NIOD FECC 7 WEEK UPDATE
NIOD FECC 7 WEEK UPDATE
So is Niod worth the price tag??? absolutely 💯!! I didn't really notice the difference at first but since I have been photographing my journey the picture says it all!! Now I can't attribute it all only to NIOD - Fractioned Eye Contour Concentrate even thought I know these technologies had a lot to do with it. I have also been using #Ole Henriksen - Uplifting Transformation eye gel [products]#[FiveStars] at night on top of FECC and SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream during the day over FECC. The combination of these have created amazing results. Not gonna lie the price of each one when purchased at full price is on the higher end. I found ole henriksen and the shiseido both at tj maxx for a bit less. Shiseido can run upwards of $64 however i found it at tj maxx for 34. You need only the smallest amount as it spreads very easily. Ole Henriksen when purchased from his site will cost $24 for 1/2 oz but I found it at tj maxx for $12 again only a small amount of produced is needed for each eye. Niod can run $68 for 15 mL however you need only one small drop for each eye. I have been using it twice a day for 8 weeks and I have only used about an 1/3 rd of a bottle. Also there are different websites you can find coupons to help bring that price tag down. So are these items worth the cost? I believe so!

Trying new things...
Trying new things...
Soooooo here we go- Previously on my face (in tv show announcer voice) So I started out a few years ago trying out different eye serums & not really loving any but then I started using Dr Dennis Gross - Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum & it is magical for dark circles!! I am fair skinned (like vampire) so my skin under my eyes is thin & allows the pigmentation underneath show thru a bit easier than most.... Therefore this was a lifesaver for my under eye dark circles & dipping my toe into the water for eye serums....my problem with this magical serum? It didn’t really do anything for my fine lines under my eyes.... 😩 So in strolls SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream meh...super soft & moisturizing but not knocking me out of the park with my fine lines or really my dark circles......at all....combine this with dr dennis gross & my eyes are hydrated & then dark circles are gone but....moving on So then I tried TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream & this stuff helps with the dark circles under my eyes & feels absolutely amazing (disclaimer-if you have sensitive skin do not mix this bad boy with dr dennis gross-that combo dried out my eyes so bad it was painful.....tho I learned that the only product that you can use on your skin that is USUALLY SAFE when needing to hydrate is plain ol’ vasoline-helped me on multiple occasions with skin problems) but same issues with my fine lines....ugh Added in TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK before I put on the peony silk eye cream & still....meh.... So-whilst looking for a clean option for an eye serum (realizing it’s prolly a good idea to be good to my skin now in my 20s) I stumbled across Drunk elephant & tonight I’m finally trying one of their eye serums!! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum First impressions? Not a big fan of the smell... Jeeze! the pump puts out enough product for 3 people’s eyes But after it absorbed a bit....I feel the tightening I’m not dried out & I have hopes....not exactly high hopes but hopes.... We shall see!!

EMPTIES CHALLENGE TAG (8 products)
EMPTIES CHALLENGE TAG (8 products)
Dear Cherie fam, I am a bit of a product junkie and I want to curb that habit in 2020. I am creating an empties tag to open it up to anyone who wants to join. Each of the 8 items come from one step of my normal skin care routine. I won’t be buying any beauty products until all predetermined 8 items are finished. If you are interested, then please use “EMPTIES CHALLENGE TAG” in your title along with how many items are in your routine and save the post. Rules: 1. Once the challenge is started you can’t swap out products. 2. Pick at least 1 product from each step of your skin care routine. 3. Must list each product you are trying to empty. 4. EXCEPTIONS: You are allowed to buy 2 beauty (skin, hair and makeup) items that need to be replaced and can’t be duplicated by something else in your stash. (Shop your stash first.) 5. No time limit. (We don’t need that kind of pressure.) 6. Save the empty containers for a secondary post that details how you felt and — if you needed to — what your 2 purchased products were. Products: 🔘 Cleansing oil: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm 🔘 Cleanser: COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser 🔘 * Toner: ENature’s Squeeze Green Watery Toner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔘 * Mask: Trader Joe’s Rose Gel Mask ⚪️ Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🔘 Eye cream: SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream 🔘 Moisturizer: CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 🔘 Overnight mask: Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask * Product not in Cherie’s database As I go, I will let you know what products I have emptied by changing the ⚪️ to 🔘. At the end, I will do a completely new post about the challenge with pictures of the empty containers and what I thought of it overall. Reviews of each product will follow that post. Join me if you dare.

