Biore Pore Strip
Biore Pore Strip
Bioré - Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips This is a deep cleansing pore strip that contains charcoal. It has a sticky side and a softer side. It’s supposed to be a strip you put on your nose and when it dries you rip it off and it should have taken some blackhead gunk with it. Targeted at people with large pores, prone to blackheads, congested skin or anyone that feels like they want to deeply cleanse their pores. This was not a hit for me. I mean it gets some gunk out and it is satisfying to strip it off but it feels too harsh for the skin. Feels like it’s taking half of my skin with it haha. So I didn’t like it too much. I’ve used this in total of 4-5 times. These come in packs so they’re pretty cheap! But I wouldn’t recommend this product and would rather recommend a professional pore extraction instead or an alternative method of double cleansing skin or other types of pore cleansing masks!

Biore charcoal pore strips
Bioré - Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips These nose strips are marketed to help clear pores and pull out blackheads. It’s a paper mask that you place on a wet nose and remove about 10-15 minutes later. When it’s ready to come off, it will be super dry and may hurt a little to remove. As you can see from the third photo, it managed to pull out quite a few blackheads from my nose and cheeks. The only reason I deducted a star is because the strip isn’t long enough to reach too much of my inner cheek which is where my worst blackhead issue is. I enjoy this product because pore strips are the only type of product I’ve found to actually remove my blackheads instead of just hiding the problem. For 18 strips the price is $13.99 which is too expensive in my opinion. That’s about a dollar a strip, and I think there are probably cheaper options out there. At the end of the day, I would recommend these because I know they work but I’ll be trying to find a similar product for a cheaper price!

I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and it has always been a problem I was trying to get rid of. My nose is the only spot that has blackheads so I use these strips but I know Biore has a whole bunch of other products for blackheads around your entire face. These strips are very convineant and easy to use. I use these strips once a week after the shower because it allows the blackheads to come of easier. I have been using this product weekly for the past year. I would recommend this to anyone with blackheads because it really does work unlike other some other products.

I tend to get a lot of pores and blackheads and these strips do the job, as well as my nose.. this helps the blackheads on my nose and it’s an added bonus of not hurting when you peel off the strip. So getting more for sure

The Biore Deep Cleansing Pore
The Biore Deep Cleansing Pore strips are super iconic to this brand. The first product I think of when I hear Biore is the pore strips! I recently tried the Charcoal ones and I have some thoughts. These pore strips are meant to help deep clean the pores on your nose. They also target oiliness The product itself is just a paper strip with a sticky side. You wet your nose first then apply the strip, like paper mâché. You let it harden up, about ten minutes, and the peel it off. I have been using pore strips for as long as I can remember. I think it might be the first pore product I have ever used. However these Charcoal ones are new to me. I decided to try these because it said they help fight oiliness 3x more, which intrigued me because my nose gets so oily throughout the day!
I think these work just as good as the regular ones, they clean out the pores on my nose. I do notice that I’m less oily but its not a dramatic difference. I also notice that these particular charcoal strips leave black residue on my nose. It is easy to clean off but the regular strips don’t leave any residue. I would recommend these to a friend as a quick fix. These are about $7 for 6 strips, so a little over $1 per strip. Which isn’t too bad.

Cleansing Pore Strips
I have been using the classic Biore cleansing pore strips since I was about 13 years old! Fast forward to 2019, charcoal has been a hot trend in skincare and you can find just about anything charcoal these days. I fell into the charcoal craze and decided to give an old time favorite with a new twist a try! These work exactly the same as the original cleansing pore strips; you just place it over your nose after it’s been cleaned and it is still wet. You let the strip sit there for 8-10 minutes; you’ll know it’s ready to remove when the strip is stiff and hard. I don’t find these strips to be overly painful to remove; there is a little bit of discomfort but nothing intolerable. The best way to remove the strips in my opinion is in a downward motion. Now I don’t think there is a major difference between the original cleansing pore strips and the charcoal ones; I think it’s more for marketing than anything else. Both strips effectively pull out blackheads and other debris that is clogging your pores. I do know that charcoal specializes in purifying and detoxifying the skin, but I couldn’t tell if one pore strip was more effective than the other. If you’re looking for affordable, yet effective pore strips, I don’t think you could wrong with either the charcoal or original. I will end this by stating that I no longer use pore strips for myself; I have been using exfoliator serums and other exfoliating products to keep my pores cleaned. I just feel like those products overall work better for my skin and more tolerable.
