I’m obsessed with this moisturizer 🤯
I’m obsessed with this moisturizer 🤯
I have oily skin, so sometimes it’s difficult to tell if my skin is truly dehydrated. Lately, I have been trying to up my hydration game and this moisturizer is a GAME CHANGER! Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream This is the first moisturizer I’ve ever tired that truly melts into your skin immediately and doesn’t leave a heavy feeling. The fragrance is very light some like like baby powder and doesn’t linger for long. I like using this product at night to replace my heavier creams when my skin needs a little TLC. If you are in the market for a new moisturizer I highly recommend this one! 🤩

My Face Cream Awards
My Face Cream Awards
Although I don't have extremely dry skin, I cannot live without face cream in my daily skin care routine. My skin is sensitive, but thank God my skin is not that sensitive. My overall requirement for face cream is soothing the skin, moisturizing and repairing my skin barrier. I've tried many different face cream products. But there are only three products I really like to use. Thanks for their excellent performance and today I want to have an award ceremony for these three products. 🏆Best Skin Relief Award🏆: My skin may have redness due to changes of the weather, and sometimes a little itchy rash may appears . Whenever I encounter these minor problems, I will use this LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream cream. Rub it in the palm of my hand for a while, apply on my face, a little can go a long way! Use it before sleep, and my skin looks better after waking up the next day. 🏆Best Moisturizing Award🏆: This Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream from Kielh’s really does the best job on hydrating my skin! I apply it in the morning and my face will not feel dry or dehydrated all day long. Squalin and ceramide ingredients are really good for dry skin problems! 🏆Best Price Award🏆: This $28 Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream is just so cost-effective! Curel is a brand from Japan, and most products owned by this brand are in very good prices. I want to say that J beauty is not lost to the popular K beauty now! If you are interested in brands from other countries, try it out!

SKINCARE SUNDAY: DRY SKIN EDITION 🌵
SKINCARE SUNDAY: DRY SKIN EDITION 🌵
Happy Sunday to you all! Today I wanted to talk about my experience with Curél Products. Just for reference, I’m a dry, sensitive skinned gal, so I’m always on the hunt for products that will be hydrating without being irritating. Curèl is Japanese Skincare Brand formulated for sensitive skin. All products listed were purchased from Ulta during a sale🤑 I bought a 4 piece trial set for $26 that included the following: Curél - Foaming Facial Wash I feel like this is decent, gentle cleanser that won’t irritate skin. I’m usually terrified of foaming cleansers, since they are usually too harsh, but this one had such a nice lather that didn’t strip my skin terribly. If you’re a makeup or sunscreen wearer, a double cleanse will definitely be necessary if using this, as this doesn’t give you a super deep clean. For me, this is best on no makeup days. I also feel like this would be a good morning cleanser. I gave this a high rating because it’s extremely sensitive, which is great. Curél - Makeup Cleansing Gel I typically use cleansing balms or oils, so this gel was new to me. I didn’t hate it, but I feel like this took so much longer, and required so much more effort than my typical balm or oil. The consistency is so thick and sticky, that it’s hard to move around. It’s not the worst, but not the best. It doesn’t remove eye makeup well, however, so I’m not the biggest fan. Curél - Moisture Facial Lotion Enrich This was a total bust for me. They say to use this as an essence after cleansing but before moisturizing. It’s supposed to enhance the effect of your moisturizer. Well, it did nothing for me. Absolutely nothing. Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream I’m on the fence about this cream. It’s almost a 4 star, but not quite. This is a very lightweight cream, which took me by surprise. I expected it to be much thicker. I’d say it’s fairly hydrating, but not as “intensive” as I thought it would be. I think I would really enjoy this cream in the summer, when my skin is less dry. I can still use this occasionally during the day time, but it’s not hydrating enough for nighttime use. I do think a lot of people would enjoy this though, since it’s lightweight and pretty hydrating. I much prefer the BIODERMA - Hydrabio Crème over this. Just to clarify, the mini jar is the one that came in this set. I bought the regular size one($30) since it was part of the sale. I will save it for summertime. All in all, I am impressed with Curél for being so gentle on sensitive skin. I received zero irritation, redness, tightness, etc. I would definitely recommend Curél to anyone with sensitive, normal and moderately dry skin. Even oily skinned folks could benefit from some of these producers. I think this trial set is a wonderful value and a great way to try Curél. Highly recommend! Any skincare suggestions?😊

