The best La Roche Posay products you need to try
Does anyone have any idea how good La Roche Posay is? I sure didn’t. someone told me I just HAD to try their Active C10 Concentrate. Turns out, A LOT of people obsess and swear by La Roche Posay. It’s actually the #1 skincare brand carried in European drugstores. Read on to hear the La Roche Posay picks that changed my skin so much, i’m never looking back. Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream Finally. A hydrating face wash oily skin loves and craves. gentle and frothy, the face wash you’ve been looking for. I struggle finding face washes for oily skin that are hydrating and described as ‘creamy’. But this one is actually meant for oily skin, it will solve the answer to your question of ‘is my skin oily or just dehydrated?’. Glycerin gives it a nice slip to the skin and there’s even a little bit of salicylic acid in it to control oil and help any pimples you may have brewing. Toleriane Fluide Soothing Protective Non-Oily Emulsion Light weight, ultra hydrating. A similar texture to a face milk if you’ve ever tried one, but a little bit thinner. It sinks in perfectly (and fast), leaving your skin smooth and renewed. Made with niacinamide and thermal spring water. Ideal for mattifying your skin, I love to use it before putting on a full face. It acts as the perfect smoothing primer. Active C-10 Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate Ugh. The product that hooked me on the brand from the start. I’ll never use another vitamin c concentrate. It’s 10% (you can score up to 30% in products), ideal for someone starting out their anti-aging efforts or looking to supercharge another vitamin c product. Truly ideal for all skin types, it’s a fluid and very light texture. I expected it to feel heavy since it’s a creamy serum, but nope! It also has hyaluronic acid and vitamin e to plump and hydrate. My skin has never looked more bouncy and alive. I’m on my 3rd tube! Vitamin C Serum, 10% I scooped this up after falling in love with the concentrate. A gel-serum like texture that has a bit of a tacky grip to it. The serum contains salicylic acid and neurosensine, a peptide that can block pain sensation and is ideal for sensitive skin types. Because this vitamin c is so fresh and protected, when you first open the product you’ll hear a pop after breaking the seal. Something I’ve never experienced before in a vitamin c serum which makes me think I haven’t been paying attention to concentration levels enough. Lipikar Balm Intense Repair Moisturizing Cream If you experience eczema or are looking for a fool-proof rich moisturizer, you’ll want to try this if you haven’t already. It’s a total staple to have on hand in your skincare arsenal. Made with prebiotic thermal water, shea butter, niacinamide and rapeseed oil...this calms your skin TF down. Ideal for repairing compromised skin barriers or for when you just need to give your skin some TLC from various stressors. What have you loved from La Roche Posay and why? Tell me in the comments! ✨

Proven Ways To Get Glowing Skin...
Body care is a very important part in my skincare routine. I usually use body scrub to remove the dead skin and use body lotion to moisturize. Body scrub: ST.Ives Acne Control Apricot Scrub ST. Ives - Acne Control Apricot Scrub This one is actually a facial scrub. But the particles are quite coarse, it's hurting for me to use as facial scrub. I don't recommend using this on face. But it is a perfect body scrub! 😍 There's no nursing oil inside, so it won't leave your skin greasy or squeaky. After rinsing, it feels refreshing and the skin is very smooth. I use it especially on joints to remove the dead skin.😉 Body Lotion: La Roche-Posay Body Lotion LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion I love body lotion with a pump. It's so convenient that I can put it beside my bed and use it before going to sleep. I like the texture of this body lotion. It is lightweight and very refreshing. But the downside is this that this one is not hydrating enough. My skin is still a bit dry when I wake up in winter. So for oily skin, I think this one's great. But for dry skin, maybe you want to find another one.🤔

