BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream BEAUTYBIO - The Quench Eye Reviving Quadralipid Eye Balm Is the $95 worth it? Beautybio: This is marketed as a weinkle prevention and treatment eye cream. This eye cream is more of a balm. It is a luxurious texture and leaves a slight film on the underyes. It’s not uncomfortable, but it doesn’t soak in completely. I like to use this very sparingly because a little goes a long way! This would take me forever to go through because the cream is so thick and dense. I did see results with this when I used it overnight. My eyes were more hydrated and awake looking. Burts Bees: This product is marketed as a renewing eye cream to brighten the undereyes. This is just an average product. It hydrates the underyes well but nothing extraordinarily. There is fragrance in this product but it is very subtle and never irritated me. This is my day time eye cream usually and I have recently used it up. I went through it pretty quickly but not sure if I will be repurchasing. Both are just okay! It depends on your budget which one you want. I didn’t see very drastic results with either but I saw very slight results with the beautybio one. But for $95 I don’t think it’s worth it! This one is kind of a toss up for me ✨

Best Acne Nighttime Treatment (non-fungal)
Best Acne Nighttime Treatment (non-fungal)
Okay so I’ve posted results of my use of Differin Gel & now I’m going to post my usual routine. (When I’m not wearing makeup). My skin is so weird now since I started using Differin Gel (I went from extreme oily to more combo/oily). Step 1 cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this when my skin is dry from the day. If I used a mask earlier or a scrub this usually happens. I also like this because I find that adding that extra moisture is important to prep for the Differin gel -or- LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin I use this of my skin is extra oily from the day. It’s for oily sensitive skin . Sometimes when I go outside with my heavier sunscreen it leaves that annoying oily feel at the end of the day (especially in my t-zone). This cleanser is amazing. I bought the travel size because it was first time trying it but I’ll definitely get the biggest size when I run out! Step 2- I left out my toner because I threw away my Kiehl's - Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner after doing more research into the ingredients & ordered my regular toners I used to use. Step 3 Treat: Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this is great for my pores and acne breakout I already have. I know it’s totes for oil control to, but I use it all over my face. *Actives* DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel this is my HG acne treatment. I’ve been using religiously it & now I need to buy a new! (I have a lost how to apply correctly). BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Maximum Strength Spot Treatment Cream **NEVER USE THIS THE SAME NIGHT AS DIFFERIN GEL!** I use this if I get a really bad spot that I want gone by the morning. It’s the highest concentration of salicylic acid you can get over the counter & it has willow bark (a great pair for salicylic acid). I love a majority of Burt’s bees products due to the high natural ingredients. BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream I did a previous post about using this & how its a effective retinol alternative. I have sensitive under eyes and don’t like to put too many harsh ingredients. This works great for my fine lines. Step 4 moisturize: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I love this moisturizer. It’s not too heavy but just enough ingredients to be effective. It has that extra added niacinamide I need fr my pores & it doesn’t clog my pores at all! WELEDA - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream I only use this if my skin is extra dry. This will replace my CeraVe (don’t want too much moisture). A little of this goes a long way! I use like two pea-size dots and it covers my entire face dr. brandt - Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask after my moisturizer. I love how this replenishes my moisture. I use this mask 2 times a week.

I give it 3 stars because is not the best eye cream, but it helps a little bit for the black eyes underneath. I put it before I put eye make up or when I go to sleep.

Help sort out my routine for late 30s skin
Help sort out my routine for late 30s skin
Hi all! Welcome to skin in your late 30s. I am 37 and am at that wonderful crossroads between younger and older skin, meaning that I still get monthly hormonal jawline acne, have an oily t-zone... yet also the beginnings of wrinkles, plus large pores and dark spots from acne scars and sun damage. I have a number of products that I have been using but it’s been a little random as to when I use them. I also just got some direct acids and I’m looking for direction on when to use them in my routine. Here’s what I have: Cleansers innisfree - Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Cleanser Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil AM toner SUNDAY RILEY - Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner PM toner The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Eye cream BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream Looking for recs! Serums / Treatments / Acids The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil Masks and peels The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Several mud based masks- Mudmasky, Generation Clay Moisturizers Embryolisse - Lait-Crème Concentré Limited Edition London THE inkey LIST - Multi-Biotic The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer philosophy - Purity Made Simple Oil Free Mattifying Moisturizer And since I know pores are an issue for me I also have other Inkey products I haven’t tried yet in the THE inkey LIST - The Pore Wonders Set I really like a lot of these products but I don’t feel I am putting them on in the right order. I also think I may be missing something to really help with my dark spots? Any advice? Thanks!!

DARK CIRCLES REVIEW | Burt’s Bees Renewal
DARK CIRCLES REVIEW | Burt’s Bees Renewal
Review for dark circles! (Spoiler alert I wasn’t impressed) ✨ BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream This product is advertised as bring able to visibly reduce dark circles and undereye puffiness. This is probably a product that is targeted towards a mature audience because of its claims to reduce wrinkles over time. In the second picture you can see that this is a thicker consistency eye cream that feels like a typical lotion. It applies easily without balling up or crumbling under makeup. I’ve used this product up completely and it took me about 4 months to use up. I’m always looking for a new eye cream because none have really impressed me so far so I thought I would give it a shot! Overall, I was not super impressed because I felt like after repeated use I did not see improvements in dark circles. This is an OKAY cream and does the job at moisturizing dry eyes. But in terms of reducing puffiness, I did see that at all. Luckily, I had no adverse reactions such as burning or breakouts. Also, it applied well under makeup which is a huge plus for me. In the end, I would only recommend this to someone who needs a very BASIC undereye cream for moisture purposes. If you’re looking for one that will cure your undereye darkness, this is not it! I will say that the price is very affordable at $12 and it can be found at most drugstores. According to their website, they changed the formula of this line so I’m curious to try it out and see how it compares 🤔

The Product Function- Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and hydrates skin around eyes Targets dry skin under the eyes Consistency- very lightweight cream Opinion I use this product daily after I remove my makeup and cleanse my face. I apply a small amount under my eyes and lightly press it into my skin to prevent wrinkles and hydrate. This product is very lightweight and doesn’t feel greasy or oily on the skin. I would highly recommend this product because it is a great, natural addition to anyone's skin care routine.
