Maybe I need to update skin routine?
To start, I have never been to a dermatologist so I don’t have a professional opinion on what type of skin I have. In high school, I thought I had sensitive skin because it would react to changing weather and environments. And I I didn’t have a problem with acne but would get a pimple here and there. Now, I’m in my early 20s and this summer has caused me to question my skin. It’s been doing new things (thanks 2020 🙃). Now I don’t really know what kind of skin I have. My cheeks have an uneven skin tone and are bumpy with a few dry patches. My forehead has gotten a couple of pimples. My nose has a bumpy texture but I’ve always had that. I have dark eye circles and a couple of wrinkles (more than likely from staying up late/not enough sleep). I continue to use Burts Bees products I used in high school but I started trying new products last year. My best guess is that my skin type is dry. Current AM routine Cleanser: BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin or cold water Moisturizer: BURT’S BEES - Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin Sunscreen: TULA SKINCARE - Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Current PM routine Cleanser: BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin Moisturizer: BURT’S BEES - Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin Whenever I feel like: GOLDFADEN MD - Bright Eyes Dark Circle Radiance Complex Body Merry - Day to Night Eye Gel Twice a week in place of regular cleanser: GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser Every two weeks: JJ young - Pore Glow Mask I’m currently wanting to update my skincare routine to targeting dry skin instead of sensitive skin. I’m also wanting to address evening and smoothing skin tone and decreasing dark eye circles without causing breakouts. I’m also in search of an affordable daily sunscreen that isn’t greasy, doesn’t leave a white cast and has clean ingredients. The one I currently use contains avobenzone. I’m looking for a zinc oxide one. I’m also going to change my diet to incorporate more water and less dairy and sugar. Feel free to share any product or lifestyle recommendations that are budget-friendly (less than $50 for me). I would appreciate any advice. I’m also interested in clean beauty products. They don’t have to be absolutely clean but as natural as possible. Products that I’m currently considering for evening skin tone are: HONEST - Vitamin C Radiance Serum HONEST - Beauty Sleep Resurfacing Serum Glossier. - Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum

The set is a clear 5/5
The eye cream got a 4/5 because it is hard to get little enough to cover just your eyes I us sally end up wasting some product because I get too much. The night cream is amazing I can dip one of my fingers in it and can get half of my face covered. Finally, the Facial cleanser is really good and again you need only a little.

Sensitive Acne Prone Routine
Hi there! I have superrrrr sensitive skin that breaks out to everything so I’m here to help out anyone else’s face that hates them too. I have three different night routines that I do in order to not pile on a bunch of products in one day. Am 🦐 splash face with water 🦐 CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin 🦐 Neutrogena - On-the-Spot Acne Treatment I don’t use a cleanser in the morning, with my sensitive skin, washing it twice makes it too overly irritated. Instead, I wash it with water and follow with a gentle skin moisturizer/SPF, and spot treatment as needed. Pm A - Acne-fighting 🦖 CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser 🦖 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🦖 DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🦖 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin The SA cleanser is very gentle and effective for diminishing breakouts, and doesn’t strip the skin of its natural barrier. This is super important if you are using treatments, as too many can be damaging. I follow up with a water-based serum (niacinamide) that targets oil production, acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Then finish with an acne treatment and moisturizer. Pm B - Calm routine 🪐 BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin 🪐 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🪐DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🪐 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I have a “calm” routine to take a break from other treatments I do during the week. My skin gets really irritated if it’s bombarded with a ton of products so I use this night as a breather for my skin. Typically that means the differin gel as well as niacinamide and moisturizer. Pm C - Brightening routine 🍌 pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser 🍌 The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution 🍌 LUÉ by Jean Seo - BALANCE 🍌DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🍌 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This one is my favorite! The watermelon cleanser is my favorite thing I’ve put on my face. It’s gentle, brightens, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dull. It makes my skin glowy and supple and I’m close to dying for it. Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliant that brightens, smooths skin texture, and uneven tone, as well as working as an acne fighter!! It’s greta if your skin can tolerate it. If not, I’d go with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA. Next, I like to put in a calming serum for hydration and letting my skin calm the f*** down from the exfoliant. Then typical moisturizer and differin gel. I hope this helped for those of you that are looking to treat your face without pissing it off! Good luck to all you SSPs!

Skin glow up! This cleanser saved my dry skin ✨
BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin Was the very first skincare product I’ve ever used, but after I used it all up I decided to experiment with other options. Fast forward 2 about a month ago, I started using CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser every day😔 this was to much for my dry skin, I started braking out and getting hyper pigmentation due 2 sensitivity. I wouldn’t say that the CeraVe cleanser isn’t bad by any means, I mean I still use it... just 2-3 times a week this time (as it should be used). I would definitely recommend the Burts Bees cleanser 2 any of my dry/normal skin folks that R looking for a moisturizing cleanser that’s gonna leave your skin looking dewy and nourished. My skins the best it has its been in a long time. I hardly ever get pimples anymore and any of my dark spots are fading. BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin is the kind of cleanser that you can use and feel like you don’t need a moisturizer afterwards (U still gotta moisture though!) . DAILY: BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin captain blankenship - Sailor Deep Blue Face Moisturizer ABSOLUTE - Miracle Mucin Intensive Eye Treatment BADGER - Baby Chamomile & Calendula Zinc Oxide Sunscreen SPF30 WEEKLY: CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell TO GET: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream CeraVe - Face Sheer Tint Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 30 NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2%
