Some things I’ve found myself reaching for a lot lately! I’ve been reaching for a lot of hydrating products and brightening products to maintain that glowy skin. I like to use the FUR OIL in my weekly baths and regularly after showering and using the silk scrub. I also use BIO-OIL on my body and sometimes in the bath as a massage oil if I have any tension. I’ve been rotating the Omorovicza silver skin saviour mask and their deep cleansing mask – two of my favorites right now. Sometimes I’ll substitute the deep cleansing mask for the Asarai Australian red clay mask (detoxing and brightening). None of these masks dry out my skin and I actually have seen immediate glowing results from the Asarai mask! On my lips every night is the HG Laneige lip sleeping mask. I’ve used this for years with zero disappointments! It’s especially nice after doing a little lip scrub from Apa Beauty with their lip loofah 🙌🏼 During the day I’ve been testing the 107oneoseven cream essence which gives the perfect amount of hydration during the day (maybe not for dry skin) and also includes brightening ingredients. I usually layer this with an SPF moisturizer for sun protection. At night I use the Embryolisse Usa hydra-masque as an overnight mask. Lastly, AMIKA never EVER lets me down and always gives me the best hair days. Their reset line has done wonders on my scalp and I’ll continue to use it into winter because that’s when my scalp tends to get itchy and dry.
107-COREFLEX CREAM ESSENCE (50ml)
ASARAI was founded by a naturopath from Australia with the goals of keeping it simple & real. The line has really fun bright yellow packaging with the bonus of being affordable Earth Tones Face Mask is a detox clay mask that uses Australian red clay. It’s also got aloe, kakadu plum (highly in vitamin c), rainforest lime (natural exfoliant) & sunflower seed oil. This masks is a detox, brighten, smooth, calm inflammation & tighten/unclog pores mask. I’m always scared of a drying clay mask but this one was pretty good at not being too drying. Plus how cute is that turn key to get every last bit out Power Trip Vitamin Oil is a nourishing oil with sunflower, camellia, safflower, sweet almond, vitamins c & e, moringa & sandalwood oils. It’s also got coconut triglycerides so that gives the oil that slightly thicker texture. It’s rich but not heavy or greasy. I adore the yellow glass bottle.

THIS MASK HELPED MY ACNE THE MOST 💖
As someone with combination skin, I have acne-prone skin. As soon as my breakouts start to fade, a few new ones appear on my face. To be honest, these breakouts tend to get worse when I’m stressed or eating crap food but this mask 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 literally saved my skin. This is my second tube of the mask- and trust me a little goes a long way (my previous one lasted me a year)! ASARAI - Earth Tones Face Mask $35, 50ml INGREDIENTS: Australian Red Clay Australian White Kaolin Clay Kakadu Plum Rainforest Line Fruit Extract Sunflower Seed Oil Aloe Vera Juice WHAT IT DOES: This mask basically helps to detoxify impurities, unclog pores and help with inflammation of the skin (which a breakout counts as)! WHY I LOVE IT: This helped clear up my skin so much. I use it 2-3x a week and it’s not too drying or harsh on the skin. I have tried so many different “acne-banishing” masks that have made no or just temporary difference to my skin and this one actually did something. It’s gentle and effective. What else could I ask for? Have you tried this mask before?

6 Skincare Tips from a Celebrity EstheticianIt’s been eight weeks since COVID-19 has caused us to shelter in place with the goal of putting an end to the novel coronavirus. While social distancing is playing an essential role in our health, the same can’t be said for our beauty routines. For beauty buffs, the lockdown has meant an abrupt halt to our routine visits to our facialists, dermatologists, and everything in between. What’s more, staying indoors has limited our exposure to vitamin D (which our skin needs to thrive), heeded unhealthy eating habits (which can wrack havoc on our skin), and turned us all into our very own (albeit mildly inexperienced) esthetician. To ensure our skin and well-being is taken care of during such a confusing time, we tapped into celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau. Below, she’s sharing six self-care tips to practice as you social distance.May 20
