I can't resist innisfree's bra
I can't resist innisfree's branding! They repackaged their Green Tea Seed line in more modern packaging and also tweaked the formula a bit to include a new kind of green tea that contains more antioxidants. The serum and cream formula feel almost identical to the old versions and they have a new eye serum too which feels like a slightly thicker version of the serum. I think the new cream is slightly less slippy and slick than the old version, and I like it better, but it could be my imagination as it's sooo similar. I also love that Innisfree packages their products in recycled packaging! They encourage you to bring your finished jars into the store (you get free points) so they can be recycled into new packaging or used in displays for the store. You can also recycle them in your local recycling bin. Recycling isn't the best solution but it's definitely a start. Hoarding beauty products is inherently not eco-friendly...I'm going to try to be more mindful of that and try to reduce waste. Trying to give away products I can't use and avoid getting quite so many in the first place.

Innisfree Green Tea Hydration
Innisfree Green Tea Hydration Fun Fact: innisfree sells 8 bottles of Intensive Hydrating Serum worldwide every minute Here is the line-up// 🌿Intensive Hydrating Serum/ This has a great texture. It comes out thick and slightly milky for a serum but turns to a water like texture as it is absorbed into the skin. This is exactly what I look for when testing a serum. Serums are meant to be the powerhouse and to provide your skin with the extras that keep it looking bouncy and glowing. If your serum is not absorbing--- then what is the point? Innisfree nailed it with this formulation. After trying, i'm not surprised 8 bottles are sold every minute! 🌿Intensive Hydrating Roll-on/ I'm not a huge fan of using a roll on. I've always shied away from this type of packaging. I DO like the actual eye serum. It's slightly thicker then the intensive serum and works well for my eye area. 🌿Intensive Hydrating Cream/ This cream is on the lighter side which is perfect for summer and hot weather. I feel like it sits on my skin for just a second before absorbing and leaving my skin dewy and hydrated. As with the other products in this line, the cream absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling bouncy. This is the grand finale and does a wonderful job locking in the Jeju Green Tea goodness.

Innisfree is one brand that I
Innisfree is one brand that I have been wanting to try. 🌿INTENSIVE HYDRATING SERUM WITH GREEN TEA SEED is a lightweight serum that contains green tea seed oil and green tea extracts from Jeju Island. It promises to instantly nourish your skin and give you that glowing complexion. One thing I noticed is that alcohol is the third ingredient on the list. It has a light green tea scent which I love. It absorbs very quick. I feel some hydration but not enough for me to just use it alone. 🌿INTENSIVE HYDRATING CREAM WITH GREEN TEA SEED contains green tea extracts and green tea seed oil. It claims to give your skin a refreshing hydration. It has dimethicone in it. It has a beautiful light creamy texture and a very light green tea scent. It absorbs very well. For me, I think this is good for the summer. It is a little too light for me to use at night. Great for daytime use. 🌿INTENSIVE HYDRATING EYE ROLL-ON WITH GREEN TEA SEED contains green tea extracts and green tea oil from Jeju. I like roll-on eye products, because I don’t have to use my fingers. It is very soothing and very hydrating. My eye area seems brighter after using it. However, dimethicone is in the top 5 on the ingredients list as well. Overall, I like these three products for the summer. However, with dimethicone so high up on the ingredient list, I will have to think about it when repurchasing these.

Green Routine 💚
Green Routine 💚
Another night..another routine. I start off after cleaning my face I used Alba Botanica’s Peel Off mask to eat rid of pores and whatever dirt left over the week. ORIGINS - Hello Calm Relaxing & Hydrating Face Mask with Hemp Seed Oil Enjoy a nice bath with this mask on, the oil of Cannabis Sativa is a relaxing smell and not too strong. The mask application itself is a smooth texture and if refrigerated, cool refreshing feel on your skin. It is a little difficult to wash off but once you do, your skin will thank you. innisfree - Green Tea Seed Intensive Hydrating Serum Hands down my favorite moisturizer of all time! A MUST-HAVE korean skincare. Imagine drinking green tea and have it absorbing your skin while drinking. That’s what it feel me like applying this product. I like to apply multiple layers in the winter because helps my dry skin.

Wish this lived up to the hype!!
Wish this lived up to the hype!!
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Intensive Hydrating Serum is marketed as a lightweight hydrating serum for normal, dry and combination skin. Its supposed to help with dryness, dullness and uneven texture. It is made with Jeju green tea and is supposed to replenish your skin and protect it against environmental aggressors. I received this product in a trial size as a gift with purchase at their store in NYC. I was so excited to try it based on the amazing reviews online. Unfortunately this serum did not agree with my sensitive skin. It did seem to hydrate my skin but I only used it about a week before I realized increased breakouts and skin sensitivity. I also could not get past the extreme fragrance. This product smells like straight up perfume (which I prefer not to put on my face!). The texture was nice as its very lightweight and soaks into the skin nicely. This would be an ok hydrating serum if it wasn’t so laden with heavy fragrance. I enjoy the airtight pump packaging, the texture and the whole concept behind the serum however the fragrance really kills it for me. This product also has a heavy amount of alcohol in it for those who like to avoid alcohol in their skincare (which I do). Its $27 which is affordable but I don’t think its worth it, especially if you have sensitive skin like mine. I feel like this is overhyped and there are probably so many better K beauty products to try out there. Overall, I give it 2 stars and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. innisfree - Green Tea Seed Intensive Hydrating Serum

I finished it??!- Innisfree green tea seed serum
I finished it??!- Innisfree green tea seed serum
I’ll be real with you, chief: I’m an oil slick and my face can fill the tank of my car. I got this as a gift, and I was graciously thankful, but in my mind, upon reading “intensive hydrating”, I was thinking of a damage control plan for my face when I finally got the guts to try it. Consider my surprise when that breakout never came. In fact, this serum moisturizer my face to the point where my oil production actually let up?! It’s a light gel that you use after toner. To me it leaves my face feeling like...satin? I thought oily meant not needing extra hydration but reddit schooled me. During the summertime, I used it in lieu of moisturizer under my sunscreen. In the winter time, I put it under a light cream and I swear it helps keep my oil production under control - as this was the only new thing. It is fragranced; to me, Not obnoxiously so, but if you’re particularly sensitive I would suggest steering clear because it is noticeable. Best believe I snatched up a mega size for Black Friday. Score. Now to manage without while it’s shipping....
