To “B” (Oil) Or Not To “B”
To “B” (Oil) Or Not To “B”
The Ordinary - "B" Oil What is “B” Oil? A daily support formula for all skin types. It contains a purified form of micro-algae. “B” oil (B for blend) is a mixture of oils to support healthy skin, enhance radiance, fight dehydration, fight signs of aging, provide antioxidant, even skin tone, and help signs of irritation. The Blend of Oils: Squalane Marula Argan Boabab Patuau Brazil nut Inca inchi Rosehip Borage How to Use: You can use this in the AM or PM. Apply a few drops. You can use this alone or mixed with a moisturizer. Because this is an oil, apply this after your water-based products. My Thoughts: It’s green in colour, which applies clear once on the skin. It has a strong algae smell but you don’t notice after application. I find it leaves an oily feeling to your skin, so if you don’t like this then this product might not be for you. I do see a nice glow after using this product and find it very hydrating :) I definitely recommend this product. I think it could provide some lovely long-term effects.

green b oil for stubborn redness! 🧪💔
green b oil for stubborn redness! 🧪💔
🧪 the ordinary | “b” oil ($9.20 for 30mL) 🧪 * I took this, n somewhat reworded it, from deciem’s website: “b” oil solubilizes a purified form of micro-algae in a blend of squalane and oils of marula, argan, baobab, pataua, brazil nut, inca inchi, rosehip and borage; this skincare product supports healthy skin defense, enhances radiance, quenches free radicals and helps balance pro-irritant mediators. 📚 * This formula is marketed for daily use on all skin types. It should be applied daily after all water-based products in your routine (i.e. most likely, after your moisturizer) 📝 • The “b” oil absorbs quickly. The oil has a green tint and smells like plants 🍃🌱– imagine veggie juice scent; this is due to its high micro-algae concentration. It honestly reminds me of Shrek whenever I use it lol • This is one of my FAV oils I’ve ever tried. The scent threw me off in the beginning and I found the color odd, but that didn’t deter me from using it. I’ve used it for about 6 months, since June 2019 or so. I decided to try it because of my love for the ordinary’s rose hip seed oil. It did have a lot to live up to and it met my expectations. • I like the b oil a lot because it – seriously – helps with the redness around my nose and on my forehead. 🆗🆒 • I def. recommend this to anyone who struggles with stubborn redness on your face. This helps, but it takes consistent, daily use over 3-5 months to see an obvious difference (at least in my experience). • I think this product is worth it. It’s almost time for me to buy a replacement, which I def intend to do! • 5/5 I LOVE IT 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 & 💎

The Ordinary: Marine Hyaluroni
The Ordinary: Marine Hyaluronics & “B” Oil Marine Hyaluronics sounded great I’ll admit. A lightweight marine derived hydrating serum. This has a water light texture. Seriously the best lightweight texture. Sinks in and gives a nice cushy layer of hydration. This has algae, amino acids, marine glycoproteins (hydrating, reinforce skins barrier) and marine exopolysaccharides (hydrating, helps with skin barrier function) It layers well with everything and I loved everything about the serum and texture. It smells terrible. Like marine poop. Stinky marine feet. It’s not a pleasant scent at all and while I adored the texture I could not force myself to use it. And I use a lot of stuff that smells bad. Biologique Recherche Placenta is better than this. It just wasn’t worth it. Love the concept, price and product. Sadly I gave mine away. For $6.80 it’s totally worth trying “B” Oil is the first blended oil by The Ordinary. All of their other facial oils are single oils. I’m not a huge single oil fan and love the blended versions more. For $9.20 I jumped all over it and it ended up being the best blended cheap oil I’ve tried. The oil has a deep green hue with an herbal scent. It’s got a medium weight texture and I was able to use it both night or days “B” Oil has fractionated coconut oil, squalane, abyssinian, jojoba, algae m, baobab, argan, borage, rosehip, marula, pataua, sacha inchi, brazil nut & tomato fruit extract. I’m not usually a fan of fractionated coconut oil. It makes facial oils have a thicker dry touch texture that I don’t prefer. I personally can’t use regular coconut oil but fractionated seems to be OK most the time. It depends on the brand. I didn’t experience any break outs or anything while using this oil so it was OK for me. For a blended oil under $10 this one is worth checking out. I ended up preferring my high end-green beauty-coconut oil free facial oils to this one in the long run so I gave mine away, but it was decent for the price

