This is the Neutrogena ultra sheer body mist sunscreen with SPF 30! Tbh, for my body, I’m a big fan of spray sunscreens because I can get to hard-to-reach places with it, like my back, shoulders, and thighs! Pros: great scent, not overly strong or sunscreen-y! it also covers well in places where I can rub the sunscreen in, and is water-resistant Cons: I feel like this had a pretty patchy application. It didn’t happen to me, but my friends who are more susceptible to burning also used this sunscreen and ended up with patchy red burns at the end of the day, even though we all consistently reapplied through our beach day. It also only has an SPF level of 30, which is relatively low. Overall, since I got this at the Target sale section, I’m happy with this purchase, but in the future I will not repurchase and probably go for something with a higher SPF content.

My daily skincare routine!
My daily skincare routine!
My favorite aspect of hygiene is skincare. I’ve become a bit obsessed with it for over the last year because I’m still trying to learn what works for me and what doesn’t. I am a teenager with skin that is sometimes dry combination and sometimes oily combination and while I don’t get acne that often, when I do I’m usually left with acne scars, whether I pop my pimple or not 🙃 So here’s my ratings on my skincare routine!!! Am routine; I start by oil cleansing my face with organic coconut oil, which is what is in the orange pill bottle (gotta reuse where you can LMAO) I then use Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser which I really enjoy because it doesn’t strip my face and make it feel tight or anything (it’s also fun to use because yk...it’s foam 😭) after cleansing I use Queen Helene - 100% Cocoa Butter, Stick because I’ve been using it to treat the tricky dark spots I’ve accumulated from acne and I’ve been using it ever since I became a teenager I then use the e.l.f. - Daily Hydration Moisturizer because it is lightweight but really moisturizing and it doesn’t make me look incredibly shiny finally I use Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock I use the spf 85+ one because it’s summer and almost days I am outside for some reason or another. Spf in the black community is sometimes seen as silly when it’s applied everyday (my mom thinks I’m crazy for using it on a daily basis) but I know that it’s good for you and it’s helped with my dark spots Pm routine; I start off with my organic coconut oil again because most days I have on at least mascara so I need to get my makeup off I then use Aveeno - CLEAR COMPLEXION Cream Face Cleanser With Salicylic Acid and I like it a good amount although I thought I’d see bigger results but I’m sure I have to just keep using it. I’m not the biggest fan of salicylic acid and for a really long time I avoided it because it can be so drying but since it’s summer my skin gets really oily and my little light cleansers can’t stand on their own to battle my oil and acne. I’ve had a pretty good experience with this cleanser though, it isn’t drying at all and it’s really refreshing, I just took off a star because I want to get to use it more to see how it works for me on regular nights that aren’t exfoliation nights I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and on exfoliation nights (Sunday’s and Wednesday’s ofc) I use The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (which is in the rad dispenser bottle with the blue top). I enjoy both of the products and I can really see the difference when I don’t exfoliate with the glycolic acid vs when I do. after treating my skin I go in with my coco butter again finally I use THE inkey LIST - Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer

Neutrogena ultra-sheer dry touch SPF 85 - love!
Neutrogena ultra-sheer dry touch SPF 85 - love!
For me this is a body product. When I was in Hawaii last month, I needed something waterproof and budge-proof. While I try to avoid prolonged sun exposure, I needed something I can rely on for protection when I went snorkeling. The Neutrogena ultra-sheer dry touch SPF 85 did the trick! It lasted and stuck around. I reapplied diligently per the directions on the bottle and always apply generously. It leaves a slight cast on my medium skin, but I don’t mind because the protection is so good.Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock

Fun in the Sun....the safe way

Wearing sunscreen every day is one of the best techniques/strategies for anti-aging. The Sun causes premature aging such as moles, dark spots, wrinkle, dehydration of skin, etc. The list goes on and on. I want to tell you about one of the most important products in my day skincare routine and that is the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-touch Sunscreen. This sunscreen is one of a kind and really gets the job done in a healthier way. I have been using this product for years and I hope that you will do the same. Here are a few claims for the product: “Get powerful sun protection without the heavy finish with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen. This Broad Spectrum SPF 55 sunscreen lotion with Dry-Touch technology absorbs fast for a clean, ultra-light feel and non-shiny finish. This lightweight face & body sunscreen lotion is formulated with Helioplex Technology, which offers superior broad spectrum protection from aging UVA rays and burning UVB rays. Fast-absorbing and water-resistant up to 80 minutes, this non-greasy formula is non-comedogenic, PABA-free and contains no-oxybenzone. Sun protection from the #1 dermatologist recommended brand that, when used as directed, decreases the risk of skin cancer. - Dye-free and Aluminum-free” I decided to try this product after doing a lot of research on skincare routines and what steps are very important in those routines. This sunscreen melts into my skin very quickly upon application. The texture of the product is thin. The way that it dries down, it is almost similar to a powder finish. There is a slight scent, and I mean very slight, of the “sunscreen smell. “ I like that this sunscreen completely melts into my skin and that it does not leave a white-cast. I like that it dries down completely. I would definitely recommend that you start using a sunscreen in your skincare routine and that you start with this one because of its texture. This product costs $7.49 at Target. I think that it is definitely worth the price! Overall, this product has my stamp of approval and a 5/5 star rating from me!Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock

this SPF is a broad spectrum sunscreen that is supposedly lightweight, fast absorbing & non-greasy 🌞 my experience: I don’t love this sunscreen but I don’t hate it either 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve gone through an entire bottle of this but in my opinion, it’s a little thick for my personal liking. I like that it doesn’t leave a white cast & it absorbs fairly quickly but I tend to prefer more watery consistencies - this one is definitely more like a cream consistency to me, which is why I don’t reach for it often however, for a drugstore SPF, this is a solid choice. it also happens to be my boyfriend’s favorite sunscreen. I’ve tried quite a lot of spfs and I definitely have tried a lot more lightweight formulas, which is why I knocked a star. but for $10.99 you’re getting 3 fl oz, which is actually a great deal! the one pictured is the value size from Costco so it’s 5 fl oz for about the same price 🤩 if you enjoy this spf, definitely get it for Costco to get a better price 💸 Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock
