Liquid vs. Solid: Highlighter Edition
Before we begin my review let me clarify what you all are probably thinking! Eve, this Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment is an EYE product not a highlighter! Well let me tell you, up until the time I started to write this review ... I thought this was a highlighter and even told others it was too! I never looked at the container and just saw the pretty shade as an ideal highlighter 😂. So yes people today this eye product is being classified as a highlighter product! More importantly it’s a cream highlighter that retails for $24.00 (10 mL) and it was gifted to me hence why I never noticed it was an eye product. Once again I’m sharing that I have oily combo skin and have light to medium skin tone with a pink undertone. Now because this MILK product is so pigmented, a little goes a long way! Dab a small amount and apply in the cheekbone area, Cupid bows, and underneath the eyebrow for a maximum glow! It’s so pretty and because it’s a copper bronze shade, I believe this would look amazing on all skin tones - that’s if you choose to use it as a highlighter like I did hahaha! Even though it’s cream, it does not oil up with my oily skin throughout the day. My mistake ended up being one of my best beauty tricks! Next, we have the ever so pretty laura mercier - Face Illuminator Powder in shade Indiscretion. As you can see on the last loop video this solid powder highlighter is very similar in shade to the cream “ highlighter” from MILK. This highlighter retails for $45.00, which is on the more expensive side. This was another gifted item so I’m not sure if I would drip this much money before trying one out, however after using it I can why people love this brand and would pay the amount it costs. It’s such a stunning shade and it applies on the cheekbones so smoothly. You can easily build up the color with no problem! This is probably the toughest decision I have to make because both look stunning on my complexion and both get tons of compliments when I used to go out! But I am going to give this win to my not so real Highlighter, the MILK Pigment hahaha! If you made it this far in my review leave an eye emoji 👁!

Cream vs. powder eyeshadow
Eyeshadow can be such a fun part of a makeup routine. Whether it is cream or powder, eyeshadow can enhance the eyes in a simple way. Let’s delve into two formulas I have in my collections: Personally, I love the versatility of cream eyeshadows. Will it be an eyeshadow, eyeshadow primer, base, eyeliner, etc.c today? Who knows? The Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment in Silent Disco is relatively beginner friendly. What it does?: On Milk’s website, the eye pigments come in 8 different colors available for purchase. (Only 5 are on Sephora.com.) The pigments are meant to be long-wearing, crease-free, oil-free, cruelty-free and a whole lot of other things free. Use with an angled brush for a colorful winged eyeliner look. There I was digging through the beauty section of one of my local T.J. Maxx and I saw the Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment in Silent Disco. Described as a deep brown base with copper and gold shimmers, it is actually more unique than it sounds. To me, the base almost looks black which is why I compared it to the black in the REVOLUTION - Soph x Ultra 24 Eyeshadow Palette palette with both COLOURPOP - Pressed Powder Shadow used on top of that to create a similar look. MY EXPERIENCE: This pigment is so pretty and acts as a great all-over lid shade of you are having a lazy makeup day. The $5.99 price tag (0.34 fl. oz./10 mL) makes me love it more. (It is originally $24.) My eyelids are slightly darker and oily, but this covers the discoloration and shows true to color. The oils from my eyelids don’t break this pigment down easily. ••• If you ever want to dupe another shadow, then COLOURPOP - Pressed Powder Shadow and REVOLUTION - Soph x Ultra 24 Eyeshadow Palette are the way to go. Like I said the Milk pigment was such a unique color that CP just didn’t have. (Or at the very least, wasn’t in my collection.) I do think the this combo gets pretty close. Recommend? I recommend both. Milk for the product, but not the $24 price tag and CP/MR for the price tag, but not for the specific color.

My spring makeup looks
These are my everyday “natural” makeup look, I prefer light things on my face that just make it look more natural and beautiful and all this stuff is tested tried and true finally! It took me awhile to find the best stuff for what I wanted to look like, I will say Kosas lip balm is amazing but the cream blush and highlighter is not my favorite, then again nothing compares to glossier am I right?? They always knock it out of the park. And when I’m going for a little more noticeable makeup then I pull out my milk make up eyeshadow cream 5/5 cause that baby stays on alllllllll day long with no creasing, and yah girls got some oily eyelids too. Also their kush mascara is beautiful Just thought I would share the products I love and what I will be repurchasing when I run out, what are some of your guys favorite tried and true products? #springmakeuplooks

Milk Makeup Eye pigment
Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment The Milk Makeup Eye Pigments were my first introduction into eyeshadows in a form other than powder. There’s a lot of color options available, but the ones I have (in order of top to bottom) are Gig, Rager, Hotel Lobby, All Nighter, After Party, and Rave. Sadly, Gig and Rager are no longer being sold, which is a shame because Gig is my favorite shade. These bad boys do not budge when you put them on the eye. I don’t need a primer or anything, but actually have to work super quick to blend before the shadow sets. I work one eye at a time in order to make sure they’re properly blended, and I apply with my fingers rather than brushes. I use these on their own without layering over powder or other eyeshadows. Love them.Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment

Milk makeup eye pigment? yes please!
Oh my goodness this is my holy grail eye pigment! I have tested these out and even without a primer they stay on so well! No creasing, a little goes a very long way so I will have this little bottle for awhile. The colors if you blend them on the eye they are so beautiful and natural too it doesn’t look like too much. since I’m a person who does not know how to put on eye shadow this actually worked with me very well I was surprised. Oh My God I cannot recommend this enough!!!! 5/5 ladies go and buy it at milk makeup website! You will not be disappointed

It’s a milkmakeup day! 🥛 ⭐️Holographic Stick (Stardust) ⭐️Eye Pigment (Gig) ⭐️Kush Brow (Dutch) Okay, so I picked up these products in Chicago last week, and I’m already in love with the Holographic Stick & Eye Pigment. I didn’t think anything could ever come between me and Cloud Paint, but I’m big on eliminating steps/multifunctional products, and it’s suuuch a pretty, subtle pink, with the perfect amount of highlight all in one swipe! And I can take it up to my lids if I want... Which brings me to the Eye Pigment! I love that it can be quickly and easily applied with your fingers, a little bit goes such a long way (VERY pigmented), and it survives 10-hour hospital shifts! Gig is a gorgeous bronze shade, and I‘m already eyeing others bc I like it so much. Such a simple way to add some color and shimmer to an on-the-go routine. I’m still on the fence about Kush Brow though. The shade is a good match for me, and it definitely does its job, but I’ve found I have to be super careful with it! I’ve had a couple incidents where things got out of hand, and it seems to transfer to skin/become a mess a little easier/faster than others I’ve used. Human error is REAL though, so it might just be me in a hurry/not knowing how to handle her just yet... All in all, VERY PLEASED with these purchases. They’ve instantly become go-to products in my routine. ❤️🥛
