Worth it? $40 vs. $150 remover
EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser Size：200 ml Prcie：$150 I love it I love it I love it. I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I bought a jar of 200ml, big one. Comes with two cleansing towels. This jar lasted me about four to five months. It gets everything off, even long wear lipstick that stays on Iike superglue. I wear heavy makeup everyday for work and the only cleanser which has proven to work alone without any help from other cleansers or micellar lotions is this one. Make sure to use the cleaning cloth comes with it and follow the instruction and not towel or other. And you don’t need to use cleanser after this. I love the feeling after cleansing my face, it’s soft and fresh with a decent herbal smell. It smooths my face and I feel alot brighter after cleansing. Some may say that there is too much hassle for a daily cleanser, without any results to back it up. It’s true. The price is a bit excessive but you can find some decent deals on some sites like Sephora Rouge season or Lookfantastic where there might be sale like 30% off. It worth trying. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm SIZE: 3.8 oz/ 125 mL I have repurchased a couple of times now. It removes makeup very effectively and washes clean. I do use a second cleanser, I use this to double cleanse with a gentle foaming cleanser. But if you prefer not to, this will leave your face feeling clean enough. Another really convenient thing is that it doesn't seem to leave a residue in my bathtub or make the tub oily and slippery. I love the balm over cleansing lotions. It takes off everything, including mascara and the gooiest, sparkliest lip gloss and lipstick. I found the formula very natural and gentle. It is fragrance-free balm, suitable for sensitive skin and melts into a silky oil as you rub it on to your face. This doesn't leave skin feeling tight and dry after use. It removes all traces of makeup and removes waterproof eye make-up with ease. Product wise, both are great removers. Especially Eve Lom, you can feel it brightens the skin after using for a while, and a little product goes a long way. If you found great deals, definitely recommend give it a try. However for most people including me, makeup removers are consumables that does not worth that investment. Clinique is by far my favorite and cost-effective cleanser.

NEW IN: my skin care ritual just got fancy
ULTA had ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Perfect Partners on sale and I just had to guys. I love Elemis products and have been dying to try these two products. I love cleansing balms. They are the best thing to remove waterproof makeup without stinging and irritating your eyes. Yes, micellar water works as well but I usually use it after to make sure everything is off . This cleansing balm is so luxurious and oh my word the smell is absolutely divine. The balm is based with rose and mimosa waxes and are infused with elderberry, starflower and optimega oils and supercharged with anti-aging algae, padina pavonica— a Mediterranean algae with proven outstanding anti-aging benefits. Some of my favorites are: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (works well but they test on animals) BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original Then I met you - Living Cleansing Balm After cleansing, I follow up with my new favorite retinol alternative ingredient, Baluchiol in ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum . I use this twice a day before moisturizing for that extra bit of moisture and protection from free radicals. I have to be honest, I have not tried the cream. I’m sure it is divine but I’m currently half way through two creams and it seemed wasteful to open this one... and I wouldn’t really be giving it a good test run if I’m still using the others right!? I will update in a later post. What other cleansing balm should I try? Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful **Elemis, Banila Co, Then I met you are all 🐰cruelty free.

One month Review
What is it? A lightweight make-up remover that quickly dissolves eye and face make-up and sunscreen What’s in it? Ingredients: Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Polyethylene, Peg-5 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Water\Aqua\Eau, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol <ILN30654> For people looking for clean products this contains PEGs (read my earlier posts for more information). But free from the other “Dirty Dozen” chemicals My Experience This is my first time use a cleansing balm or oil instead of the old alcohol based make-up removers and I love it! It feels silky smooth and hydrating on my skin. I lightly massage over my eyes and cheeks and it loosens my mascara and make-up right. I wash off with a face cloth and my make-up comes right off. My face is left feeling clean and hydrated, rather than dry after an alcohol make-up remover. It’s perfect in the winter when your skin is drier. I have normal to dry skin. If you have oily skin you may find this too oily. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Repurchase? ✅ Yes. I received this one as Clinique’s free Birthday gift for Smart Members. It’s full size at 125ml or 3.8oz. It retails for $42. My only recommendation is that after a month of using this product every evening I’ll barely scratched the service. The product expires after 6 months. I don’t see how I’ll finish it in 6 months! I’d recommend to buy the travel size 30ml for $14. Also, sign up for Clinique Smart membership and buy directly from their website. They constantly have promotions and freebies.

FARMACY Green Clean Cleansing Balm Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Makeup Remover FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm What You Need to Know: Cruelty free Gluten free Vegan Contains essential oils My Personal Experience: One of my favorite makeup removers! This is probably my third jar and I will keep buying. I love cleansing balms because it removes makeup gently and very very effectively, and the solid form makes it mess free and much easier to travel with. This one removes makeup very well, even waterproof eye makeup and liquid lipsticks. It is also very gentle in my opinion because occasionally if it gets into my eyes it doesn’t hurt as long as I quickly wash it out. (whereas another popular cleansing balm, CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balmdefinitely hurt my eyes.) I use silicone products and put on makeup basically everyday, so I really do need a powerful makeup remover to pull everything out of my pores. I think this one does it for me. I even noticed that it helps a little with blackheads and pimples (the ones you got from clogged pores) as it cleans my pores so well. At the same time it’s never irritating to my skin. It comes with a spatula and I usually just use that to get the balm into my palms instead of digging my fingers into the jar. I warm it up into oil and massage my face for about a minute, paying extra attention to my nose and chin. Then I wet my hands and emulsify the oil on my face before fully rinsing it out. This way it never leaves a film on my face. And then I proceed to my regular cleanser and double cleanse. Final Tips: ALWAYS TAKE OFF YOUR MAKEUP BEFORE BED! 😴 I do recommend trying double cleanse if you wear makeup (especially base makeup) and your skin isn’t overtly sensitive, even though in theory, a lot of cleansers can take off a fair amount of makeup. Double cleansing has helped me a lot with pore congestions. ✨

Makeup melt magic #Cheriepartner
Every time I use makeup or sunscreen I double cleanse. This Clinique makeup melt is so perfect for makeup specially waterproof! Just a little scoop of this and everything just melts right off. After this product I follow up with my favorite cleanser to make sure everything is off my face. By the way this product should lasts a LOOONG time because a little does go a long way! I’ve had this since the beginning of this year and I haven’t even made a dent in it! Considering it’s $31 dollars, you’ll get a lot of product!! You don’t even need more than a penny size to remove it all! Very worth it to check it out! I personally think makeup wipes are bad for the environment. Though there’s a lot of choices for cleansing balm, Before I bought it I made sure to do my research and look for the best one! Trust me when I say that DO MANY people recommended this particular one! And they weren’t wrong! This has been my staple product to double cleanse if I wanna remove my makeup after a long day! My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
