Addressing dark under eye circles
Addressing dark under eye circles
The FAB Eye Duty Triple Remedy is a three in one treatment for the under eye area. You can use this on a no makeup day or you can layer it under makeup. This multitasking treatment is meant to illuminate and smooth the under eye area. The peachy tint to the product helps conceal under eye circles while the metal tip applicator can help with puffiness. I enjoy that this product contains caffeine, licorice root and retinal palmitate (an antioxidant). I have the fair/medium shade which does a good job to brighten on my skin tone, but they don’t seem to have any lighter or deeper shades which is a concern. Over the few weeks that I’ve been testing this products, I don’t notice a difference in lines or the appearance of my under eye circles. For me, this product is unnecessary because I have better options to conceal under eye circles. I can’t recommend this product because of my experience with it. This product doesn’t conceal enough for my standards. Also, I have dry skin and I found that this product isn’t very hydrating. If I put too much, my under eye area can look and feel crepey and dry. If you put too much product on, it can also be hard to blend out. I wouldn’t recommend because I didn’t see any improvements, the shade range is not inclusive, and the formula is a miss for me. I’d rather spend time applying a good eye cream and concealer than try and make this work.

As you can see - I’m really fussed about my undereyes right now 😂⁣ ⁣ I haven’t tested these all out on a long-term basis, but I can tell you my initial thoughts. ⁣ ⁣ PRODUCT: Eye Duty Triple Remedy⁣ PRICE: $36 USD/$48 CAD for 0.34 oz ⁣ KEY INGREDIENTS: Caffeine to De-Puff, Licorice Root for Brightening, Peptides, Titanium Dioxide⁣ INITIAL THOUGHTS: ⁣ This is makeup + skincare in 1. It’s a light peachy colour and works really well to brighten the undereye in a pinch - great for “no makeup” days when you just want to look a little perkier. Cons: It can pill if you’re layering it with other products + I’m pretty sure there is only 1 shade which is fair/medium 👎⁣ ⁣ PRODUCT: Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel Cream ⁣ PRICE: $36 USD/ $48 CAD for 0.5oz ⁣ KEY INGREDIENTS: Sodium Hyaluronate, Peptides, Licorice Root, and Telosomyl - an ingredient thought to limit the shortening of telomeres and therefore delay aging 🧐⁣ INITIAL THOUGHTS: ⁣ A really pleasant gel that would be great if you don’t like to wear an actual eye cream during the day, for me I prefer this for the evening underneath my night time eye cream - for double the hydration! ⁣ ⁣ PRODUCT: FAB Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid ⁣ PRICE: $42.00 USD/ $55.00 for 0.5oz ⁣ KEY INGREDIENTS: Squalane, Shea Butter, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Retinol⁣ INITIAL THOUGHTS: This is my favourite! It has the most buttery texture out of all of these (duh, I guess it’s the Shea butter) and a quick look at the ingredients list is quite impressive! I love the inclusion of MAP which is a vitamin c derivative too. If you like a more nourishing cream/are over the age of 25 I would recommend this one. ⁣ ⁣
