KUSH High Volume Mascara
Why It's SpecialNo clumps or spidery lashes here! Just length, volume, and curl.
What It IsA high-volume mascara formulated with heart-shaped fibers, conditioning hemp-derived cannabis seed oil, and pure pigments for an intense black finish.
Research ResultsIn consumer-perception study, immediately after use: - 95% of people saw high volume - 95% of people saw longer lashes - 90% of people saw thicker lashes
What Else You Need to KnowThis mascara’s unique heart-shaped fibers lay in each direction for a soft, feathery effect—unlike cylindrical fibers which can be spidery. Hemp-derived cannabis seed oil conditions for healthier-looking lashes and helps fuse fibers to lashes for no fallout. The puff puff brush’s crisscrossed, medium-firm bristles catch and coat each lash.

10 hour test of Milk kush mascara
This is MILK’s high volume kush mascara in the shade blackest black. It contains cannabis sativa oil, as well as heart shaped fibers for volume, as opposed to long fibers that can end up looking “spidery.” Like all of MILK’s products, this mascara is vegan and cruelty free! While I think putting CBD and hemp extracts in everything is a *bit* of a gimmick—I don’t know that the cannabis oil in this really adds much to the performance of the product—I do really like this mascara, and it holds up all day. I’m a grad student with several jobs and I’m typically wearing makeup for at least 12 hours a day, so it’s important to me to wear items that last without needing constant touch-ups. Since today was a Saturday, I didn’t have school, but I did run a lot of errands, walk a lot, and cook dinner and meal prep. I have absolutely no complaints about how this mascara wears throughout the average day—my only thing is that it isn’t waterproof, so if it rains or snows, it can smudge slightly. However, there is a waterproof version, which I’m hoping to try soon. This version keeps my lashes looking thick and long from sunup til sundown, so it’s a winner in my book! It’s $24 for the full size, which is worth it in my opinion. Have you tried this mascara? What did you think?

That good kush and mascara 👀
Finding the perfect mascara can be hard. Some give you good length but clump. Some give you good volume but no length. And some just straight up don’t work. My lashes are long but tend to stick out straight and lack in volume. They also get stuck together very easily. I’ve tried many different mascaras, ranging from drugstore to a little bit more higher end. After many trial and error situations, I think i’ve finally found the perfect one: the Milk Kush Mascara! Product info: price point: $24 for a full size and $12 for travel vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free key ingredient: hemp-derived cannabis seed oil heart-shaped fibers to lock onto lashes to create volume pure pigments for intense black finish My mascara method: first, i ALWAYS curl my lashes. I warm up the curler first with either the warm setting on my blow dryer or i stick it in my bra while i am doing the rest of my routine (people with boobs this is a real time saver). I curl them in 3 parts: more towards the outside, then middle, then inside. I hold each for about 5-10 seconds (depends on if I lose count or not 🙈) second, I apply the mascara, wiggling as I go through each lash. Then I take a clean mascara wand and go over the lashes to break up any clumps. For this mascara specifically, I happened to have a travel size of it, so I cleaned the travel size wand off before I used it to separate my lashes. It’s very helpful to use the same wand but if there is a wand that you prefer over the provided wand, then go for that! third, I repeat step two one more time before the first coat dries and then do the bottom lashes with whatever is left on the mascara wand. My bottom lashes I only do one coat and do not use the clean mascara wand for this. My overall thoughts: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Honestly, look at my picture! (This is also my first post with me in it so hiya! 👋🏻) The difference between my eyes is incredible. I have volume, length, and my lashes just look plain amazing. The only thing I would be wary of with this is that the fibers are super thick so you do have to wipe some of the product off the wand to prevent major clumping. It kind of scared me when I first opened the product, but it’s all about manipulating the product sometimes. I love the wand. It’s thick and holds the product well and separates the lashes really well. The packaging is heavy and durable, which I adore a well-packaged cosmetic. Milk nailed this mascara and they also have a waterproof version as well. I recommend this for anyone in the market for a new mascara! I hope this review helps! As always, patch test your products before use and remember that if a product works for other people, it’s okay if it doesn’t work for you! Not all products are for everyone which is completely normal! ~Kristina 💛

10-minute Makeup Routine
When I only have 10 mins to do my makeup bc I’m running late or whatever, my goals are to brighten up my face and add a charm to it. Not that it’s not already charming on its own, but you know how it is running on lil sleep 🤪 On these days, I prefer not to go anywhere near foundation as I find that it can be quite messy to work with in a short amount of time and sometimes brings out my imperfections a lil too much. So to glow I used the ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Charged Cheek Palette on both my eyes (light pink “Aphrodisiac”), as a highlighter (“Pure Love”) on my cheeks and nose & as blush (reddish pink “Divinity”). I really like this formula as it’s non chalky and has good hold. I even used the sample I have from ĀETHER BEAUTY - Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Eyeshadow Palette in Rose Quartz in the corners of my eyes. It stays on great, especially when used on a base like SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer in Caramel. I also used elate - LipColour Pencil to give my eyes that metallic look. As for the lips, I prepped them with BITE - Agave+ Daytime Vegan Lip Balm which has a nice, creamy texture but I dislike the scent! And then I topped my lips with the new BITE - Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss on Cinnamon Twist, which is a nice lipgloss made with cinnamon oil to plump the lips. It comes out of a twisted tip which can be cleaned after each use, which is great for times like this when you wouldn’t want to contaminate your makeup! I finished this look off with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara that most of us probably got from Sephora for our birthday 🎂 and Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel to shape my eyebrows. I gave it a 4 star because I feel sometimes it wipes off on area of my face I wish it wouldn’t.

