Highlights
DetailNon-Toxic | Vegan | Cruelty-Free | Pregnancy-Safe From the moment you twist open the cap, this cleansing balm smells like a spa. That’s the eucalyptus and clove leaf oil—not artificial fragrance. This face wash in balm form melts away makeup and impurities without stripping moisture from your skin (thank you, vitamin E). As you massage it into your skin with wet fingertips, the oil-based formula softens to create a light, gentle milk that rinses clean with no oily residue (the kind that may have turned you off from cleansing balms in the past). Don’t forget to wash into your hairline and along your jawline. Those often-overlooked areas are prone to breakouts. It’s the perfect start to your PM wind-down ritual and especially useful as a first cleanse for you double-cleansers out there. Net wt : 2.3 oz. / 67 g

Good one but not a fan of smell

The texture of this balm cleanser is very creamy and it melts nicely in the palms. I use this as a first cleanse to take away all the makeup. It has a scent of eucalyptus oil, which I am not a great fan of. I won’t be repurchasing this as there are other better products out there VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm

Addicting, Affordable Cleansing Balm

The Versed Day Dissolve cleansing balm with Eucalyptus and Vitamin E aims to remove makeup and cleanse the skin. It has a silky, balmy texture that melts into the skin so well, and I would say it could be used for any skin type. If your skin is oily, then a little goes a long way. This product caught my eye when I was at Target looking at the Versed skincare line. I have been using this for over a couple months when I have on heavy makeup, and it’s very effective at removing any makeup I have. I love to use this as a first cleanse. Also, if you like a Eucalyptus scent, this is a great one to try. I find it refreshing, and it might not be everyone’s taste, but I enjoy it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective and affordable cleansing balm. It’s under $20 for 2.3 oz, so this is a steal!

My Skin: Oily About the Product: Cleansing balm that is oil based and intended to be used as a first cleanse before a water based cleanser. Texture/Consistency/Packaging: It is a solid that turns into an oil on the skin. Once it comes into contact with water is starts to foam up to break away all your makeup and spf. My Experience/Thoughts: This cleansing balm does a good job at removing makeup and sunscreen. It is pretty gentle, but I do notice that sometimes when I take my eye makeup off it can be very blurry after for a while. This is likely just due to the oils, but it’s definitely more on this product than other cleansing balms I’ve tried. It also has a strong eucalyptus scent that may contribute since it kinda makes my eyes water... Worth It/Would I Recommend? I do like this product. I don’t go as intense around my eyes, I’m more cautious now. It’s a good price and was my first cleansing balm. It’s available at target and super convenient which is nice. I'd rather get coal than get this cleansing balm as a gift for Christmas. I had high hopes for this cleansing balm but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. I have used cleansing balms in the past, my favorite is the Heimish All Clean Balm, but in looking for a new option I picked up this one from Target’s new Versed Skincare line for $17.99 . The Versed balm was more expensive than the Heimish one (currently going for $14 on Amazon), but I was willing to pay more after reading all the good reviews. Big mistake. The reviews failed to mention how fragrances this is. The only thing I can compare the scent to is the spearmint eucalyptus candle from Bath and Body (this product does contain eucalyptus oil as one of the ingredients.) I don’t mind fragrance in my skincare as long as it’s light, but I definitely don’t like strong fragrance in my cleansers. This balm contributed to a terrible cystic breakout on my cheeks and along my jaw line, and I’m certain it had to do with the ingredients that made up the fragrance. I’ve never broken out from a cleansing balm before. I would not recommend this product to sensitive or acne prone skin types, as I do believe this is not a non-comedogenic product.

What it is: a cleansing balm meant to dissolve makeup and clear skin of impurities. Made with eucalyptus, jojoba, and clove while being packed with vitamin E, it’s meant to leave your skin hydrated yet clean. Price: $18 for 2.3oz My thoughts: This balm is the perfect light cleansing balm. It removes my daily makeup as well as leaves my skin hydrated. I enjoy the light eucalyptus scent and I’m glad there are no added dyes to make this product something that it isn’t. I can use this by itself or part of a double cleanse and be equally as hydrated. You do not need a lot of this product to cleanse your whole face! VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ehhhh... Versed Cleansing Balm
Ehhhh... Versed Cleansing Balm
Over the summer, I went to my local target to try out some products from Versed. Unfortunately, their stock was pretty low so I only came away with their Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm. At this point the only other cleansing balm I had used was the Clinique Take the Day Off Balm (which I actually really loved) and was excited to see a drugstore option on the market. This cleansing balm is meant to be used as a first step cleanse to remove the day’s grime: makeup, sunscreen, and oil. It’s a thick, whipped texture as pictured. I actually don’t like the instructions for this product because it says to use this with wet hands which I don’t recommend: an oil based product should be used with dry hands and a dry face so that it can emulsify properly once everything is broken down. I like this product because it does break down makeup and sunscreen but it is SO fragranced. Granted, the fragrances are natural (eucalyptus oil and clove leaf oil primarily) but it is STRONG and it also stings when it gets in the eyes so I’ve been afraid to use this with eye makeup after it burned the first few times I tried to remove mascara with it. I think if you’re looking for an affordable cleansing balm, the I Dew Care one is a better option as it gives me the same results without the stinging. I don’t have sensitive eyes either, so I’m not sure how this product would go over for someone who does! I like that the product comes in a full size ($17.99 for 2.3 fl. Oz) and a mini size (.6 fl oz for $7.99) but I’m not sure the product is worth it given how irritating it was for me at least. It works, don’t get me wrong, but you also come away with really dry and irritated eyes! 3/5.
