Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen ☀️
Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 100+ - Function: This skincare product is a sunscreen known to help prevent sunburn, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun. - Target Concerns: Sunscreen protection - Texture/Consistency: White, lightweight cream - Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 15%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 10%, Oxybenzone 6% -Inactive Ingredients: Water, Styrene/acrylates Copolymer, Silica, Beeswax, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Acrylates/dimethicone Copolymer, Acrylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Fragrance, Chlorphenesin, Triethanolamine, Diethylhexyl 2,6-naphthalate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, BHT, Methylisothiazolinone - Ingredients Call Outs: Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores), PABA-free - Skin Types: For all skin types - My opinion: I first used this sunscreen product this year during the summer when I went on vacation to the beach in Florida and Denver, CO. I needed to find something quick before vacation, so I went to the nearest store (CVS) to find a good sunscreen. I’ve heard about this sunscreen from a few friends who have used it before, so I also wanted to test it out myself. The results were amazing! This product is super lightweight, non-greasy, fast absorbing and didn’t clog any of my pores or caused me to break out or have a reaction. It’s super easy to apply and has an invisible finish. You always want to try to apply 15 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply when needed. With this product, it is recommended to reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours. Recently I’ve gotten more serious with my skincare routine, but not so much with sunscreen being a part of it until doing my research. Sunscreen is very, very important! I can’t stress that enough. It has so many benefits that will help you down the road! - Recommend: Yes. - Price & Size(s): $12.99 - 3 fl. oz. (pictured) - Rating: 5/5 Stars

Sun’s out Buns Out! Pt 2: Body
Favorite body sunscreen- Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen $12.99 Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 I have to say of all the mist/spray sunscreens I have tried this one has got to be one of my absolute favorites! From the way the product sits on my skin, to the actual protection, to the application process I am obsessed. If you haven’t tried this one yet, I highly recommend ESPECIALLY because if you don’t happen to have a partner in sunscreen near by, the way this canister is made it actually lets you reach the Bermuda Triangle of you back all on your own! Ingredients: Active ingredients Avobenzone (3%), Homosalate (15%), Octisalate (5%), Octocrylene (10%), Oxybenzone (6%) Inactive ingredients Alcohol Denat., Isobutane, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Cyclopentasiloxane, Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Diethylhexyl 2,6-Naphthalate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocophero Post Sun TLC- Hawaiian Blend Aloe After Sun Lotion- $5.99 #Hawaiian Blend - Aloe after sun moisturizing lotion[products]#[FiveStars] As much as we hate to admit it, sometimes you just cant get all of you covered. Or you’re rushing and you forget to spray the tops of your feet or backs of your hands before running off into the sun. Regardless of your pigmentation but ESPECIALLY if you’re practically casper, turning into a lobster post sun bathing can be a traumatizing thing. If you cant get your hands on a legit Aloe Leaf to slather yourself in its rich slimey goodness, Hawaiian Blend Aloe After Sun Lotion is the next best thing that I have found that actually works to relieve the sting and cool the burn. ingredients: Water (Agua), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Oryza Saliva (Rice) Bran Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Polysorbate 80, Sea Whip Extract, Santalum Album (Sandalwood/Lliahi) Wood Extract, Rose Canina Fruit (Rose Hips) Oil, Piper Methysticum (Kava Kava) Extract, Macadamia (Nut) Ternifolia Seed Oil, Hedychium Coronarium (Awapuhi) Root Extract, Aleurites Moluccana Seed (Kukui Nut) Oil, PEG-12 Palm Kernel Glycerides, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Fragrance (Parfum), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Butylene Glycol, Carbomer. #sunsoutbunsout #spf #aloe #cheriecreator

