Dry flaky skin? No, thank you 🙅🏻‍♀️ Enter Murad’s AHA / BHA exfoliating cleanser. A game changer! You’re probably wondering what AHA or BHA means and what do they do for our skin. Both do a really good job with exfoliators, pore minimizers, wrinkles reduction, evening out the skin tone, and removing dead skin cells. You can use AHA or BHA by itself depending on your skin concerns. AHA: Alpha hydroxy acid- they are water-soluble derived from fruits. AHAs are generally used to target aging/wrinkles , discoloration/hyperpigmentation, and enlarged pores. AHAs help peel the dead skin cells in the surface of our face to make way for the new and more evenly pigmented skin cells. Leaving your face smooth like a baby’s butt! BHA: Beta hydroxy acid- these are oil-soluble acids. Unlike AHAs, BHAs work deeper on the skin. It deeply penetrates the pores and drying out excess oil and dead skin to unclog the pores. BHAs are usually used to target acne and sun damage. With that in mind, BHAs can be drying on the skin. It’s usually geared for oily or oily combo skin. Now about my experience with this product: First of, these a lot of product in this bottle and a little goes a long way! It feels light weight and applies on to the face nicely. It’s definitely a gentle exfoliator. I concentrated on my T-zone a lot when using this since those are the areas where I have a lot of excess oil production and sebum. After use, looks brighter and healthier. My skin feels super smooth!!! I literally cannot stop feeling my cheeks after. It does a great job with unclogging the pores or even just prepping the pores for simple easy white head extractions. Overall, I am really happy with this product. I received it from my ipsy glam bag ultimate. I use this 2-3x a week. Basically every other night.

Love this cleanser

♥️ murad
Love this cleanser  ♥️ murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. MY RESULTS: ♥️ I’ve been using this cleanser for 4 months now, I don’t use it every day because I have so many cleansers I like to rotate them but I used it solidly every night for a month to see results. ♥️ This has a thinner consistency than I was expecting it to have, it doesn’t foam up at all. When using this on the face it actually feels like it’s doing nothing because the beads are so gentle and soft but after cleansing my skin felt so smooth and soft immediately. ♥️ After the month my skin was so bright and glowing and had really exfoliated all the dead skin away, it kept my nose and chin free from blackheads which I liked. ♥️ I never had any drying of my skin with constant use as is what’s happened with other brands when using an exfoliating cleanser, the Jojoba must have helped keep it hydrated, because my skin was always soft and hydrated from the first use. ♥️ This works well with the Clarisonic and also works well with the Foreo, having used both I prefer the Foreo with it than the Clarisonic but both do work well. ♥️ This is really easy to remove as well it’s like the Jojoba beads melt away because it removes like a normal cleanser rather than having to keep wiping to remove exfoliators and leaves no gritty feeling to the skin afterwards.

My Favorite Exfoliating Products
My Favorite Exfoliating Products
I know a lot of ppl believe that physically exfoliating can harm the skin. However, I am not of those people. I like to use both Physical and Chemical exfoilants and believe they each have their own benefits as long as you’re using the correct products for your skin and nothing too harsh. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser - This is my Holy Grail Exfoliating Cleanser. It’s has a blend Of salicylic, Lactic and Glycolic acid to polish away dull, dry skin without irritation. The “beads” in the product are very fine tiny jojoba beads which adds more moisture and hydration so my skin doesn’t dry out. It Reveals smoother texture and a brighter younger looking complexion. PETER THOMAS ROTH - Firmx Exfoliating Peel Gel - I love to use the gel when my skin is feeling really sensitive but I still need it exfoliate. It doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals or Abrasive beads, it’s a light gel that you rub on your face and the dead skin literally rolls off! It contains Enzymes from fruit and Cellulose to effectively remove impurities and purify clogged pores. My skin is always super smooth after, this is perfect for someone with sensitive skin. JUICE BEAUTY - GREEN APPLE Peel Full Strength Exfoliating Mask - juice Beauty is a great organic, vegan, clean beauty brand that uses all natural ingredients. This peel I also have in the Sensitive Skin Version. It uses acids derived from fruits to give you a brighter complexion. It does have a thick texture and an odd smell, but for the benefits it’s worth it. Murad - Intensive-C Radiance Peel - This is a chemical peel that’s a Rich Gel cream with antioxidants, Glycolic acid and Indian Fig Extract refine skin by gently dissolving dead skin cells and improves texture and tone. Potent Vitamin C enhances radiance and luminosity. This product is definitely the strongest of the chemical peels I own but it really does brighten and reduce my pores.