Hellooooo Milk Makeup! I can’t tell you guys how excited and in love I am with this stuff, it’s like they were all made for me! Matte Bronzer: I love. I love so much. It’s incredible value as this will last forever for a decent price. I was swiping it on my skim and blending out and then switch to going into the product with a brush then the skin and I honestly like both ways. It’s not for contouring as it’s quite warm, but it warms up the face for a sun kissed glow perfectly. It blends perfectly and isn’t super matte. It surprisingly works well over powder! And yes, it does smell like play dough Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Flex Foundation: I cannot stop using it. It glides onto the skin and melts and blends in really beautifully with a sponge. When I apply a decent powder on top it stays in place all day, but will separate pretty badly on its own. The colour match is spot on and doesn’t cover up any glow that my skincare and primer provide! I’m not so sure about the skincare benefits, but my acne prone skin tells me that it’s good for those who are sensitive!! I’m going to keep this for travel as it’s so tiny and non liquid. I highly recommend using the hydro grip primer with it too!Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick Kush Lash Primer and Mascara: I don’t know how to typically use lash primers, but I’m impressed. It fattens up my lashes really well and gives me the volume I crave. The mascara is lengthening and volumizing too on its own and with the primer. I love how my lashes feel so soft and not stiff with this. It makes removing it literally effortless with an oil cleanser, I don’t get flakes and fallout during the day nor does it smudge. I used the mascara months ago and remember it helping my lashes grow too Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Lash Primer Vegan Milk Moisturizer: love. New holy grail. That’s it. Kidding!! It’s the thickest cream I’ve ever used and it’s so soft and gentle. It feels almost too thick at first but then melts into the skin with some warmth. It’s completely free of irritating ingredients and I have immediate redness reduction and zero tightness when I use this morning or night. It doesn’t pill up over an oil and makes primer and foundation go on very smoothly. Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer

I’m technically working from home again. I spent the last couple of weeks working in film production, so I didn’t even have a chance to do anything for myself since ~16 hrs of my day were focused on getting to/from work & being present there. Now that I’m home more, it’s important for me to still treat myself like I’m going somewhere... because I am towards my destiny, finding a way to turn my passion into a career 😅 and it’s nice to look “nice, presentable” or whatever for yourself, even at home... if we’ve learned anything during quarantine, amirite? So here’s what I look like waking up to what a few mins of tending to myself with products looks like ✨ It’s not a huge change, but it definitely perks me up! Also before anyone starts, glasses are cute AF but sometimes I feel like they hide my face, especially in photos! ... even though that’s the reason I got rimless glasses 🤣 Anyways, I started by undoing my overnight braids with a little bit of the GRAYDON - Intimacy Oil on my fingers to “lubricate” the hair strands and give em a little sheen. Then I started my face off with some Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter in Topaz and Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter Concentrate in Copper (I like to use this as a bronzer, slight contour) I used the ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Charged Cheek Palette as both highlighter, blush AND the main eyeshadow to brighten my lids. Speaking of eyeshadow, MISMACK - Large ART Shadow in 'Shade' and Pure Anada - Grape Pressed Eye in Espresso we’re used for definition. Then I finished my upper face with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara and Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel . To both add a little pigment and hydrate my lips, I used my fave lip balm Kosas - Kosasport Lipfuel in Pulse.

Makeup for Special Occasions: Clubbing 💃🏽
Omg can I just say that doing this look made me miss going out even more! 😢 I personally thrive on the dance floor 💃🏽 But anyways, you guessed right this is my clubbing makeup. Let’s be real when we’re going clubbing, it’s important to keep in mind that most of our makeup will be sweated off by the end of the night, so I prefer to keep it as glam yet simple as possible! I achieve this by using fun colours that I normally wouldn’t, with a few products. So here you see I am wearing blue eyeliner, which takes a while to come off & a purplish pink gloss to give my lips a tinted shine that I won’t have to keep maintaining with several lipsticks and lip liners! By the way, I’m not wearing foundation bc that’ll definitely get messy throughout the night with the way I’m dancing & I just love my skin how it is, honestly! 1. I started this look off with doing my brows. I got them waxed today ✨ so I didn’t need to shape them up, just filled them in with Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel 2. Next I used SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer to let the ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Grid Gemstone Palette eyeshadow last a bit longer throughout the night. I used an icy blue from this palette to just brighten the eyes more, which would look nice when the light hits em. (For shadow on the eye crease and contour I used MISMACK - Large ART Shadow in 'Shade' which is not captured bc it crumbled after falling oK?!😭) 3. Then I did a cat eye on each side in blue with L'ORÉAL - Infallible Paints Eyeliner . Oops it’s not “clean beauty” but it glides so nicely and the pen doesn’t dry out mid stroke, which I really respect. I also have this in white for future face art experiments 🖼 4. Completed fanning the lashes with the superb Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara we all got for our birthdays from Sephora 💝 5. Used FENTY BEAUTY - Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter to warm up the cheekbones with both the orange and pink and then LAWLESS - Lucid Skin Highlighter to highlight the usual areas. 6. I know in the last post I gave it a 4 star rating, but honestly, I finally found the use for the BITE - Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss in Plum Tart, as I noticed it lasts quite a while without needing to be reapplied. Such a win! It tastes like Coca Cola and isn’t too sticky, but gives enough of shine and pigment to make it look like you’re wearing something 👌🏽 #CheriePartner
