Brand Review: Innisfree
Innisfree is an eco-friendly brand that has been around since 2002. The company creates a whole bunch of products centered around different natural ingredients, like aloe vera, volcanic clay, and green tea. Most, if not all, of their products are pretty affordable so even students can afford them. In fact, I personally have plenty of experience using Innisfree products from my high school and university days. I’ve already tried several products from this brand, including two that I’m still using right now. I’ll list some of them here: 1. innisfree - Pore Clearing Facial Foam I’ve been using this since I was a student at university. It’s been renamed so many times but the base product is practically the same. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean, which I really like, haha. Only downside is that it’s also incredibly drying so make sure you follow it up with a good moisturizer. 2. innisfree - Innisfree Intensive Long Lasting Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ This is my go-to sunscreen when I want to go out. I use it under my powder or my makeup but it never makes my skin oily or greasy. It also has SPF50+ PA++++ so I know I’m well-protected from harmful UV rays. 3. innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask I used to apply clay masks every week or so when I was still a student. My choice of mask was this baby from Innisfree. It’s kinda hard to apply at first and it hardened pretty quickly, but on the upside, it always made my skin feel smooth and soft afterwards. 4. innisfree - No Sebum Mineral Powder I’m actually not a huge fan of makeup, so most of the time, you’ll probably just see me with a powder on and maybe some lip tint. No Sebum Powder was my go-to powder as a student. It was great at hiding oiliness around mid-day. However, I found it too expensive for such a small amount of product so I had to switch to another brand. 5. innisfree - Bija Trouble Spot Essence I got this I think around 3 years ago when I was still looking for an effective spot treatment for pimples. Unfortunately, it didn’t really work for me. This is probably the only Innisfree product that I found pretty disappointing. For the most part, Innisfree products are affordable and effective products that can help you deal with various skin concerns. Plus, if you’re looking for eco-friendly skincare, you should probably give this brand a try! 💋

Today it’s all about this amazing Innisfree Volcanic Cluster trio — 🌋 Pore Clearing Toner with Volcanic Cluster - now, this toner, I’m absolutely crazy about it. First off, the scent is just incredible. It’s like this incredibly sweet, yet earthy smell that I just want to bathe in, it’s insane. This is meant to be a clarifying and refreshing toner for oily and troubled skin. Its Jeju Volcanic Cluster micro-particles are smaller than pores and are there to help draw out sebum and impurities that not even cleansers can get to. The protease in here is a natural exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells in order to reveal a brighter and less shiny complexion. Whenever I’m done using this, my senses are super soothed and my face feels extra refreshed and clean. Honestly, I’ll be purchasing this toner when I run out for the smell alone. It’s absolutely divine. 🌋 Pore Clearing Clay Mask with Super Volcanic Clusters - the upgraded formula of Innisfree’s best-selling clay mask! It has attained a K-beauty cult status globally, and after continuous research, the Innisfree chemists behind all these magical products we know and love have developed the next generation of Jeju Volcanic Clusters. This new formula now vacuums up two times as much oil and impurities as the old formula! Finely-ground walnut shell powder and AHAs remove dead skin cells, while Jeju Volcanic Clusters help draw out excess oils and impurities from pores. I love using this guy because the pores on my nose always look super cleared out after I wash it off (this is my worst problem area on my face!), and it leaves my skin feeling super smooth. Brb, I’ll be buying the rest of the masks from Innisfree’s pore clearing collection ✌🏻 🧖🏻♀️ Last but not least, the ribbon hair band included in this set! It’s probably the best hair band I’ve used yet, and it’s only $6. It’s so cute and it’s tight enough to keep my hair way out of my face, without making it all too tight or uncomfortable.

innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask I discovered this mask from my sister who has an endless beauty shelf. She made me try this because I kept on complaining about how big my pores become. I trust her opinion on skin since we’re both obsessed with skincare and we love researching about ingredients and the science behind a particular product. I tried her volcanic mask, and it did feel great when I took it off after leaving it on for about 15 minutes. I think the key to a hydrated skin (when using masks) is to clean it properly, mask it on, then layer all the hydrating products right after. I bought a jar for myself (it’s super affordable too so it’s a win win!) after trying the product once. I put it on top of my nose and on my cheeks- that’s it. It’s pretty drying and I have a dry combination skin so I make sure I apply it on areas alone where I have clogged pores. I use it once a week, and I’ve since seen the difference in the appearance of my blackheads. Some of the nasty blackheads on my nose have disappeared since using it. It really is a must have especially if you suffer from black or whiteheads just like me. innisfree - Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum After a clearing session with the aforementioned mask, I use this serum as one of the layers I apply on my face to bring back its natural moisture. I love that this serum is super hydrating. After the first try, it felt like my skin was drenched with moisture. I didn’t even feel the need to put on my usual moisturizer when I use this. I especially love applying this all over my face, my neck, and my decolletage area. It has been about a couple of months since I’ve been using this. I don’t use this every day though as I like switching up my products. I’ve seen that this practice works great on my skin. If you’re looking for a hydrating serum that fits the budget, this is the product to go for.

