I enjoy Tatcha products but am not completely obsessed as I’ve had some hits and misses with them EXCEPT for TATCHA - The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser I bought this a few weeks ago and honestly just can’t get enough of it! I have been using this as my 2nd cleanser in my newly formed double cleansing routine . I use it after my shower and a follow up to my CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser (which I find to be fantastic for really giving my face a good clean). The Rice Wash is a gentle cleanser so I personally don’t use it for the heavier makeup and dirt removal. It has a lovely rich texture with a fine grit which gently exfoliates while you cleanse. With a splash of water it turns into a creamy lather, and I’ve found that even a small amount is enough to cover your face and neck. It has a light pleasant fragrance that isn’t overpowering - I actually find it quite a soothing scent. I have dry to dry combination skin and this product really soothes and leaves the skin feeling soft without being overly drying or leaving it tight. I really love this product and it will definitely be in my skincare routine for the foreseeable future!

Someone needs to stop me from getting samples. I need to use what I already have. As someone who used to only use Clinique, I thought I knew most of the products. I was wrong. If you like a tangible foam when you cleanse, then I think you will like Clinique’s Rinse-Off Foaming Cleansing. The daily, cleansing mousse has an iridescent look that is nice, but that doesn’t translate over once water is added. It is supposed to be gentle and able to wash away makeup and sunscreen. I have used this for about a week and I do enjoy it as a second cleanser. I will have to try it as a first step, but I am always weary of that since most take too many washes. The CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser reminds me of the ORIGINS - Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash(demo and review coming soon) because of the coloring, texture and the froth it produces when water is added. It is fragrance-free, which I am glad since more people are becoming sensitive to fragrance. For: Dry, combination and combination oily skin. Cost: • $22 for 5 oz/150 mL at Sephora, Ulta and Clinique. ✨ Origins’ C&B is $2 more at the same size, but it does come in a smaller and bigger size. Clinique’s only comes in one size. Origins sizes: • 1.7 oz/50 mL: $13 • 5 oz/150 mL: $24 • 8.5 oz/250 mL: $29* ✨✨ * in select retailers. Not shown on Origins.com

I have a special place in my h
I have a special place in my heart for Clinique because the brand is actually the first that I used when I started to be more mindful of my skin. They had their 3-steps kits based on your skin type and it was the best ever that happened to me. I had really dry skin and I purchased the dry-skin kit first, I didn’t even use toners then and the toner actually did so much for me; my skin started to clear up, it got brighter and also really refreshing. I fell in love with toners from Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion nr 1 I no longer use it now because I have my other favourites. I have sensitive dry/combination skin which means that I have to switch items from winter to summer to fit my skin type. Let’s talk about the items in this picture. 🔅Clinique liquid facial soap: I don’t like this one, it says that it’s for dry to combination skin but I feel that it should be for oily skin types. It also irritated my sensitive skin although it does not contain fragrance. 🔅Clinique clarifying lotion 3: this toner is for oily skin types and it is perfect when I visit warmer countries during summer. I get really really oily and this was a saviour for my oily skin during those times. It’s a no no when I’m back in Sweden though because it will dry my skin out! 🔅Rince off foaming cleanser: I love this one, it’s great when I’ve used an oil based cleanser and when I use my Clinique Sonic system brush. I only use this cleanser when I’ve been wearing heavy make up though. 🔅Dramatically different moisturising gel and lotion+ : the gel is for oilier skin types and the lotion+ is for dryer skin types. So one is for summer and the other for winter. They work fine as a moisturiser, they don’t do anything else other then moisturising my skin so I use these when I feel like my skin needs a break from all the other ingredients and just need more moisture.

Extra Foam, Please

When I was younger I used to be a diehard Clinique user (mostly because my mom was good friends with the woman at the local Clinique counter!💄) but slowly “outgrew” the brand when skincare started to become more and more popular and talked about. There are a few products of theirs that I still swear by and CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser is one of them. I use it in the shower and love the way it foams and thoroughly cleans my face after a long day. It easily removes any makeup and grime leaving my face clean and fresh. I have dry combo skin, leaning more to the dry side these days, and this wash does tend to leave my skin a little tight after use but not raw or irritated. To counteract that I’ve been doing a double cleanse lately and follow up with the TATCHA - The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser (which is AMAZING!!) after my shower and before applying my PM skin routine. Even with that one downside I will still keep repurchasing this - I just find it to be one of the best cleansers at giving my face a good clean!

A frothy cleanser from Origins
A frothy cleanser from Origins
About the product: ORIGINS - Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash is a gentle, mousse-like everyday face wash that works to remove makeup, impurities and surface oils while leaving your skin a “comfortable clean.” It contains mint essential oils to invigorate the skin. Directly from the brand: “This frothy face wash with Broad Leaf Kelp Extract, Wheat Protein and Tourmaline cleanses and purifies all skin types.” How to use: Squeeze small dab into palm then add “tepid” water and work into a lather. Wash face while avoid your eyes. (👀 oops) Rinse thoroughly. 💦 Recommended for: Dry, normal, combination, oily and sensitive skin. My experience: I love this cleanser. I can use it no matter the season, which is what I think the CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser (see my review in a previous post) wanted to do, but couldn’t. I love how it lathers and cleanses my skin without me needing to use a lot of product. (I used way too much in the video.) I have had this product for just over a year and it is good for 2 years so that is perfect. Recommend? Yes. Specs: • 1.7 oz/50 mL: $13 • 5 oz/150 mL: $24 • 8.5 oz/250 mL: $29* ✨✨ * in select retailers. Not shown on Origins.com 🔎 Where to find C&B? 🔍 🔘 Origins: 1.7 and 5 oz.; also seen in kits* 🔘 Sephora: 1.7 and 5 oz. 🔘 Ulta: 1.7 and 5 oz. 🔘 J.C. Penney: 5 oz. 🔘 Dillard’s: 5 and 8.5 oz. 🔘 Macy’s: all sizes * Where I got mine Origins pro-tips: If you have a brick-and-mortar store you can go to, then get samples and have them do one of their 5-minute facials. They will look at your skin and recommend products for your to try and create a routine around it. ♻️ Origins recycling program: They will take old bottles and recycle them. This isn’t exclusive to Origins products only. You also get points for which you can redeem later. This is a once-a-month thing for points, but you can bring them outside of that time for no points as well.

Foamy cleanser

I received this cleanser from a gift with purchase promotion from Clinique a while back - I was pretty excited to try this out however it didn’t work out as I had hoped. What I like about this product is that it is fragrance free and is safe for sensitive skin. What I don’t like is the foam part - I personally don’t opt for foam cleansers as it strips my skin dry and I do not like that feeling and unfortunately this cleanser stripped my skin dry so minus 1 star for the rating. Another thing is that it made my skin break out? After using this product for almost a week straight consistently I have noticed that my skin - around my jawline/cheeks I was getting red bumps and my skin was red. Minus another star for that! Other than that, it did clean my face well. Taking all the makeup I had off (double cleansing) I don’t think this product is worth the money. I wouldn’t repurchase it nor recommend it. I would rate it 3 stars 🌟 CLINIQUE - Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser
