granted I put on a glowy primer but the sunscreen didn’t make me look chalky or clogged at all. The one thing I don’t like is that it’s kinda small. I just got this like a month ago but I’m worried it won’t last me that long. You don’t have to use a lot of product and maybe it will last longer than I expect. TBD on that one. And while the packaging is super cute. There’s no way of seeing how much product is left. These are pretty minor issues for how awesome the sunscreen feels, looks and works so I’m definitely going to be buying it again and again. Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen
