Current (Daytime) Skincare Routine
I’m someone who subscribed to the saying more isn’t always necessarily better, so when taking this picture I contemplated taking out some products in the picture to seem like I have my routine on lock. The truth is I’m constantly researching new products and trying new samples almost weekly. I then decided to add a selfie that was taken five minutes before writing this post to show my skin (I know I’m wearing makeup) and how well it’s been doing while wearing a full face of makeup in the summer. I have sensitive skin and eczema, so any products I use on my face I have to thoroughly research to ensure my eczema flare ups (which become aggravated in the heat) stay under control. With all that being said, my current daytime routine is as follows: - Wash face with Murad - Clarifying Cleanser follow with fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash to exfoliate (if I have a flare up/broken skin I skip the exfoliating step) - With a cotton pad I pump some CAUDALIE - Moisturizing Toner onto the pad and wipe on my face - Follow with THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum and THE inkey LIST - 15% Vitamin C and EGF to brighten the face - Next, I apply TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream onto the orbital bone and outer corner of my eyes (added bonus: cool a jade roller and gently massage your eye area to decrease puffiness) - Then comes TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream (I plan on dedicating a whole post to this product) - This next step confused me at first until I researched why it’s okay to use OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow Cycle Retin-ALT Power Serum in the daytime! When I hear Retinol/retinoids/retin-anything I tend to believe that it should only be used at night but this product has bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol alternative. This groundbreaking age-defying serum, powered with AHAs and bakuchiol—a natural alternative to retinol— fights all major signs of aging and more. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, visibly firms, and reduces the look of pores. I’ve been using this product for about a week now and the difference is *chefs kiss* (More on this later) - After that I apply my oil The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil - Lastly, and my most favorite part is sunscreen to the face and neck area! Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Supergoop is undefeated in my eyes! Then comes the makeup (if I have the energy to put it on). Absolutely obsessed with most of the products I’m using as of right now, but always looking forward to educating myself on something better! I attached a quote that’s been getting me through the week🙌🏽🖤

Trying new things...
Soooooo here we go- Previously on my face (in tv show announcer voice) So I started out a few years ago trying out different eye serums & not really loving any but then I started using Dr Dennis Gross - Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum & it is magical for dark circles!! I am fair skinned (like vampire) so my skin under my eyes is thin & allows the pigmentation underneath show thru a bit easier than most.... Therefore this was a lifesaver for my under eye dark circles & dipping my toe into the water for eye serums....my problem with this magical serum? It didn’t really do anything for my fine lines under my eyes.... 😩 So in strolls SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream meh...super soft & moisturizing but not knocking me out of the park with my fine lines or really my dark circles......at all....combine this with dr dennis gross & my eyes are hydrated & then dark circles are gone but....moving on So then I tried TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream & this stuff helps with the dark circles under my eyes & feels absolutely amazing (disclaimer-if you have sensitive skin do not mix this bad boy with dr dennis gross-that combo dried out my eyes so bad it was painful.....tho I learned that the only product that you can use on your skin that is USUALLY SAFE when needing to hydrate is plain ol’ vasoline-helped me on multiple occasions with skin problems) but same issues with my fine lines....ugh Added in TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK before I put on the peony silk eye cream & still....meh.... So-whilst looking for a clean option for an eye serum (realizing it’s prolly a good idea to be good to my skin now in my 20s) I stumbled across Drunk elephant & tonight I’m finally trying one of their eye serums!! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum First impressions? Not a big fan of the smell... Jeeze! the pump puts out enough product for 3 people’s eyes But after it absorbed a bit....I feel the tightening I’m not dried out & I have hopes....not exactly high hopes but hopes.... We shall see!!