Stable Eyecream for 7 years
Stable Eyecream for 7 years
I’ve been using this since 2013. This has been the most stable product (along with my SKII) in my skincare routine. Testimony from my friend: she used to have wrinkles around her eyes, perhaps from dry skin. And they disappeared when she started using this product. Pros: • deeply moisturizing • non irratitive • great for dry skin wrinkles • slows down wrinkles Cons: • price has increased quite a bit over the years • could be too thick for some people, and make the skin around your eyes appear oily (I personally don’t have a problem with that).

🌟For combo skin🌟My Skincare Routine After Years of Exploration...
🌟For combo skin🌟My Skincare Routine After Years of Exploration...
I have combination skin in summer and combination-dry skin in winter. My T-zone is not very oily and my cheeks are pretty normal. I get allergies easily during the change of seasons, so repairing my skin barrier is what I focus on for my skincare. 😫😫😫 Here is my skincare routine.  Cleansing: I only wash my face with water every morning. Girls with dry-sensitive skin don't need to over-cleanse, just splash your face with some cold water.💦💦 Toner:#OLE HENRIKSEN - Balancing Force Oil Control Toner[products]#[FiveStars] This is a product with a great reputation, containing green tea, eucalyptus, algae, and Irish moss extracts with a blend of both beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). This refreshing toner smells like peppermint and it feels great in summer. It maintains the oil and water balance of skin and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry, so it's suitable for most skin types, even dry skin. Apply it on your T-zone and hairline after removing your makeup and cleansing, and you'll feel instantly refreshed. Lotion:  I'm using the moisturizer version of ALBION milk lotion which is more suitable for dry skin. I use it with the skin conditioner essential to keep my skin hydrated and stable. I'll pour some of the skin conditioner onto a cotton pad and apply it on my face as a toner mask when I have acne and it really helps clear problem areas from just the next day. Serum: SHISEIDO - Ultimune Power Infusing Serum Concentrate is my true love and I've been repurchasing it over and over again. It keeps my skin healthy and delicate, and I rarely have acne breakouts anymore. The main ingredients in this Murad serum are peptides and three kinds of plant-derived extracts which are both moisturizing and anti-aging. The official website clearly states using it last in your skincare routine. Its texture is a little heavier than normal hydrating serums, so I recommend it for those with dry skin. Eye Cream:SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream& LANCÔME - Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum I recommend those with dry skin to try using the Lancôme Serum with the Benefiance eye cream. Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum is a water-based serum that's extremely moisturizing. You can apply the serum onto your face with the "ball-tip" applicator then massage it with your fingertips until it's fully absorbed by the skin. Then I'll follow up with Shiseido Eye Cream in the evening during fall and winter. It's moisturizing but not oily and it's also effective in getting rid of laugh lines. Facial Cream: SK-II - R.N.A. Power Radical New Age Cream, ORIGINS - High-Potency Night-a-Mins Resurfacing Cream With Fruit-Derived AHAs, and Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream These three facial creams that I chose have their own advantages. SK-II New Age Cream has a thick and heavy texture but it spreads easily and is super moisturizing. After it's absorbed, I feel that it leaves my skin with a protective layer, sealing in the moisture and nutrition. It also accelerates skin's metabolism when you use it during allergy flares. Origins Renewal Cream has a luscious texture and it spreads easily. Emulsify it on your palm before massaging it onto your skin until it's fully absorbed. However, this cream is only suitable for dry skin and for those who are not allergic to AHAs and mineral oil. On the other hand, Dr. Jart+ is great for sensitive skin. Ceramide and squalane are both useful in keeping our skin hydrated and in repairing our skin barrier, so I always use it when my skin flakes during allergy flares. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream can quickly reduce skin redness and relieve itching. I find it better than First Aid Beauty and CeraVe, and compared to the high-priced La Mer, Dr. Jart is more afforable. That's all I have for today. Thanks a lot for reading it! If you have any suggestions or questions hmu 🥰
