Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
Happy #TextureTuesday y’all! I hope this week is doing you all some good lol 😂 For me, starting tomorrow it will be extra busy until the weekend so 🙃🙃🙃 This lovely lush and yellow texture is brought to you buy the @sundayriley ice ceramide moisturizing cream. I have heard a lot of good things about the brand’s products and a lot of negative things about the brand itself. I have never tried anything from this brand and whenever I went over to their little section at Sephora to test out their infamous oils, I was kind of turned off by their scents. I am very sensitive to smells and I just couldn’t stand how their oils smelled. Maybe because their testing products have been out for a while and maybe it’s bc they went bad? Idk do they normally smell that bad? Anyways, @cherie kindly gifted me this Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream and I was blown away by the packaging. It felt so luxe and heavy and well very promising. As soon as I opened the lid to see the consistency, I smelled play-dough. Like straight up play-dough. Is it just me? 😭 This cream is geared towards normal to dry skin and I have oily skin so I knew instantly that it probably won’t work for me. Y’all she is THICC like T H I C C! This cream is said to be formulated with ceramide that hydrates and strengthens the skin’s barrier from environmental stressors. I tried a pea sized amount and that was more than enough to put all over my face and neck. I tested this cream out in the morning when I went out for a jog in the colder weather and I have to say, it did a great job! Like my face didn’t feel tight at all. It was well moisturizers but I did notice that my face also felt a bit greasy when I came home. And I could still smell the play-dough scent! So I passed this cream to my mom who has dry skin and so far she has been loving it. It comes with this little scooper thing and she says she doesn’t mind the play-dough smell. 🥰 What are your experiences with this brand? I am curious to know if their oils are really HG for people and if so, do they normally smell that bad?

Gimme ALL the ceramides cause
Gimme ALL the ceramides cause mama’s skin is dry!! I recently received the NEW @sundayriley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream* and have been using it for the past week and I have to tell you, my dehydrated skin has been drinking it up and even after the first night using it I noticed an immediate smoothing and more youthful plumpness in my skin. - This is a pro-ceramide moisturizer that helps to strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors for plump-looking, baby-soft skin. If you a huge fan of AHA/BHAs like myself this is also a great option for helping with that compromised barrier that can result from overusing acids. This beauty also contains Vitamin F which replenishes lipid levels and strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier and Coconut which increases skin moisturization (may not be suitable for super sensitive skin types). - The texture on this moisturizing cream is rich and initially feels thick but it absorbs in perfectly after about 10-15 minutes. I find the scent to be on the fruity side with hints of citrus, melon and berries. It’s nice and refreshing but also quickly dissipates after application. While this hadn’t been on my radar previously, I am very happy with the results and think it is a really wonderful option for dryer/dehydrated skin types during the Fall/Winter months. At $65 for 1.7oz it is consistent with others in the same category and a product I would repurchase.SUNDAY RILEY - Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream

