Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2
What It IsForget about day-to-play, it's always playtime with this palette! Tarte's Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2 features 9 super blendable & richly pigmented, versatile shades to create the purrrfect look.
Is Glitter Primer Worth It?
TLDR: YES glitter primer is worth it Some people choose not to use actual eye primer. I personally do on a daily basis - the MILANI - MILANI Eyeshadow Primer . Some choose to use concealer, and if that works for you, that’s awesome. So why would you need a glitter primer, especially if you aren’t someone who wears glitter? Keep reading! I own the NYX - Glitter Primer . It’s affordable (approx. $7), cruelty-free, and widely available. I have a large eyeshadow palette collection. Some of my palettes are a few years old (like my tarte - Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2 - mine is original version which you can’t get anymore but v2 contains same shades) and the shimmers don’t perform as well. You can use a glitter primer to amp up the intensity of lackluster shimmers! I swatched the shade “foxy” on dry skin w/ no primer, over the Milani primer, and over the NYX glitter primer. The swatch with the glitter primer is more shimmery and the shadow looks like how it used to 3-4 years ago. The glitter primer also holds onto shadow much better and will increase wear time. Glitter primer is great for, you guessed it, glitter. Now, admittedly I own a few COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Glitter and will flat out warn you they’re not technically eye safe. I regret buying a bunch of them but that’s a story for a different time. I have used the glitter glue to adhere these glitters to my eyes and I experience almost 0 fall-out. That’s incredible! The glitter primer can also be used on your body if you’re into body glitter. By the way, the shade I’m showing is the shade “fyre” - a gorgeous green. You can see in the swatches the glitter primer makes the glitter much more opaque and it adheres to the skin significantly better. I recommend looking for eye safe glitter. The NYX’s texture is quite tacky, so be sure to finish applying any other matte shadows before using this because it will be difficult to blend on top. I use this glitter glue most often for my older shimmer shadows. It’s also great for this of us with hooded eyes (raises hand) that experience a ton of shimmer transfer into the crease. It won’t completely stop the transfer, but it definitely helps. I fully recommend adding a glitter primer to your primer collection. At this price point, it’s a steal for the quality! #CheriePartner

Kim Possible Villain💚(attempt)
Well it’s that spooky season so why not do a cute Halloween look inspired by the infamous green villain from Kim possible😈💚 -How I did it?✍️ 1. Applied my base makeup as I normally would. 2. Started doing my black smokey eye using lighter browns and slowly darkened my crease with darker browns. 3. Then I applied black eyeliner (pencil eyeliner) and slowly made my lid black. 4. Added my black shadow and I blended away to try and make it look as seem less as possible. 5. Then in my inner lid (tear duct area) I added a light green and topped it with a light highlighter. 6. Finally for my under eyes I just smudged some brown at first then did just a touch of black. 7. And of course did black only on the top of my lip (even though I think it looks like a stash) -What I would have done differently🤔 I would have done a more neon green smokey eye instead of black. And I also would have topped it off with a cat eye liner flick, I feel like I would have looked more like the character but oh well. -Products Used💄 Eyes -tarte - Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2 -MORPHE - The James Charles Palette -benefit - BADgal BANG! Lately I’ve been having a lot of fun with makeup and seeing what I can do with what I got. Cow eyeliner look🐄: 1. Take some white eyeliner and draw a regular wing. 2. Then with the white eyeliner draw a line above your crease connecting to the wing. 3.once the white eyeliner is DRY, then make random black splotches\dots mimicking a cow pattern. So this is actually the Maneater V1 palette, that I’m pretty sure they do not make anymore :/ so I’m sorry for talking about it but the V2 is pretty similar, and I have swatched it before so I know the shadows are the same quality! This palette is amazing for every day looks. I love using the pink shade ‘purr’ just by itself for a simple look! I use the large shade to the left as a shadow or a highlight! I think it’s meant to be a highlight but I like using it on my eyes or to highlight my brow bone as well. Another great palette by Tarte! Wish they kept making it!! tarte - Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2
