Combination/Eczema-prone AM skincare routine 🌞
Combination/Eczema-prone AM skincare routine 🌞
It was challenging to fit all this info into 1 min, but sis we made it! Step 1: Tone GRAYDON - Face Food Mineral Mist Step 2: Boost hydration Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum when I mentioned that it’s not necessarily my favourite serum, it’s because I’ve had high expectations for it due to the other serums I’ve used. Step 3: Nourish the skin PUUR Ingrid - Repair Booster I was introduced to all of these products through working in two separate clean, ethical skincare shops. I recently had to resign from my most recent job, as it no longer served me, so I now feel even more freedom to post my honest opinions, whether it’s expressing how much I like a product that I didn’t sell or how a specific product from my old workplace disappointed me 🌈🙃 * prices are in CAD

C Firma Dupe? I used the Drunk
C Firma Dupe? I used the Drunk Elephant vitamin c for a year and my skin really loved it. Although it is a bit strong my happy medium was every other day or at night. The C Firma is an amazing vitamin c however the Mad Hippie is a great alternative for sensitive or easily irritated skin types. And while I do love Drunk Elephant so much I realize they are a bit expensive. Their kits are amazing though & one of the BEST ways to buy from this brand, in my opinion, because you can get a bundle deal on several products. I wish they would bring the Acid Trip Kit back! That was the best kit they ever made, I swear! ⁣ ⁣ Mad Hippies vitamin c does not contain polysorbate or phenoloxyethanol like cfirma. MHippie also contains Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate which is a more stable form of vitamin c than L-Ascorbic. It also provides the same benefits without the risk of oxidation or irritation that is often found when using L-Ascorbic. Which is why I think it’s a great one for the price. ⁣ ⁣ Mad Hippie Vitamin C Retails at around $30 ⁣ They are also cruelty free, vegan & can be found at Whole Foods, Ulta, Amazon, or online. They are one of my favorite affordable brands! I have several of their products & loved them all! ⁣ ⁣ - sodium Ascorbate phosphate, Ferulic, & vitamin E⁣ - hyaluronic, konja root & chamomile ⁣ ⁣ Drunk Elephant Retails at $80 and can be found at Sephora, Amazon, or the their website. It also made the Allure Best of Beauty award, Womens Health award, & InStyle! ⁣ ⁣ - 15% L-ascorbic, ferulic & 1% vitamin e ⁣ - chronocyclin, pumpkin ferment & pomegranate extract, vinis vinifera (grape juice), licorice root, Indian gooseberry, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, & virgin Marula oil

👉For Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum👈 This one is the organic vitamin C serum.Suitable for all skintype as especially for sensitive skin.I can't recommend for ace pore skin. This is the brand of America. And Ferulic Acid which helps reduce skin damage from UV rays and contains Konjac Root Powder that contains vitamins A, E, C, D & B, niacin, folic acid, copper, zinc, phosphorus. The serum will be light yellow and clear and it it also a dropper.Use a 1 tube for night skincare routine. It is good seep into the skin.It is maintaining moisture. That's why another moisturizer (gel or cream) doesn't need to add. It is not the same Vitamin C like the other brands. #No Skin Irritation, Help to brighten skin# Also adding Vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin.It is very gentle product. Beginner may use 1-2 drop first. #Best daily setum#Best beauty product from Truth in Aging, Dark sport, brightening skin#Best moisturizer from natural solutions. It is not a good values otherwise give a Priceless results🖤Not happen the clog-pore skin. 👉Skinsista vitamin C Extra Bright Booster👈 This one is Watsons's product. And it has been using Encapsulated technology to store vitamin C. It is a combination of Vitamin C, Vitamin E with Hyarulonic Acid that provides moisture. The main thing is to brighten skin, reduce wrinkles, exfoliate, reduce dark spots.I saw that the Hyarulonic blend is thought to be more hydrated. And, the serum absorbed into the skin very quickly. #No preservatives (ParabenFree)#Non alcohol#No oil / Mineral Oil# Colorless and fragrant Perfume#The texturs is mild and soft, and smell is leamon and sweet. Anyone who has sensitive skin want to try Vitamin C, the price is not very strong.# By Treaza🙆‍♀️

