My Go-To Bronzer for...
MINIMAL – MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder Whenever I do a natural look, usually for work or just doing errands, I reach for the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Dark. I first heard about this years ago on YouTube and was intrigued by the concept of using a “foundation” powder as bronzer. But I immediately loved how it looked and have been hooked ever since. This is a very sheer formula, so it is perfect for a natural look because it is almost impossible to over-do it. It also has a pretty neutral tone, meaning it won’t make you look super sun kissed, but it isn’t cool toned like a contour powder either. At $36, I think this powder is worth it because it will last forever. I give it a 4/5 stars. NATURAL – MAKE UP FOR EVER - Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer When I want a bronzer that is going to melt into my skin and look like I have a glow from within, I go for the Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer. It has a unique gel-powder formula that seamlessly blends and melts into the skin, giving your skin a natural touchable bronze glow. This formulation is matte, but not flat, which further contributes to that natural finish. I often wear this bronzer over only a primer to achieve perfect summery bronzed skin. I have mine in shade 20M, which is a touch too dark + warm for me, but I just apply it lightly and it works really well. I can’t recommend this bronzer enough. I give it 5/5 stars! It is $36 at Sephora. SPECIAL OCCASION – GUERLAIN - Terracotta Sunkissed Natural Finish Bronzing Powder When I want to feel glam – I go for the showstopper that is Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer. This bronzer has a very faint shimmer which makes it ideal for nighttime and special events. I have mine in shade 02 Natural Blondes, which works really well for me, though it does run pretty warm, so I have to use a light touch, unless I am going full glam which is pretty rare these days. The actual product itself is what makes for the glam moment, from the compact to the scent, everything screams luxury and it really makes me feel like a princess. I absolutely love this bronzer as well, but wish it was a bit less pricey. I give it 4/5 stars. It is $54 at Sephora.

How to Make Your Beauty Bones Pop in One Minute?
Clavicles (aka your collarbones) are sometimes referred to as beauty bones for a reason - the more defined those lines are, the more “lifted” and dancer-like you’ll look! Collarbone contouring is not something I do every day, but it’s no longer a trick exclusively for red carpet events either. Since it’s the season of exposed collarbones, I like to pull out this trick when I’m in an off-shoulder dress or spaghetti strap top, ready for parties and drinks. You may not have tried it, but collarbone contouring is actually pretty easy. Essentially only two things are required: a bronzer and a highlighter - nothing different from what you use for contouring your face. I use MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder #Dark as an alternative to bronzer. It’s a slow-baked powder that has a super fine texture. This colour I use is two to three shades darker than my skin tone and has low-level pearlized pigments, so it adds dimension to my collarbone area in a very natural way. I also like how it works on foundation-less skin: it blurs pores, fine lines and sunspot effortlessly! For highlighter I use the MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter#Double Gleam. It’s a liquid powder highlighter with prismatic reflections. With just a smidgen of it, I find my skin shine with a soft, luminous glow. With the right products, contouring per se is easy. First draw some dark lines along the outline of your collarbones using the bronzer; then sweep some highlighter on top. Use a fluffy brush to blend well - you’re all set! Make sure to buff those harsh lines away, because we want a dimensional yet natural look. Now, change into your favourite low-cut dress and turn some heads with your sexy beauty bones!

MY POWDER AWARDS
Best Finish Award: Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder in Light & Medium This is my go-to powder for events and other occasions where I know I’ll be taking photos/videos. There’s just something about this powder that literally airbrushes the skin and leaves it looking extremely soft and flawless. I use the shade Light in the winter and Medium in the summer (I’ve gone through 2 of these powders already!) Goodbye pores, goodbye texture! Best Mattifying Award: rms beauty - "Un" Powder in Translucent If you’re looking for an extremely matte finish powder that won’t look or feel cakey, this is the perfect powder for you. It’s super thin, lightweight and feels invisible on the skin! The finish is super matte but doesn’t dry out the skin or emphasize pores/dryness! I have combination skin where my T-zone gets extremely shiny after a couple of hours and this powder manages to keep the area shine-free all day! Best Everyday Award: MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder in Medium My favorite everyday powder of all time! This mineral powder looks flawless on the skin while providing a hint of coverage and color, a subtle glow to the skin and help with mattifying my T-zone. This is my second compact of the powder because I love it so much! Best Shade-range Award: bareMinerals - BAREPRO Performance Wear Powder Foundation in Warm Light If you’re looking for a pressed foundation powder that truly matches your skin tone perfectly, I would recommend you in the direction of BareMinerals. They have SO many shades and in so many different undertones, there’s no way you won’t be able to find your perfect color match! This pressed powder is lightweight, yet still providing some coverage. I love it!