Murad - Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum This is a must have to my daily routine. Vitamin C helps brightens my skin from any dark spots and helps keeps it nourished. FOREO - LUNA go for Combination Skin I love this brush especially when I travel. It’s great for deep cleansing my face. LANCER - The Method: Nourish For Sensitive Skin Moisturizer I love this nourish moisturizer, I helps with keeping my skin hydrated and firm! BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN - Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 ( You Don’t have to be a black girl for this sunblock!) anyone can use it. Choose one you like. Just be sure to wear it! This is why I went back to school to be a Licensed esthetician to learn all about skin. Due to my acne prone skin as I grew up. Unfortunately, as we grow into a young woman there are many factors when breaking out. Some of the advise I will give you is not a dyignose. It’s simply a few suggestions to help you. I would first ask you what are you ingesting? /eating? There could be something that causing you internally to have breakouts. I would suggest finding a certified and licensed hormonist/Nutrionist, or an Allergist in your area, who can take blood to first see if there is something you could be allergic to. Or take a journal of thr food you could be eating to see when the breakouts occur. This way you can limit the foods that causes these acne prone Accuracies that you might be happening. Also, with hormones you could be experiencing changes with too much extregen or not enough or what ever your doctor sees in your bloom that’s happening with your body. I had mine checked, and I was producing to much estrogen. Which was causing me to break out. That’s just me. The right doctor will help you. Second (2nd), ans in the meantime to help the topical part of your skin until you’re healed internally. Get a AHA/BHA Exfoliating cleanser. This will help with drying up any oily prone skin and acne. AHA/BHA with A blend of Salicylic, lactic, and Glycolic acids helps deep clean oil and dry up acne, but will also help polish dull dry skin without irritation. Which includes enZymes that will help nourish your under layer of skin. Which you mentioned your skin gets dry. It will help it. Also, please stop using the witch hazel. That’s not helping you. This cleanser will help with cell turnover for new skin. It will cleanse any pull impurities out of your skin and will help polish off dead skin. And reduce acne. Do this about 1-2 days a week. The Murad “age Reform” is great for this acne prone skin. Third (3), maybe use a clay mask to help bring up impurities out of the deeper layer of skin. And then a great toner to help bring your skins PH back to balance. I also suggest getting a great Vitamin C serum. This will help with brightening your skin and rebuilding new cells to produce new skin as it pushes up to the top layer of your skin. This should be in your regime daily. I love the Sonage Vitamin C. Then I suggest Either Pink Elephant, or Dermotoligica. They don’t have harsh chemicals. Which from my experience I love using these products on myself. And lastly, then try a great Moisturizer, such as Dr. lancer “Nourish”. Which will help bring back luster and hydration back to your skin without being greasy. End with a sunblock to be sure to protect all of your efforts. Sunblock will also protect your from the sun rays. This sunblock is mandatory. In this process of products a great way to remember the steps in product application is to go from thin water base products to thin for better product penetration into the skin. That has helped me over the years. No matter what! Now some of these products can be a bit pricey. ( it’s all subjective) However, they do have a bit more ingredients in them to help with product results and product penetration. Again, these are only suggestions. You can do whatever you choose. I’m glad that you asked me for help. I’m sure you will see results over the next month or two. If you need anymore help, please reach out to me. I would love to help you more. Try this in the meantime, I’ll try to list all the products I suggested and please keep me updated. Good luck! You will be fine with all the great suggestions. Take what you can use and execute! #Cheriecreater #CheriebeautyExpert @DLashes

Acne Products!! (My Personal Dynamic Duo🤞🏻)
Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser 1.5% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment: I’ve been using this cleanser since January and I can definitely say that it has made a difference! I bought this cleanser just because I needed something new for my skin. After a month of using it, I noticed a difference in my hormonal acne and the milia I had around my forehead and cheeks. The best part is that this cleanser contains my fav ingredient, salicylic acid! Salicylic acid penetrates deep into the pores to clear up acne and further prevent new breakouts. This cleanser also contains cooling ingredients such as menthol and green tea! Hydration AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser: This is me being real, and the truth is I did not start properly exfoliating my skin up until last year. I had no idea what I was doing and I was being way too harsh with my skin. I was insecure about my acne so I thought exfoliating everyday would make it go away faster, but instead it made it so much more worse. (Only if we could all magically wake up with perfect skin over night lol!) Until, the lovely lady at Sephora introduced me to this product. It is a chemical exfoliate which is great for removing built up dirt and dead skin. I started off by using it once a week, now I use it twice a week (every Sunday and Wednesday). All in all, you do get your money’s worth. Both of these bottles are 200 mL which is a lot of product in my opinion and it lasts FOREVER. Always do your research before trying new products!

AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
Murad-AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
Murad AHA/BHA cleanser, too drying?
Murad AHA/BHA cleanser, too drying?
{what does it claim to do?} A highly active cleanser with a trio of exfoliating acids to exfoliate & polish away any dullness & jojoba beads to buff away debris, dryness & roughness. Key Ingredients; jojoba polishing beads to brighten Salicylic, lactic & glycolic acid trio Sodium PCA to help keep skin hydrated {Texture/consistency?} it’s kind of a rough-beaded texture; not a cream or gel. Almost a lotion consistency {My thoughts?} I started using this when I was looking for ways to help get rid of my hormonal acne, I really didn’t like this. The beads/scrub itself is way too rough for my sensitive skin & it left my skin red. I use the 60 second rule and rub in circular motions or kneading motions on my cheeks. The next day my entire face was super broken out and worse than before! I continues using this different times to try to get it to work, but I found dryness and irritation so I stopped using. It wasn’t for me! {Is it worth price vs size?} it is $40 for. 6.7oz of product, so I would say it isn’t worth it. If you really need a AHA/BHA exfoliator there are plenty serums or toner or even Cleansers for cheaper & Better quality! Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
