KRAVE BEAUTY: MATCHA CLEANSER & KALE-LALU-YAHA🌿
I started my skin care journey about 2 months ago. I have acne prone, dry and sensitive skin! I looked into Krave beauty products to nourish and help out my skin. 💚MATCHA HEMP HYDRATING CLEANSER💚 This cleanser is packed with skin barrier friendly antioxidants that gives your skin a healthy PH as well as hydrates the skin. When applying, you don’t need too much product. A pea size amount does the trick! It has a jelly consistency which I LOVE. When the product is washed off, my skin feels hydrated but super clean without any over cleaning or stripping feeling. 💚KALE-LALU-YAHA💚 This is a super gentle chemical exfoliant. I was a little scared at first adding an exfoliant to my skin care because I already have dry, sensitive skin but this is IT. This does contain 5.25% of Glycolic acid which is an AHA but this is super gentle! It’s packed with antioxidants that bring hydration to your skin while getting rid of dead skin cells on the surface level of your face. A common misconception is the bottle is glass but it’s plastic, which I don’t mind. I apply my regular toner then apply this afterwards about 2-3 times a week. After applying this exfoliant, my skin feels hydrated but veryyyyy smooth. Both products have incredible ingredients and do the job to nourish and hydrate the skin while cleansing or exfoliating. 10/10, highly recommend for any skin type but definitely a great choice for those with dry and sensitive skin!
Krave Beauty Kale-Lalu-yAHA Review
It is almost Thanksgiving! YAY! Happy Thanksgiving Eve! 🦃 I want to share about one of my favorite HG toner, @kravebeauty Kale-Lalu-yAHA 🥬! This is my third bottle which says a lot because I have tried many toners since I started getting into skincare. I believe the only toners I have repurchased time and time again is this guy, Thayers, and Missha First Essence Treatment. The Kale-Lalu-yAHA is a 5.25% glycolic acid toner that contains, aloe, kale (of course), spinach, parsley, Panthenol (vit B5), and hyaluronic acid. It is an exfoliating toner that really buffs away the dead skin cells while replenishing the skin many antioxidants from the green veggies that are in there. It also claims to minimize the appearance of discoloration, help with sun damage, and fine lines with regular use. It also says it cleans out the clogged and congested pores. I have oily and sensitive skin and so I tend to use this every other day. I pour some into a cotton round and in the morning, instead of washing my face with a cleanser, I just use this to buff away any dust/oils/dead skin cells. It leaves my face feeling very hydrated, smooth, and soft. All prepped for the rest of my skincare. My face just feels much cleaner and refreshed! I highly recommend this to oily/combo/acne-prone skin because it really does a good job at cleaning out the pores and at buffing away all that gunk which just sits on the skin. 5/5 kales from me! 🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬! A forever repurchase 🙌🏻. One of my favorite products from this brand 💚. Also if you didn’t know they will be having a 15% off this Black Friday weekend. I have already stocked up so I won’t be buying anything but this is a great opportunity if you were curious about this brand. But if you are feeling overwhelmed, I highly recommend you check out their "DO I NEED THIS?" chart on their IG page. #mindfulspending I’m curious to know if this works for those of you with dry skin 🤔. What are your favorites from @kravebeauty? Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHA
Krave Beauty; My Review
Over I wasn’t very impressed. These products are pricey and although I appreciate their mission the products don’t speak for themselves. I tried everything for a little over a month so I could really see how their products work with my skin and over all I didn’t notice much difference besides an increase in acne along my chin line and more texture on my forehead. I did have one day during the month where my skin was flawless and I thought these products were amazing but it quickly faded. Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHA I don’t hate this toner. I just did not notice a positive difference in my skin with it. Krave - Great Barrier Relief Good texture, a little oily but that goes away somewhat quickly Krave - The Beet Shield Best sunscreen I’ve tried so far. It does not leave a white cast and does not have a strong scent. It is on the oilier side but my skin tends to be dry so it works well for me. I included a picture of what it looks like on my hand before absorbing for reference. The main reason I only gave it 4 stars is the price for how much you get. It is a small container. I am going to continue to use this sunscreen until I run out and then will be looking for a cheaper option.