help! eye product to use with adapalene
help! eye product to use with adapalene
I just finished my first week on Tactupump (prescribed adapalene and benzoyl peroxide). I've read different posts about how to start adding retin-A safely - pea sized amount over whole face, avoiding eyes and mouth, every other day, removed other actives, spf, etc. Overall I'm doing okay but just had a minor reaction with my favorite eye serum The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG applied after 4 days and instantly started burning and caused redness/flakiness under my brows. I applied aloe but stopped using the serum and haven't had a reaction since. AM routine: - Norwex gentle facial cloth wash with water - THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist (want to replace but just using up the last bit as a base for serums) - SNP - PREP Peptaronic Toner - Osmosis Beauty - Rescue - Epidermal Repair Serum - CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream - Supergoop! - Play Everyday Lotion 50 Default Title or Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 if wearing makeup PM routine: - DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil - innisfree - Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Foam - SNP - PREP Peptaronic Toner - boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer soon to be replaced with LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream - Tactupump 0.1% adapalene and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide topical gel every other day - CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream plus The Ordinary - "B" Oil soon to be replaced with LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Maskon Tactupump nights Any suggestions for a safer eye product I can swap in? I need the extra hydration around my eyes and have morning puffiness and dark circles.

Face cream for EXTREMELY SENSITIVE skin
Face cream for EXTREMELY SENSITIVE skin
It has been a really long and frustrating journey trying to find a face cream for my EXTREMELY sensitive skin. I feel like I have tried every recommended option on the market to no avail...until now. This cream and the CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin saved my skin. It doesn’t cause my skin to break out, burn, itch or cause a rash which I’ve been struggling with for so long. I hope this helps someone who has been struggling to find a face cream for their extremely sensitive skin. If you have really dry skin like me I’ve been using The Ordinary - "B" Oil on top to add more hydration and help with redness as well

AM SKINCARE ROUTINE✨
AM SKINCARE ROUTINE✨
Hi guys! i’m back again to show you all my morning routine! i’ve been using my morning routine for awhile now and it’s been really good on my skin! Here’s the products!! THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash I commented on this product on my PM skin care routine and i just wanna do a little add on to what i’ve noticed. After washing my face with this, it does feel a bit dry after so keep that into consideration. TOWER 28 - SOS Save.Our.Skin Daily Rescue Facial Spray I’ve used this for awhile now and i’ve noticed absolutely nothing lmaoooo. i mean it’s a bit hydrating don’t get me wrong and it also didn’t irritate my skin which is good too but i didn’t notice anything if i’m being completely honest. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Multivitamin Booster I really like this serum! i usually use it by itself but you can also put it in your moisturizer for a good boost also. It is really hydrating and I’ve noticed that it helped some of my scaring since my skin gets all scabby and it helped smooth it out. Definitely would recommend if you have sensitive or dry skin!! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I also love this product a lot! my skin looks brighter and my acne looks a lot better when i use this product. My only problem is when i use this and i rub it in and it kinda makes this white foam on my face, maybe it’s my cleanser? i’m not sure but i do really love this. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Now i think this is my fav moisturizer ever. Trust me, I’ve tried so many moisturizer that just haven’t suited my skin, but this product really worked. It’s simple but effective, amazing texture, very moisturizing and i think good for all skin types. I will continue to purchase this product!!! The Ordinary - "B" Oil this product is also one of my favs!! i usually mix it into the moisturizer and it feels very nice on the skin! it also helped make my skin brighter and clear some of my acne scars!!! I also use this under makeup too for a nice deep natural look!! this is another product that i’ll repurchase again and again! I also use a stick sunscreen to protect my skin from the sun!! If you guys have any recommendations i will gladly consider!! Thank you✨✨✨
