This or That — Face Mist
Facial Mist! I know this is kind of a controversial step, some say this is a bad step in skincare, while others think it’s necessary. For me, it is a really necessary step. I tend to like to layer mists between the steps in my routine and then I finish with a light layer of mist. Living in Florida, mists are such a great way to keep cool and integrate skincare. Here are my favorites... CAUDALIE - Grape Water My all-time holy grail mist. I’ve gone through so many bottles of this, and I always have at least a few on hand. It has a really fine mist, and I think it really helps my other skincare products to absorb well. Plus, it enhances the skin’s hydration by 127%! If there is one product that I’ve recommended to almost everyone I talk to about skincare, it’s this one. MARIO BADESCU - Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner A cult classic, it’s inexpensive, and it feels wonderful. I’ve recommended this to countless people, and I feel that it really helps to calm redness and irritation. Another one I’ve gone through countless bottles of. I don’t find that this one hydrates at all, it’s more of just a “froofroo” step when you use this product. Although this is a product that I’ve purchased a bunch of times, it’s one that I finished and haven’t repurchased in a while because I found ones that I love more. fresh - Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Face Mist A vitamin C mist that smells like oranges and gives your skin a gloooow (I only use this at night). This is an excellent facial spray and one I like to use during more luxe routines + spa days! The only downside to this is that it sometimes stings a bit when I apply it, but not always. I suspect that this mist is best not to use with other active ingredients. However, the scent and mist makes this a really nice product to use. Which one is my favorite? By far, Caudalie Grape Water is my favorite. It is inexpensive, has a super fine mist, and is ultra-hydrating.
💕I love using a double cleansing method to gently remove my makeup. Makeup wipes have never been my favorite thing ever so using an oil to massage all my makeup off has been amazing without leaving greasy feeling on my face. ✨trying the primera miracle seed essence to get a some more hydration into my skin. Is this anyone else’s holy grail product? 💕 the pores on my t zone have been awful! Drunk elephant’s TLC framboos glycolic night serum has been one of my go tos! It helps so much with keeping my pores free of white heads and blackheads! ✨nothing beats the tatcha water cream! When you start massaging it into your skin. It just burst into water and feels so cool and refreshing. 💕 clarins lip oil with hazelnut oil in honey is so nice as a light lip oil if you don’t want anything too thick on your lips. It also makes a good lipgloss during the day TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash MARIO BADESCU - Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner primera - Miracle Seed Essence DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. My Accutane Routine- Plz Critique
MARIO BADESCU - Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner This is actually an empty to be honest. I just refilled it with witch hazel because ai love the container. But while I was using the actual product my skin was great. RATA & CO. - Rose Water & Witch Hazel Facial Mist Toner Honestly I don’t even know if this works. It just feels nice and is kinda fun to use. It has Vitamin C and aloe vera but I will have to use it more. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Boring I know but it gets the job done. The pumps are kinda small though, I have to apply to wet skin in order to cover my whole face but It kinda reacts weird with water. Like it doesn’t blend into my skin. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I love the texture to this product and have no genuine complaints. HAWAIIAN Tropic - Silk Hydration Air Soft Ultra-Light Sun Lotion SPF50 I feel like this isn’t very good. I love the scent though and the color makes it unnoticeable. I don’t feel like I’m wearing sunscreen. Very lightweight. CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum I have seen a noticeable difference in my acne scarring but have to use it more. CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I LOVE how gentle this cleanser is. It feels super nice. That’s it. #Studio 35 Beauty - Vitamin E Skin Oil[products]#[FourStars] Very heavy but I only wear at night. Also with being on accutane, the first few weeks I would wake up with very dry skin. But my skin isn’t dry at all in the morning while applying this on parts of my face along with the vitamin C serum. NATURE'S TRUTH - Professional Vitamin C Serum I wake up glowing when I apply this at night. Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil No I don’t apply this to my face but just in general my whole skin gets super dry with the medication, so this also acts as a moisturizer for stretch marked parts of my legs and works amazing. Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant Holy grail for dry lips and recommended by my dermatologist. ChapStick - Total Hydration Moisture + Tint Lip Balm This came in a gift basket for a white elephant last christmas. But the color is great and it’s just fun to use. Gets the job done, especially before Zoom classes. Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip Balm LOVE THIS!!!! World’s best lip balm. Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Works wonders for dry accutane skin on your body. Let me note that I have no idea what I’m doing. Please give me any advice if I’m doing something wrong, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!❤️

The skincare products I gave away 🙅🏻♀️
Recently I picked up a couple of MARIO BADESCU products with generally good reviews to incorporate into some empty spots in my skincare regime. My skin is normal to dry, non-acne prone and sensitive in my eye area but otherwise pretty easy to manage. My aim introducing a toner was to really clear my skin to make my pores appear more refined and to try a facial spray to boost hydration during the day between my AM and PM routines. The MARIO BADESCU Witch Hazel & Rosewater toner is described as being a mild toner which doesn’t strip the skin and contains aloe to soothe and hydrate. I used the toner daily in the PM after my Philosophy Purity cleanser for a week and my impressions were: My skin was uncomfortably tight and took a lot of effort and additional product than usual to rehydrate after using this toner. Within the first 24 hours I’d developed small irritated dry patches around my mouth and chin, these cleared once I stopped using the toner and my skin renewed. I tried twice again and both times caused the same irritation to my skin. There was no improvement to my skin texture or appearance of my pores during use Artificial perfumes 👎🏻 The MARIO BADESCU Aloe, Sage and Orange Blossom facial spray is an infusion of essential water and botanical extracts touted as refreshing the skin and improving tone and clarity. I used the spray daily mid-day and my impressions were: Fragrance is nice enough from a distance but there is a lot of artificial perfume in this product which I don’t feel is great Refreshing when sprayed but didn’t hydrate my skin or have any benefit to the appearance of my skin My Rating: MARIO BADESCU - Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Sage and Orange Blossom The toner didn’t sit well with my skin at all, I wouldn’t recommend this product if you have dry or sensitive skin as I found it very harsh and dehydrating. The facial spray while not offensive I found pointless in my daily skincare regime as, while it didn’t have a negative affect on my skin like the toner, it didn’t do anything for my skin. I literally gave both of these products away to a friend to try and I wouldn’t repurchase.

Need help with my oily and acne prone skin
I need help on what products I should keep, add, or replace. I have oily and acne prone skin and I have my current skincare routine on the 4th picture. The cleanser is new so I don’t totally know if it helps or hurts. Before I used cetaphil dermacontrol cleanser. Also parts of my skincare are from skincare from hyram. I also would like y’all to recommend products to help with the acne on my forehead, that happens the worse when I’m about to be on my period. And the blackheads or clogged pores on my nose, cheek, and chin. If you need me to answer any questions don’t hesitate!