Guide to MEN'S Skincare! 🤎
The days of minimal skincare for men are over! The global market for skincare is expected to reach $189 billion globally by 2025 (statista.com). These companies are no longer missing out on the huge market that is expanded through men of all ages. Sisinternational Research also did studies that show men have a few preferences when it comes to skincare: easy to use products, leave no residue, and no strong scent. So, men's specific skincare products are ultimately completely unnecessary. They do have simple packaging and added cologne fragrances, but the ingredients do not differ in any positive way. Physiological differences between men and women's skin usually shows through larger pores, more oil production, and thicker overall skin. As I said before, it used to be seen as a feminine endeavor to go down the skincare aisle. Through more education and gender neutral marketing, people are picking up cleansers and moisturizers without the stigma. So, put down the 3-in-1 shampoo and face wash combo and try these suggestions out instead. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Great budget friendly option for most skin types. Using a foaming but non stripping wash can help keep it clean and hydrated. Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHA Gentle exfoliant that works great to ease your way into a skincare routine. Use 1-2 weekly and increase over time. This can help with pesky ingrown hairs and irriation caused by facial hair. Do not use same day as shaving! dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator Physical exfoliant option if you prefer a scrub feeling that can be used before shaving. Use 2-3 weekly and assess skin's response. Only choose one exfoliant to use at a time. OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum Optional vitamin C is a great way to brighten up and even the skin tone. Use every morning before SPF. Leaves no sticky feeling and sinks in nicely. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30 Sunscreen is an absolute must for everyone! This packaging is clean and neutral, and a squeeze tube makes it easy to store in a shaving kit. Be sure to apply quite a bit and reapply throughout the day. Working at the spa, I got quite a few male clients for facials. Taking care of your skin at home or professionally is necessary no matter what. Do not be afraid to purchase the essentials: cleanser, exfoliant and SPF. After a while of getting your routine down, then you can add in extra products as needed for your specific skin type. It is time to squash societal norms surrounding men's hygiene and skincare! Who's with me?

Green goodies to repurchase
Today’s green goodies that I absolutely adore. krave beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and Kale-lalu-yAHA - I never talked about Krave on my page before but I’ve been using the cleanser for a long time now and I’m going to say that it’s my favorite cleanser of 2018. Lifts everything your skin hates, leaving just what it needs—healthy pH, hydration, and anti-oxidant! I haven’t been cleansing in the morning and when I do I use just this, barely lathers and doesn’t irritate. Love love love! Now the Kale-lalu-yAHA is a helped me a good amount with my overall discoloration and spots while being gentle which I really appreciate. Cannot wait to get my hands on their sunscreen! innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum, Lip Sleeping Mask with Green Tea, and Black Cherry Body Cleanser - I’ve had the serum for almost a year now so you could say it lasts for a while. Filled with organic Jeju green tea that hydrate your skin from deep within. The lip mask on other hand is fairly new, a great substitute for my Laneige one and works just as well! Lastly the body cleanser leaves my skin with just the right amount of scent when rinsed, perfect for when I go out! I visited their first ever store in the PH last week and they had a pretty good selection. ere perez Quandong Green Booster Serum and Cranberry Lip & Eye Butter - the serum is filled with an antioxidant-rich blend of superfood ingredients for that healthy, glowing complexion. Definitely helps improve skin elasticity and a little goes a long way! Moving on to the other product, I use it more as an eye cream cos for some reason when I use it on my lips it dries out even more. Under the eyes though it’s perfect as it’s lightweight and deeply moisturizing! Works extremely well under make-up

Bumps on forehead update
Update time! For anyone who’s interested 🤗 So I’ve been waiting at home for a lot of products to deliver 😫 it’s taking forever, but in the meantime I had to try something because these bumps were getting big (some of them, the others remained small) so I decided to use COSRX - Clear Fit Master Patch I had tried it before (as mentioned on my previous post) and it worked for 2 bumps, but they came back with 2 other friends. This time around, I applied a bit of pressure on the bumps, (I was not as aggressive as I normally would be because these were not white heads and I know I shouldn’t pop white heads or any pimple, but sometimes I can’t help it 😣) and I noticed a lot of water and what looked like sweat coming out from the pores located on those bumps. I decided to stop applying any more pressure and put on a patch on each bump. The first night, oh my! I put the patches on before bed and when I woke up i saw so much nasty stuff on the patches! Day two, I applied the patches at 7pm and by 10pm, the patches had more nasty stuff so I put on new ones before bed and I saw more nasty haha. I’m on day 3 of using these patches and the bumps are flat!! The only issue I have now is that I was left with extreme redness on the areas where I had the bumps. At this point I’m assuming I had cystic acne because I’ve never experienced anything like this before, especially the redness and from all the other posts I have seen, my red scars look pretty similar to those left by cystic acne. Some of the products I have already purchased, for what I thought was fungal acne, work to exfoliate the skin so I will still be using those once they arrive and hope they help with the redness. One product I’m looking forward to is Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHAand I will update you all on that progress too. If you have any other suggestions for products that could help with redness or scars, let me know! 🤗 I want to say, to everyone that gave me advice on the last post that I’ve been honestly stressing about a lot of things lately and losing sleep. I’m sure the stress caused my skin to go all crazy (I’m also thinking working out had something to do with it). I was then stressing about my forehead. I just didn’t feel great about seeing those bumps on my face everyday and not knowing what they were or what to do about it. I just want to say I appreciate the time you all took to comment and help me out. I found comfort knowing I had great options of products to try out and that other people were able to find products that worked for their skin. Thank you all ❤️