I have combo sensitive (dehydrated/sometimes dry) skin. The moisturisers I typically go for vary depending on the weather as I can become slightly oily in the summer but mostly my skin stays parched so I try to fill it up with as much hydration as possible without clogging my pores, as I am acne prone. 💦LA ROCHE-POSAY LIPIKAR LOTION*: a light to medium weight lotion with quick absorbency. It leaves a slightly dewy finish but quickly sinks into the skin. It is very soothing & hydrates the skin without feeling heavy on the skin. Notable ingredients include their legendary prebiotic thermal spring water as well as my favorites, niacinamide, shea butter, glycerin! 🌫KRAVE BEAUTY OAT SO SIMPLE WATER CREAM*: a thick watery & creamy gel texture that leaves a glowy finish & feels occlusive on the skin. This is great at soothing & hydrating sensitive skin with only 10 ingredients, making it ideal for sensitive and reactive skin! It contains colloidal oatmeal and squalane! I deeply enjoy this gel because it feels light-weight but packs in good soothing & moisture for most skin types, especially oily. 🍯ETUDE HOUSE SOON JUNG 2x BARRIER INTENSIVE CREAM *: a medium consistency moisturiser, most definitely not heavy. This is one of the first moisturisers I've tried that I truly loved and felt fit perfectly according to my skin's needs. It contains emollient ingredients such as shea butter that so effectively nourishes & repairs my skin. Other star ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, camellia leaf extract, pantheno, and madecassoside! This bundle of ingredients creates a moisture rich environment that is soothing and not too heavy but just the perfect balance. I’d consider this ideal for combo skin types! 🥜LA ROCHE-POSAY LIPIKAR BALM AP+*: a thick and emollient texture that is rich and creamy! This is an ideal moisturizer if you are dealing with a compromised skin barrier or for skin that is simply dry. Compiled with niacinamide & shea butter to nourish and repair parched skin. I like to use this at night to seal in moisture or 2x a day when my skin is feeling especially dry. 🍼ILLYOON CERAMIDE ATO CONCENTRATE CREAM: a rich and fluffy texture, when rubbed into the skin you may see the tiny capsules of ceramides that melt into your skin leaving a medium weight and nourishing finish without any shine! This is another great pick to heal, maintain, and repair the skin barrier! It contains a pseudo ceramide called MEA which mimics ceramide NP, as well as ginseng root extract and fermented soybean! *Not sponsored. Purchased with my own money.

Cerave vs. LRP
This is a tough choice but you know why we like them both. Riki has been using CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream for many years as his skin dries a lot faster in the winter. He was skeptical trying the LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion at first. Upon trying the LPR now he loves using every night and every time after shower. Both this product are dermatologist approved and they both contain glycerin, ceramides, they are fragrance free, allergy tested, and non-comedogenic. What makes LPR little more special is the addition of the prebiotic thermal water and the Shea butter which is enriched in niacinamide that helps to restore the moisture on the skin. On the other hand cerave contain hyaluronic acid to retain the skin’s natural moisture. It comes down to you whatever you decide to try and use. They are absolutely both amazing and must have products. Your skin will thank you for that 👍👍
CeraVe-CeraVe Moisturising Cream
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion This right here is one of my favorite lotions because I can use it on my body and it’s also lightweight enough to use on my face. I normally only use this for my face aside with a couple of other moisturizers in the early morning when I have work or class. I put this on right after I have applied toner on my face. I sometimes do have to reapply a few hours later because my face is super dry, but if you put this on with a heavier or gel moisturizer on top, you will feel very hydrated and smooth. For about $20, it’s a pretty big bottle and tbh it has lasted me about 6 months now. I normally only wear it when it’s early in the morning and I don’t want a lot of product on my face or if I don’t plan on going out anywhere I use this to keep my crusty face from getting to dry >.<. It’s not favorite lotion of all time but it’s up there for the price and size!

Perfect Barrier Repair PM Routine
If you have damage barrier and are finding that even the most gentle products are making your skin burn THIS is the PM routine for you! Step 1: Wash your face with the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. It is very gentle and conditioning. This is not a face wash for people with normal skin, this is for dry sensitive types who do not need any additional stripping of the skin. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser Step 2: After your face is dry, prep your skin for moisture with the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner. It is called a toner, but really just acts like an essence and pre-hydrates your face time receive the creams. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner Step 3: Go in with treatment with La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast Baum B5 to really repair the barrier and get the vitamins your skin needs. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations Step 4: La Roche-Posay’s Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion to moisturize your skin and further repair your barrier with their prebiotic water. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Moisturizing Lotion Step 5: Time for the cream, this is a heavier moisturizer than the Lipikar but really locks in all the treatments. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Step 6: Give your skin a little to rest but if you’re as dry as I am when your skin freaks out use some raw Shea butter as your last step. It’s completely non-comedogenic (will not cause breakouts/clog pores) and mimics your body’s natural sebum. To me this is the MOST useful step in my repair routine. It really helps my skin heal and reset! now - Solutions, Shea Butter, Certified Organic I know this is a pretty long routine and full of moisture, but it really helps to repair my skin after a flare or product destroys my skin’s barrier. My skin feels so much better today and I was able to use my normal routine with just a little extra moisturizer! Hope this helps those with this problem!