Anti-Aging Tips for Your 20s💁🏻‍♀️
Anti-Aging Tips for Your 20s💁🏻‍♀️
Dermatologists actually recommended that it would be best to actually start using anti-aging products in your 20s. What should I be doing for my skin in my 20’s? Here are some recommendations and products that I found really helpful for me as well as some skin care tips for aging prevention in your 20s, I am 26, used to be combination oil, currently is combination dry. Sensitive during Autumn and Winter. I honestly just started to use anti-aging products last year and already feel like i should start earlier. Anti-aging product can help us to prevent signs of aging First thing we should do in 20s, is to use something active. Such as glycolic or retinol. Topicals like glycolic and retinol can help the appearance of fine lines, at the same time, also help boost collagen and reduce signs of premature aging, such as creepiness, age spots, and fine lines. Retinol is safe to use for both men or women in their 20s to help turn over those cells a little bit faster while minimizing fine lines and pigmentation. It is also recommended to use chemical peels periodically. Chemical peel normally works to slough off that top layer of dead cells and basically help the texture tone of the skin. Next recommendation is to use a vitamin C serum. Vitamin C serum is a great antioxidant. It is a natural stuff protecting and brighten up the skin Last but not least, of course, is Sunscreen. If you can, I highly recommend Wear sunscreen 365 days a year. Here are the products that I use for now and they are working well for me. However, you can also look for products that’s works best based on your age and skin type. It is never too early to start anti aging, find the right products would help to reduce and prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and lock your skin condition at your 20s. JULY ALLURE BOX❤️
JULY ALLURE BOX❤️
PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum 🧡 This product contains peach extract and a peptide complex that promise a luminous and translucent glow. I’ve been hearing a lot about this serum and I’m so excited that allure included it in this months box!! The packaging is cute and chic and also very sturdy. This products retails at $39 which I feel is appropriate. The formula feels very light weight and almost disappears into the skin immediately. I have to use it a few more times to pass a final judgement but so far so good, plus I love that this brand is cruelty, toxin and gluten free! SUNDAY RILEY - Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream 🤍 Sunday Riley is another brand that’s been getting a lot of hype lately and I’m finally getting to try one of their products thanks to Allure! This product contains ceramide, a lipid that helps skin retain moisture and also protects it from environmental irritants. I’m not going to lie, I’m not crazy about the smell but the cream is definitely very hydrating. The full size is $65 for 1.7 oz which is a bit pricey. I’m going to use it a few more times before I decide if it’s going to be a part of my skin care routine for sure but I’m not mad at it. OSEA - Ocean Cleanser 💚 This product contains organic seaweed, vegan lactic acid, lime, cypress, and juniper which claims to remove surface impurities, minimize pores and energize the skin. It does have a lime scent but I find that it isn’t over powering. The consistency is more that of a gel and it doesn’t foam up too much which is great because I find foaming face washes too be a little too drying for my skin. I will say my skin does feel very clean and refreshed after using this product and $48 for 5 oz is pretty good! Idk if it could replace my holy grail cleanser but it’s very nice and I do recommend it. BEAUTANIQ BEAUTY - Butter Lip & Cheek Balm ❤️ This is an all in one cream product that can be used on the lips, cheeks, eyes, any where really. It contains apricot, coconut, grape seed and pomegranate oils for a hydrating feel. It’s kind of sheer but definitely buildable. Truthfully I don’t wear a lot of blush but on a “no make up” make up day I know this would come in handy for a dewy fresh finish. It’s a small jar for $16 but it looks like it would last you a really long time. I don’t find myself struggling to blend it (which I hate when dealing with cream products) so I would recommend if you’re more of a fresh face make up type of girl/guy. LAPCOS - Daily Skin Mask Charcoal 🖤 Haven’t actually tried this yet because I’m very skeptical of sheet charcoal masks, idk why lol. Will keep you guys updated once I do! ($14) AVARELLE - Acne Cover Patch 💙 Another product I haven’t tried yet because surprisingly I’ve been having good skin lately! Once I get a breakout which I know I will soon in this NYC heat haha I’ll post my results! ($8.50 for 40 patches 😄) Very happy with this months box!❤️

I’m always open to trying new skincare products, especially moisturizers. After receiving a sample, I recently picked up the Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream. This is a fairly new addition to their product line and one that is not talked about very often. This cream is is formulated with ceramides, vitamin F, as well as coconut. It’s marketed to be a product that strengthens the skin’s natural moisture barrier and replenishes the elasticity and firmness of the face. Overall, I found this product to be just okay. Some days it works really nice, but other days it just sits on the top of the skin — but that could just be dependent on how my skin is. One really great thing about this product is the way it clings to the skin. It’s a very thick and creamy texture, so it grabs on the the surface of the face and remains there until removed. This isn’t necessarily a product I would recommend (especially because it’s pretty pricey), but one that you could purchase if you want to try something new to switch up your routine!

Got this as a sample, and used it in my travel bag as a night cream and I loved how nourishing and creamy it was. Its full of ceramides so its good for antiaging, something I of course couldnt tell from use of this small jar, but would definitely consider buying to try the full size. The texture was great, it was nice and thick and creamy, but not in a way that felt too heavy. I have oily skin so I definitely appreciated that, but because it was thicker i used it at night, and I liked the results, especially how my skin felt after application and in the morning. I would love to try more Sunsay Riley products, they sound soo great and after a good experience with this baby sample, I’m intrigued to try more. #cheriepartner