BLACK PEOPLE NEED SUNBLOCK TOO ☀️
BLACK PEOPLE NEED SUNBLOCK TOO ☀️
This morning I went for a bit of a jog, 2.95 miles and realized it’s such a beautiful day to hit up a trail. I LOVE HIKING 🥾 ❤️ Because I love being outside and my job requires me to be outdoors 90% of the time, it’s crucial that I have sunblock/sunscreen for added protection to my skin. I learned this the HARD WAY when I burned for the very first time in my life back in 2015 😢 Never again y’all 🙅🏽‍♀️ Sunscreen that I’m using today are listed below ⬇️ • Neutrogena Clear Face Broad Spectrum SPF 55 • Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen abroad Spectrum SPF 100+ I’ve been using this brand of sunscreen for almost a year now and I love it. It’s super lightweight, it doesn’t make me feel greasy, and the variety of choices they have for whatever activity you’re doing is amazing (I also have Neutrogena Sport). How I apply my sunscreen 🧴: 1) Make sure your skin is clean 2) Moisturize your skin 3) Apply sunscreen VOILA ❤️Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 Neutrogena - Clear Face Oil-Free Sunscreen SPF 55

Brand: Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 100+
Brand: Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 100+
Product Function: The company claims that this product provides powerful sun protection that goes on easily, absorbs quickly, and feels lightweight on the skin. It is formulated with their Helioplex technology that offers a larger broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays Target Concerns: This is good for all skin types Texture/Consistency: This sunscreen isn’t runny unlike other sunscreens in the market; it has a thick and creamy consistency, where once it is applied on the skin, it feels dry to the touch and doesn’t leave any greasy feeling behind. Overall Opinion: I think that this sunscreen would be good for people who have oily skin. For those who have dry or combination skin, I would steer away from this because it feels dry to the touch and it also makes the skin feel dry. I also find that it doesn’t spread easily and sometimes it would clump together when spreading it around the skin, but it does do its job of protecting the ski because it has an SPF of 10+. Would I Recommend?: I would recommend this for people who have combination to oily skin because it does slightly dry the skin out, but for the price of it (which ranges around $9) and because of its high SPF, I would repurchase it when needed. Tretinoin updates! 1 month and 2 weeks in!
Tretinoin updates! 1 month and 2 weeks in!
I was feeling a bit down about my skin today so I looked at the photos from a month ago to see where my progress stands. I’ll say I’m pleased :). I used my “Skin Progress” photo album which has 51 photos in total. The album has shots of all three regions of my face and I’ve been taking these photos ever since April 18, two days after my birthday. When I feel like my skin is crappy I always look through the horrific period of time where I was using the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum *shudder* and I usually always feel a bit better about where I’m at 😭 As for now I’m really really debating incorporating a gentle chemical exfoliant like the The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HAor going back to using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%to help boost my skins recovery. I have been able to use tretinoin every night without any crazy dryness or discomfort (knock on wood) so I think I’m ready. I just don’t know whether I should incorporate something to help the tret or just let my skin do her thing. I finally have a stable skincare routine again (halllleeelluujjjaahhh) which is: Am: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water Cleocin t 1% THE inkey LIST - Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 Pm: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water ALMAY - ALMAY Makeup Remover + Foaming Lotion Cleanser Tretinoin .025% CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I’ll be back with more picture updates in two weeks for my two month benchmark!

The uphill battle with my skin
The uphill battle with my skin
“It gets worse before it gets better.” Thats become an everyday phrase for those of us who do skincare and incorporate exfoliating acids or something of the sort. For me, I started using tretinoin .025% last month on the ninth and a month later I can tell you: It’s gotten worse and I’m praying it gets better. If you’ve been following my skincare journey then you will know that around august of this year my skin began to act completely crazy. My cheeks began to break out really bad and my forehead texture got worse. I’m going to blame my current acne situation on purging because hopefully my skin isn’t having a bad reaction. I downgraded my skincare regimen by a LOT, I mean I went from a 8 step night routine to a 4 step night routine so that my skin can breathe and do her thing. The emotional aspect of being on this medicine has certainly drained me. There have been quite a few days where I have cried because my confidence is really in the gutters right about now. I don’t even feel right wearing extravagant eye makeup because my skin looks so crazy. But even with all the emotional ups and downs I know I have to be persistent and keep pushing through so that I will hopefully see improvement in another two months. My skincare regimen has changed a lot but I’ve finally found a stable routine with some products that I’ve committed to which are: CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water THE inkey LIST - Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 3m acne absorbing patches Tretinoin .025% Cleocin t 1%