Great Introduction to Skincare: Mad Hippie
Great Introduction to Skincare: Mad Hippie
We love Mad Hippie’s bright packaging, which gives a warm, welcoming feel to indie beauty. I’m thankful that this brand exists, as it was one of the first brands to show me that skincare can indeed be sustainable and clean. But are the formulas FAV or MEH?! Well that depends where you’re at on your skincare journey... Personally, it was one of my first consistent skincare experiences, besides Neutrogena circa high school era. I started off with the Mad Hippie - Cream Cleanser which has a milky texture. I loved this cleanser for my sensitive, eczema-prone skin as it was non-stripping nor dehydrating! After about a year of using it, I felt ready to graduate to an oil cleanser. Looking back, it was nothing special, it couldn’t remove makeup, but it was a great way to get used to washing my face every evening! 🧼 The next Mad Hippie product I was excited to try was the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum as it contained both hydrating hyaluronic acid AND the brightening vitamin C antioxidant. By this time, I was already working at a clean beauty boutique that was selling this brand, so I was able to get it for free 🎉 but if y’all follow me long enough, you know that though I may have flirted with some skincare products here and there, Corpa Flora - Antidote HB5 Hydration serum is my first true skincare love 🧸 . Unfortunately, I tried to cheap out on my hydration serum, so the Mad Hippie seemed like a good idea. But honestly, once you’ve entered the world of complex, quality formulas it’s hard to go back to simplicity no matter how nice... sometimes! It’s like not being able to date an average Joe after dating Mr. Intellectual. Yup that’s what this vit C serum is to me. Just meh. It didn’t really hydrate my face nor brighten it... maybe because my standard was already so high? But this could be a good hydrating/antioxidant serum to START off with! I am really thankful for Mad Hippie; however, my verdict is that it’s a great brand for beginners or low-maintenance people, such as travellers 🎒 It covers all the basics, but if you’re looking for more results, you may have to look elsewhere... just check out my other posts for more effective clean/ethical skincare 😉

I want to talk about affordabl
I want to talk about affordable skincare I know it can be discouraging seeing all the amazing name brands being so expensive, and I get it. I own far too much stuff and my bank account and I are not on great terms. BUT, I wanted to talk about an affordable, effective brand that I really love. ⁣ ⁣ 💫 Mad Hippie is a great brand and has some awesome products that genuinely really work. Their Vitamin C product really stood out to me.⁣ It contains Sodium Ascorbic Phosphate which is another more reliant and stable form of Vitamin C. What is nice about this is that it has a less risk of oxidizing and is a little irritable on the skin. I love my C-Firma by DE, but it does have a shorter shelf life because of L-ascorbic acid. ⁣ ⁣ 💫 This also contains Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Konjac Root, Chamomile extract and Clary Sage which all contribute antioxidants, plumping, smoothing, brightening, protection and moisture to the skin. These are awesome benefits for a great price at around $34 USD. ⁣ ⁣ 💫I don’t want people thinking that they can’t have good skin unless they drop their whole pay check. It is possible and easy to find other products that don’t break the bank! Their website states “Parabens, synthetic fragrance, dyes, petrochemicals, PEGs, SLS and other nasty additives aren't necessities.” I 100% support this. It is hard to find brands that don’t have all the nasty stuff and also at a good price. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone! 🧡💛❤️

😎Complete skincare routine fo
😎Complete skincare routine for under $100 USD 😎. I wanted to put together an affordable starter skincare routine for someone with my skin type - acne prone/hormonal/sensitive. Truthfully I think this would work for almost anyone 😊 Here are my recommendations; 1. Double cleansing is essential. I chose this Cerave Hydrating Cleanser because it’s versatile and you can use it to remove makeup/spf and you can use it as your second cleanser too. You can also use this in the am. It’s super gentle and versatile. $15.99 CAD from Shoppers Drug Mart. 2. I’m obsessed with the Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum for the morning. It’s super gentle, lightweight, brightening and gives you some nice antioxidants to defend against pollution throughout the day. $36.99 CAD on iherb 3. Acne prone/sensitive skin needs moisture! You want to make sure your skin barrier is healthy to heal up any irritation or breakouts. Bioderma Sensibio Light Soothing Cream - I chose this over the FAB Barriair that I am obsessed with because of the price point ($24.90 vs. $37), but truthfully the FAB could possibly be a better value since the Sensibio doesn’t seem to last all that long. Both are great options though.