Some good products 👏
⭐️Cosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream: My favorite cream ATM. Extremely hydrating. It's great for winter/fall, I've now switched it out for a gel cream for the hotter months. COSRX - Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream ⭐️First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: A solid moisturizer. Doesn't feel heavy but is a very good moisturizer when my skin is acting out. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream ⭐️Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Air Dry Creme: Love how this hair cream amplifies my hair's natural texture. It enhances the waves while imparting a nice scent. I apply this to my damp hair and comb through. KRISTIN ESS - Weightless Shine Air Dry Crème ⭐️Klavuu Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack: This looks beautiful on the lips, like a thick, wet gloss, but doesn't actually do too much for my lips. I have other lip masks I prefer. KLAVUU - Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack ⭐️Versed Day Dissolved Cleansing Balm: This gets the job done, but if you use too little water it creates a strange almost gummy texture. It wasn't my favorite cleansing balm. VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm ⭐️Boscia Vegan Collagen Booster Serum: I love this serum, it's a great texture and the packaging is an airless pump which keeps it sanitary, fresh, plus looks super cute. This is a product that you don't see immediate results with but I like mixing it with my strong LAA products. boscia - Vegan Collagen Booster Serum ⭐️Tatcha Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream: This is a super thick eye cream. It's great for winter and colder months or for anyone with super dry under eyes. I don't use it too often but it does give a nice glow to the undereye area.TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream ⭐️Kristin Ess Soft Shine Beach Wave Spray: I love this spray. It's meant to be used on dry hair. It's like a texture spray but it also enhances my natural waves. A little goes a long way so this will last me a while. KRISTIN ESS - Soft Shine Beach Wave Spray 🤍Let me know if you have questions about any of these products! ⬇️

Tuesday/Thursday Night Time Routine!
Are you guys ready to take a look at my night time routine? 1st Slide = double cleanse 2nd Slide = tone, essence, refresher, exfoliant 3rd Slide = serums, night cream + 2 HA drops, eye cream 4th Slide = self care bonus! I double cleanse because I want to loosen up the oils and sebum that’s have built over the course of the day AND break down sunscreen. Unfortunately, the toner has fragrance and I’ve already noticed a slight tingly sensation since using it for a couple of weeks now. I don’t want to waste this product so after I finish it, I won’t be purchasing it again. I’ve already found a substitute to start using and I’ll post here/IG with my thoughts. The essence is amazing and the facial mist is lovely! The liquid exfoliant is AMAZING! I’ve been using it for a week or so and I can see a difference when I use it. I added it to my routine on Tues/Thurs and, if necessary, I use it as a spot treatment for any break outs due to my time of the month, stress, etc. As far as the Hyaluronic Acid goes, I like to add just a tiny bit more moisture in my routine at night hence the 2 drops. I put them into my hand and work it into my skin with my night cream. I do this as I don’t want to overdo it with with product especially since I use 2 serums. I know that the dewy skin cream by Tatcha is for normal to dry skin. However, I find that my skin enjoys this product as a night time moisturizer! The rose quartz vibrating face roller + massager was a steal! I got it off amazon and I love doing it every night to help me get ready for bed.

Silk Peony eye cream
This is one of my all time favorite eye creams along with the cru caudalie line. I have dark dry under eye circles and this baby makes it so I don’t have to wear concealer. It’s pricey. $60ish I believe I bought it during the Sephora sale so I got 20% off but I find its very worth it! 5/5 best eye cream! And look how cute the design of the little bottle is!!
TATCHA-The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream
My Favourite AM Eye Cream
[Review] Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream This is my favourite eye cream for the AM especially, when I am wearing eye makeup. I love the unique silk balm texture. It reminds me of a makeup primer. It is smooth, silky and melts into your skin so effortlessly. For me, this is in between an eye cream and primer. What I like most about this eye cream is that, it really helped with filling in my fine lines and dry patches. My under eyes looked more plump, smooth and less ‘sunken’ in. It created the illusion of the blurred out filter look. I also like how it provided the right amount of hydration. It felt very comfortable and weightless. This is one of the few eye cream that actually sits well under concealer. It blends so well and I had no problems with pilling. Also, works great as an eyeshadow primer. I noticed that my eyeshadow applies more smoothly, the colour pigment is a lot better and lasted longer. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream
