Grape Fruit Water
Is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that occurs as a natural compound in plants. It has direct activity as an anti-inflammatory agent and acts as a topical antibacterial agent due to it’s ability to promote exfoliation. Benefits: 🔸 Fights acne 🔸 Decreses oil secretion 🔸 Reduces inflammation and redness 🔸 Removes dead skin cells Side effects: can irritate (peeling, redness) and dry on very sensitive skin. So, this ingredient is best known for it's exfoliating and bacteria-fighting powers, I like it because it’s not an aggressive acid and it works well cleaning the pores and get rid of pimples. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser This gel cleanser contains 100% natural salicylic acid, helps to minimize the appearance of pores, blemishes and oil. It is ideal for oily skin and combination. The texture of this cleanser is lightweight gel that foams when applied on damp skin. I really don't like the way this smells, but works well by cleaning my pores and drying pimples faster, without irritation and without drying my skin. After using it my skin feels clean and fresh. Although it contains essential oils such as the beauty elixir, but this product doesn’t cause me irritation or redness. Price: $ 28 (5 oz). TULA SKINCARE - Keep It Clear Acne Foam Cleanser Gentle foam cleanser with salicylic acid and licorice, treats regular or occasional breakouts leaving skin looking soft and glowing. Contains 2% salicylic acid, one of the highest for sale without a prescription. This is recommended for oily skin, combination, mature, dry and acne prone. It has a foam texture, making it easy to apply and remove. The aroma of this cleanser is strong, it smells like tea tree oil. I like it because it doesn't dry my skin when I use it either, and it leaves it very fresh. It has helped me to stop new pimples. Price: $ 34 (6.3 oz). THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser Lightly foaming cleanser that removes makeup and dirt, helping to reduce blackheads, acne and blemishes while unclogging pores. They recommend it for oily, combination and normal skin. This one like the previous one also has 2% salicylic acid. I just started using this but it has given me very good results in the pimples that come out occasionally without irritating or drying my skin, leaving it soft. It has a light and clean fragrance. Price: $ 9.99 (5 oz). This is by far the cheapest of the three, and it really works just as well as the other two. I like the results I get with them since they don’t irritate my skin. In my opinion any of the 3 are a good investment, I just started using the cleanser of The Inkey list, but I could say that it’s the one I like the most, because it has a subtle smell and leaves my skin soft after using it, in addition to having a good price.

Summertime Skin Care!
My oily skin has been absolutely THRIVING in the summer heat. Because of this, I had to go around on a scavenger hunt to find a product that would work well and get rid of my oily and acne-prone conditions. So, after searching high and low for a solution, I came across the CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser. For those of you who do not know who Caudalie is, they are a French skin care brand who specialize in natural ingredients derived from grapes and the grapevine. The products at Caudalie are clean and natural, and most of their products are listed as sulphate-, paraben-, phthalate- free. Because of this, I was excited to try this product out. I got it about 2 months ago, and I have been using it almost daily. This product is wonderful for my oily skin because of the key ingredients: Salicylic acid and essential oils. These two ingredients work to target the production of sebum, which is what makes your skin look oily, shiny, or even dull! I have noticed that in the last two months, my skin is looking healthier, fresher, and the oil production has been under control! And not only does it look better, the texture has improved too! My pores have shrunk visibly especially around the T-zone area, and my skin feels smooth to touch. This is the best cleanser! It smells amazing. The consistency is perfect for summer, and really any time of the year, as it is very hydrating but still a powerful clean. I really enjoy using the cleanser, and the gel consistency is wonderful. I use it twice a day and I feel that this is best for my skin type. However, if you know that your skin is sensitive, I would suggest starting once a day, or once in two days, then work your way up because the product can be a little drying. At $28 I think the product is a little expensive for my taste, but it does wonders for my skin. If you are looking for the solution to your acne problems, this purifying gel is the way to go!

Summer Favs for Sensitive Skin
☀️ + my acne med leave my skin super sensitive to products. But I've tested two that I'm enjoying to keep my skin clean and hydrated, irritation free. Below, I broke down their key ingredients, how they felt to apply, and how my skin improved. CAUDALIE - Grape Water 🥝 FOR: All skin types- normal, oily, combo, sensitive, etc. It does not treat acne, but says it reduces redness, evens skin texture, and hydrates the skin. 🍇 INGREDIENTS: grape water / juice, and nitrogen Grape water contains polysaccharides, mineral salts, and polyphenols. Polysaccharides are molecules responsible for hydrating the upper layer of your skin. Polyphenols contain resveratrol, which act as antioxidants fighting free radicals. Meanwhile, mineral salts are calcium, potassium, and other important things you need to get in your diet- But put directly on your skin. 🌿APPLICATION: I mist the grape water whenever I feel hot, or sometimes just to feel its cooling effect. After applying, the cool feeling still tingles on my face for up 20 minutes. ✨EFFECT: It makes my skin feel bouncy after application- A good sign of hydration. It also made my skin look healthy without being oily. My skin is prone to spots of redness and allergies. But when I applied the spray, I did find the redness reduced in minutes. PS: Applying it over my makeup can reduce the look of too much powder. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser 🥝 FOR: Oily and Combination Skin. Aims to reduce pores, blemishes, and excess oil. 🍇 INGREDIENTS: The first ingredients include grape water, and Decyl Glucoside. That last one is a natural, gentle cleanser often used in baby shampoo- A good sign for sensitive skin. It has acne-fighting Salicylic Acid + It's also packed with a LOT of different oils known for their antibacterial properties, like Rosemary, Peppermint, Lavundula, and Lemon Balm oil. Rosemary helps control oil, and the Peppermint can soothe inflamed skin. 🌿APPLICATION: This cleanser has a light, runny texture. It sort of feels like fresh aloe, though not as jelly-like. A dime-sized amount is good for your whole face. After rinsing and drying, my skin did not feel dry or oily. ✨EFFECTS: Before this product, I was used to alcohol-based cleansers that made my skin feel dry after application. You know the kind of dryness that your finger skids on? That. As for oiliness, I think the cleanser has keep mine at bay. I have noticed my pores look cleaner, especially between my eyebrows and on my nose. Otherwise, my skin looks hydrated ⭐️FINAL VERDICT⭐️ If you have sensitive, combination skin, I think these products would make good staples in your routine. They're all light enough to feel comfortable, and do what they claim enough for skin that just needs daily maintenance. At $18 and $28, I think these products could really be worth it for someone whose skin is hyper sensitive like mine.

Pore minimizing Cleanser
CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser It is a refreshing gel to foam cleanser. It is naturally-derived, sulfate-free cleanser that purifies the skin and tighten pores. It minimizes excess sebum, blackheads and blemishes. It has lightweight gel consistency that turns into foam when in contact with water. The cleanser rinses off easily and leaves no residue on the skin. It has a natural light fresh scent, which I really like. This cleanser is mainly for Combination and Oily skin. Ingredients : * The natural salicylic acid, derived from wintergreen, unclogs and tightens the appearance of pores and refines skin texture. * Grapeseed polyphenols and organic essential oils complex (cocktail of lavender, lemon balm, lemongrass, geranium, peppermint and rosemary)- antibacterial, reduces blemishes and minimizes excess sebum. * Organic grape water and Rose water- hydrates, soothes and regulates sebum production. My experience : I have used this cleanser for around a month and it is good. My skin feels fresh, clean and clear. My skin never felt very stripped but it can be a bit drying because of the ingredients in it. So, I always layer my skin with hydrating products. This cleanser never made me break out. I like the price $28/5oz which I guess is reasonable. This is a good cleanser when you are having breakouts or your skin feels very oily. I don’t think this cleanser will be for dry or sensitive skin. I would recommend it to those with oily or acne-prone skin. This product is clean, vegan and gluten-free.
