⏰ A 5 min post dedicated to a 5 min face ⏰
My regular, usual, everyday face-done in probably 4 minutes 59 seconds 🙃 BUT WAIT 🤚 Before we even start, please for the love of all that is holy start by: -wash your face (duh) -moisturize/serum/etc -SPF (don’t mess around with sun damage) And back to those deets: 1️⃣ Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 2️⃣ SOAP BROWS with Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils& it Cosmetics - Brow Power Waterproof Perfector 3️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek 4️⃣ ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara 5️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter And that’s it folks! Honestly though as I get older I get lazier on the whole makeup bit and more into the whole taking care of my skin but (see the note about SPF above). (& if you’re all like “🧼 SOAP BROW 🧼?!?” Don’t worry-that’s a story for another time)

The milkmakeup minis are being tested during a day of lounging by the pool✨ 💕 Lip + Cheek in Werk - Dusty rose tint that I use on my cheeks as a faint blush. A little dewy thanks to the avocado oil and mango butter. Keeps relatively well in the humidity! 💕 Highlighter in Lit - Champagne-hued highlighter that is great for focused application to cheekbones. It doesn’t look glittery or chunky and has a similar feel to Fenty. It’s a little cool-toned for my liking, so I’ll have to experiment with how I layer this with blush. 💕 Cooling Under-Eye De-Puffer Stick - Carried this around for the so-called “cooling” effect, but I’m pretty sure this doesn’t do anything. Like 99% sure lol.

hi everyone ✨ for my first post on here i wanted to share some feedback on popular highlighters on the market right now! loves 💕💖💓 CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops (Moonlight): i was pleasantly surprised by this product! there was a lot of pigment to it and it spread very easily. just a warning, a little goes a long way and it isn’t as easy to get that small of an amount out of the dropper bottle! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Moonlight): becca’s highlighter is a long-time fav of mine! i love the shade pearl because my skin is so light in the winter and it still pops! the moonlight is just as good, just a bit darker and good for a more natural look 🤍 the milk makeup highlighter was the worst of the batch, it took multiple applications to get near to the result i was looking for and by that time the pigment was too dark to make it look natural i actually really liked the nudestix one too! it just wasn’t as great as the others i had sampled the bareminerals and tarte highlighters left something to be desired, becca has perfected the powder application of highlighter but i felt like these products wouldn’t last as long on my skin benefit’s high beam was very dramatic and came in a liquid application. it would work best for special events but not great for everyday wear in my opinion! thanks for reading🥰 share your experiences with your favorite products in the comments!

Favourite highlighter for my skin tone ✨✨✨
Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter This highlighter stick is probably ONE of my favourite ones to use for my skin tone. I have the mini travel size of this that I got as a Sephora gift set, BUT I LOVE HOW MINI IT IS 🥰🥰 it’s so cute aha. The highlighter is a really pretty colour for my skin tone because of the consistency it’s not a powder where it can be drying and glittery and it’s not a more water base where it can be sticky and weird🙃🙃 I love this consistency because it’s the perfect amount and it gives you such a beautiful colour. I have a light to med would probably just define it as a neutral skin colour with a hint of olive under tones and this just emphasizes the glow I already have ✨✨ It’s not a crazy pigment and you can definitely build it up if you want, but I love how subtle it can be with your makeup. It’s one of my favourites and it’s so easy to take with you when you need it. I took it with me on my trip to China and it helped so much with not putting too much makeup on where you can sweat, but having something to make you feel confident and put together. 👏🏼🥰🧡 I love it so much!

Take These Products Away....Far Away From Me
TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer The product broke me out so badly. It was awful and I am not talking a little blemish here or there but huge blemishes on my cheek, chin and nose. Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter I had two problems with this product: it didn’t deposit any color unless I scrubbed it against my cheek and it broke me out. No thanks. fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I know this is a Holy Grail product for many a magazine but I can only rec it if you enjoy washing your face with sandpaper. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi It did everything but LITERALLY set my face on fire. Red blotches and peeling skin galore. The opposite of a moisturizer in my book.

Key to on-the-go makeup
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about doing my makeup on my commute it’s that sticks are the answer! They make the whole process so much quicker and less complicated, they’re easy and compact to travel with, and they mean no more worries about spilling product down your top or in your makeup bag! Oh, and on top of that, they’re usually much more hygienic since you don’t need to use your hands to apply them. In fact, with these products, you don’t even need a brush. Milk Makeup’s Highlighter in Lit and Cheek + Lip Tint in Werk are two staples in my everyday makeup routine. I start by applying Werk to the apples of my cheeks – all it takes is a couple of dabs moving outwards towards the edge of my face. The colour is very sheer and neutral (kind of a warm, dusky pink) so it doesn’t need blending unless I am a bit heavy-handed – in which case a quick blend with a powder brush does the trick. Because it’s a cream formula it has a little bit of a dewy finish which looks really pretty and natural. The colour doesn’t last all day (which is the one downside) but because it’s a stick, it’s so easy to top it up throughout the day. Next, I apply Lit on the tops of my cheekbones up to my temples. Again, this has a really sheer and natural finish so it’s impossible to overdo it. I literally just swipe the stick over my skin and it layers on just the right amount of product – resulting in a bright and glossy shine. What I really love about it is that it’s not too sparkly or glittery so it doesn’t sit in my pores or emphasise my acne scars. Would 100% recommend both of these products if you want to streamline your makeup routine!