I lavaloveeee this Innisfree clay mask 🔥
Innisfree | pore clearing clay mask 2x, with super volcanic clusters | $15 for 100 mL 🌋 • this pore-clearing solution is a wash off mask, which can be used to exfoliate and clear blackheads, absorb excess oil, and help improve the overall look/texture of skin. • The Innisfree pore clearing mask is to be used 1-2x per week. Avoiding eye & lip area. • Target concerns are normal, combination, and oily skin types. This product addresses the following concerns: pores, oiliness, dullness, and uneven texture. It contains jeju volcanic clusters, which are designed to help absorb excess sebum. It also contains lactic acid, which helps exfoliate skin and reduce the appearance of pores. • It has a slight grunge green color to it (what you would expect from a clay mask); the mask is of a creamy, clay consistency. Once applied to the face, it reminds me of a “zombie vibe,” but that’s my opinion lol 🧟♀️ • I have used the Innisfree clay mask only a handful of times, but it has yet to make my skin feel taut and stressed, like some clay masks have done in the past. I decided to try this because of the price and then realized the price reflected the size of the product – the cost is $15 for 100 mL. • I do like this product, mostly because the claims made hold true. I do feel that the oil in my t-zone decreased after using the mask, relative to most days prior to using the mask. It literally felt like my face was cleaner – perhaps because of the tingling, cool sensation the clay mask leaves behind after you wash it off. The cool lasted for about ten minutes. 🥶 • I totally recommend this product. I have sensitive skin, so I keep the mask on for 8 minutes, then wash it off. I am conservative with timing, so as to avoid my face being irritated. After two uses, I noticed significant changes in my skin – namely, the decrease of blackheads around the edge of my nostrils and in the middle of my chin. 😻👌🏼 • The product is worth the price; my estimate is that this product will total up to 10 uses. 🤲🏼 • 5/5 because it exfoliates and controls oils, which are the two claims Innisfree makes. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clearing Clay Mask
First off I have to admit that purchasing the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clearing Clay Mask 2X was on impulse, which is something I always do 🤫 If you remember Innisfree’s collaboration with Toy Story, there’s this super cute Woody set that had the full size product of this mask, alongside some other samples. I’ve heard a ton of great things about this product previously (which explains why I just went for it when the collaboration dropped), but trying it out for the past year has really justified this purchase because it is surprisingly a great mask to use! 🧡 This mask is marketed as an “all-in-one pore caring solution” targeted at people with troubled skin and acne to help clear their complexion with regular use. It aims to do a triple exfoliation, removing sebum, blackheads, as well as other dirt and impurities on the face. Apart from this, it also tightens, smoothens, and brightens the skin at the same time. The texture of this mask is pretty interesting: in the tub the product looks like a very smooth clay mask. When you apply it though there are these little grains you can feel in the product; not too sure if they are walnut shells because I read somewhere that the product has walnut shells in them, but I’m not too sure. Even then this doesn’t bother me too much; but if you have sensitive skin you might want to stay away from this one. It has a very dense consistency, and unlike other clay masks, this works a lot better when you use a thin layer instead of a thick one. I’ve used this several times over the course of 1 year and I’m so proud to say that I’m close to finishing it! I actually really like this mask - while I cannot testify for its complexion-clearing benefits since I don’t really have very troubled skin, my face does feel thoroughly cleansed (in a good way!) and really really smooth after use. The most consistent I got to using this was once a week and in that period my skin did look a lot clearer than normal, so props to this mask 🙌🏼 Overall though I definitely would recommend this to my friends! I’m not sure how much this costs in varying countries, but locally this is really affordable at around 15 USD - the results are definitely more than worth this price tag in my opinion. Plus you get a sizeable amount of product with this too, and since you don’t need a lot to make this work, this tub will definitely last you a long time. innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask
