Highlights
What It IsA lightweight, tinted moisturizer with broad-spectrum SPF 30 that hydrates skin with natural oils while providing buildable, natural-looking coverage.
What Else You Need to KnowThis tint protects skin with broad-spectrum SPF 30, while its formula hydrates and leaves a dewy finish thanks to a blend of avocado, mandarin, jojoba, grapeseed, and olive oils. The glass rollerball applicator makes for a quick, mess-free, on-the-go experience. DISCLAIMER: Because Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 is makeup, Milk Makeup suggests applying it during your AM routine and then touching up with your traditional SPF sunscreen during the day if you are exposed to the sun for an extended period of time.

Which skin tint is worth it?
Which skin tint is worth it?
Preface: I love skin tints. I much prefer having my natural skin tone, spots, and freckles/moles visible through a dewy foundation rather than having a full coverage matte look which accentuates my skin texture and dryness. These are both formulas I have tried and loved for different reasons but which one is more worth it? Products: UNDONE BEAUTY - Unfoundation Glow Tint Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 Price points: Undone: $14 for 1.19oz Milk: $42 for .7oz Applicator: Undone: they have since updated their packaging to a squeeze tube, but I also like this dropper applicator shown in photo 2. It’s hygienic and very easy to control how much you use. Milk: this is kind of strange, but I like that it has an airless pump at the end of the tube. The part I don’t like it the rollerball applicator at the dispensing end of the tube. Like stick foundations, this allows for bacteria (including acne-causing bacteria) to hang out on that applicator if applied directly to the face. This is annoying because every time I use it I have to apply it to the back of my hand and THEN dot it on my face with my fingers for a hygienic application. Scent: Undone: no powerful scent, maybe if anything a subtle clay scent. Milk: this formula is SPF 30 so it just smells like sunscreen. Texture: Undone: this is a super-lightweight thin liquid formula that can be applied directly with your fingers for the lightest coverage or a brush/sponge for slightly more coverage. It offers a SUPER dewy finish that can be set with powder to lessen your glow if preferred. Milk: this offers slightly more coverage and you only need the tiniest bit to cover your entire face. It is thicker than the undone formula and can also be applied with fingers or brush/sponge to customize your preferred coverage. I prefer to apply both of these as dots on my face first and then buffed out with a foundation brush meant for stippling. I also prefer to wear these formulas in the summer time when I am less pale. Overall experience & thoughts: The undone beauty tint is much more accessible being in Target stores and it’s more affordable but doesn’t offer a whole lot of coverage compared to the milk tint. However, each formula is buildable without any cake face. The milk Makeup formula does include SPF so that can be seen as a win but you can also easily apply the undone beauty tint over your daily SPF without issues. My personal preference is to wear the undone tint when I’ll be spending more time indoors and the milk tint when I’ll be spending more time outdoors. They are tints so YES I know neither of them completely matches my skin tone and that is the point, it’s a tint. I would say for the amount of product you get and accessibility for each price point, the Undone Beauty tint is more worth it. ALSO: my skin type is sensitive and dry & my skin tone is fair.

OH SH*T...I have a zoom call in 10 minutes...
OH SH*T...I have a zoom call in 10 minutes...
We have all been there. Whether you slept in and don’t have time to get “fully ready” or you just need to be ready in a flash. I GOT YOU BABE! This is how I get ready in 10 minutes for a zoom call: BROWS: If anything has to be done, it’s my brows. They go on first. We don’t have a lot of time so I just brush them out with my favorite tinted brow gel, e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel SKIN TINT: No foundation or concealer here. I just apply a skin tint to even out my skin tone, since my webcam isn’t HD and you probably won’t see my red marks. I hastily apply Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 so I get my sunscreen and tint all in one. If I plan on wearing this longer I would set it with a powder at least under my eyes, but today I only have one call. *please note that I do not condone the racist actions made my Milk Makeup’s internal corporate team(s). I am simply using products I already own so I am not wasteful. HIGHLIGHTER: In my eyes, highlighter > blush. So if I am really tight on time I skip blush. Today my highlighter is super quick and easy cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter blended out with my fingers on my cheekbones and tip of my nose. BLUSH: I’m only applying blush because the product I’m using doubles as a cheek and lip tint. It’s from one of my favorite indie brands, Undone Beauty, which is exactly the vibe I am going for. UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE —I’m using the shade 310 Rosy. It takes me all of 15 seconds to apply my blush on both cheeks. LIPS: just swipe more of the UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE on my lips. If I have time, I’ll top it off with a gloss—we don’t have time for lip liner today! EYES: No nonsense today. Just going in with a new fave: FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara this is the new shade Merlot which is a red brown. I love natural colored mascaras since they help you look less bold, more “my lashes but better.” No clumps. Now I’m ready for my zoom call!! What are your go-to products for quick and easy makeup? #CheriePartner

THE ULTIMATE TINTED MOISTURIZER SHOWDOWN✨
THE ULTIMATE TINTED MOISTURIZER SHOWDOWN✨
I loove a good tinted moisturizer. Sometimes, I treat it like the last step of my skincare routine because my favorite formulas tint AND treat the skin with its ingredients! Supergoop! - Daily Correct CC Cream 35+ in Light This is a medium to high buildable coverage tinted moisturizer (the highest coverage out of all 4 formulas). The texture is on the thicker side so I would recommend warming up the product in between your fingers or on the back of your hand with a brush before applying to the face. I love using this on days when I feel like my skin needs a little extra coverage and when I know I want my skin to look dewy and glowy. COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer in Light 7W This has light to medium coverage that is buildable (the second highest coverage out of all 4 formulas). The texture feels like a true lotion, nothing super thick and heavy and runny either. The formula has hyaluronic acid in it which makes it a beautiful skin-plumping product. This is my go-to when I want to look natural but polished. It doesn’t cover up everything on my face but leaves a fresh glowy finish- perfect for everyday! ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 in ST4 Formosa and ST6 Ora This has a super runny, lightweight consistency that offers only a hint of coverage- basically just adding a bit of color and glow to the face. It’s also formulated with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to plump, hydrate and treat the skin while ALSO providing SPF. This is the product I use most days as the last step of my skincare routine because it just adds the perfect amount of glow and color for my everyday needs! Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 in Sand I have compared this product to ILIA’s Skin Tint because I find them super similar in application and result. The only difference I can notice is that Sunshine Skin Tint has a little more coverage and feels slightly heavier on the skin so it takes a few more seconds to work in. It’s a great formula and I usually wear this when I want slightly more coverage than usual. Are there other tinted moisturizers I should try?

aka Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 in Honey. This is my favorite everyday tinted mister I er that you absolutely cannot go wrong with. It’s perfect for dry to combination dry skin. It keeps your skin hydrated, with a light tint. It’s super lightweight. It evens out your complexion, but does not cover blemishes and isn’t for you if you’re looking for a high coverage foundation. If you have oily skin this also might not be for you, it is pretty moisturizing and if you are already blessed with plenty of natural oils this will eventually slip off by the end of the day. I do love wearing this for everyday wear, and for days where I’m going for a light hike and still want to look like a put together human being. The SPF 30 is also such a wonderful added factor, knowing that my skin is protected.Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30

DUPE ALERT: ILIA vs. MILK
DUPE ALERT: ILIA vs. MILK
ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 -weightless feeling -dewy finish -sheer coverage -SPF 40 (12% non-nano zinc oxide) -formulated with squalane, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to help support skin, improve elasticity, smooth skin texture, seal in hydration and plump skin Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 $42, 0.7 oz. -weightless feeling -dewy finish -sheer coverage -SPF 30 (7.5% octinoxate & 5% zinc oxide) -infused with avocado, mandarin, grapeseed and olive oil Honestly, the application and feeling of both products is super similar. The finish and wear are almost identical! The only difference I can feel or see is that the Milk Makeup feels sliiiiightly thicker to apply and ILIA’s is more thin and runny. But other than that, the coverage is identical and the dewy finish looks the same! You can see from the photos that it looks like I’m wearing the same product on both sides of my face! I’m wearing shades that don’t 100% match (ILIA in Formosa and Milk in Sand) but they’re sheer enough that they blend right into my skin and end up looking super close! Looking at the ingredients, I feel like ILIA’s Super Serum Skin Tint would be more beneficial for my acne-prone combination skin and that Milk Makeup is more suitable for dry/dehydrated skin. I can see uses for both and I will definitely continue to use up both!