INTENSIVE MOISTURE for dry and sensitive skin!
INTENSIVE MOISTURE for dry and sensitive skin!
MY NEW GO-TO FACE MOISTURIZER! I was so excited to try this Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream because it’s targeting towards “very dry and sensitive skin” which is exactly my skin type! I had to share this with everyone because it’s so gentle yet powerful 🙌🏼 First off, it’s everything it claims to be: 🤍 lightweight, yet intensive It’s a cream formula but more weightless than those heavy night creams, meaning you can use this in the morning and at night (which is when I use it). This product really does deeply hydrate and nourish the skin. 🤍 absorbs instantly for a healthy glow I love how it doesn’t leave an oily or super dewy after feel. I was using the PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer before this and I love that it contained hyaluronic acid to keep my skin super hydrated and plumped but it would leave me SHINY; I didn’t appreciate this when I would wear it in the AM. So I much prefer this Curel moisturizer because it provides intense hydration, absorbs instantly into the skin, and sits very well under makeup! 🤍 fragrance, alcohol and colorant free We always appreciate these factors in skincare 🤗 I would definitely recommend this cream for anyone who has dry and sensitive skin! For $30 at Ulta, it’s well worth the price because a little truly does go a long way! I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out :)

Unbelievable challenge! Moisture meter shows $30 face cream beat $228 one!
Unbelievable challenge! Moisture meter shows $30 face cream beat $228 one!
I have dehydrated sensitive skin; even in Summer, my skin is still as dry as the Sahara Desert! That's why I'm always jealous of girls who have glowing, dewy complexion. I recently tried two well-known J-beauty skincare brands since "mochi skin" is in the latest fashion. The first one is intensive moisture cream from Curel, a famous Japanese drugstore brand founded in 1999. It aims explicitly at dry and sensitive skin. I heard that Curel is the top-selling sensitive skin brand in the Japanese market. This cream can improve your skin's natural barrier function, soothe, and protect skin from dryness according to product introduction. I liked the texture, it's super lightweight, cream-like, and it glides smoothly on my skin, and doesn't even feel like you're wearing any cream on your face! It leaves my skin feeling supple, hydrated, but not with caked-on products. I would recommend to people with very very dry skin like me! The second one is the SK-II moisturizer, which costs more than $200!!! SK-II, also born in Japan, is a famous high-end skincare brand in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Like other luxury skincare brands, it is said that SK-II products are the perfect result of Japanese skin experts applying cutting-edge technology to the development of skincare products. I was trying this out for a while as a nighttime facial cream and finally decided I don't think it's working for me. It is great for keeping certain parts of my skin hydrated and dewy like my forehead and others. But my cheeks are dehydrated, and I always felt like this isn't enough. And the scent of this is just way too overpowering for me! I got the skin moisture meter from my friend, which helped me verify how the moisturizer affected my skin. The meter displays a number from 0 to 99, 0 is the lowest, and 99 is the highest humidity. A result from 0 to 40 indicates that your skin is dry and needs more moisture. You can see the first picture; the number shows that my skin's humidity is only 10.3% before applying skincare products. It increases to 14.2% 30s after I used Cruel cream, but it only rises to 10.9% after applying SK-II. No surprise, I love Curel cream more than SKII, even the last one is much expensive!

Curel Intensive Moisture Cream Review!
Curel Intensive Moisture Cream Review!
Ok, so, if you haven’t taken a peep at my previous post, I have oily skin with moderate hyperpigmentation and little to no outbreaks. Because I have oily skin, I can honestly say it makes me start away from creamy, super rich moisturizers. I already battle with excess shine and I don’t want to up the ante by adding an intensely hydrating but super greasy moisturizer on top of that. However, Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream is actually pretty fantastic on my skin. A little about the product: It’s the #1 skincare brand in Japan for sensitive skin! Its extremely light Geared towards very dry, sensitive skin The reason why I liked this product is because of the way that I have used it. I applied this moisturizer after cleansing, exfoliating and a clay mask. After this my face was in need of some major moisture. This product came in handy. I’m giving this product 5 stars because it does intensely hydrate the skin. Since my skin is oily, I definitely will not be using it everyday. However, it truly did feel amazing on my skin after my mini facial. I’d you have very dry skin or sensitive skin and you’re looking for a quality and intensive moisturizer. I would definitely check this out! I
